That night went well. Ekhtuya's existence helped greatly to Bianco's work. The young man's body was still painful in some parts. But thanks to Ekhtuya, he did not need to do heavy work. Even so, his wine supply was completely exhausted. Tomorrow Bianco will have to go to the distillery to order one large barrel of fermented wine.
Ekhtuya and Andres force to accompany Bianco the next morning. And even though Bianco had already refused several times, but they both still insisted. Finally, the three men went to the distillery.
Bianco is becoming more vigilant now, after yesterday's brutal beating. The existence of Andres and Ekhtuya a little more makes it calmer when passing through the frenzied market.
“Why do you always help me?” bianco asked Ekhtuya when they both visited one of the snack shops. Andres was already busy looking through the gun shop next to the tavern.
“Because you are a good person,” said Ekhtuya lightly.
“Good?” sahut Bianco half-grunts. “If a person like me you say good means all criminals on this continent are angels,” continued Bianco half laughing.
He rarely laughed during this time. But Ekhtuya's words were ridiculous.
“I'm serious. At least for the size of the Nuchas, you're actually pretty good. Ever since I got here, the people who came up to me have always invited me to fight. Even when I asked them nicely, all I got was punches and scorn. The Nuchas people seem to put their fists first more than their mouths.”
Bianco laughed again. “Have you only met the torero all this time? They're just people who have muscles but no brains.”
“Not really,” said Ekhtuya while thinking. “I've also met some women. They took me to a dimly lit place and offered me to sell myself. Absolutely nothing is right in Nuchas,” long grumbled Ekhtuya.
Bianco was still laughing as he shook his head. “Lucky you have good martial skills. Otherwise you'll end up in brotel.”
“Can be. Well, although I also can't say that life in Giyatsa is easy, but at least we still keep a lot of customary norms.”
“How is life in Giyatsa? I heard your tribe lives in the snowy mountains. But the smell of your body is like the smell of a tropical forest,” asked Bianco curious.
Ekhtuya suddenly turned to Bianco. “What is bad?” ask her with round eyes.
“Ah .. no, no. That's a nice smell. I love your scent,” said Bianco hurriedly.
Ektuya smiled thinly. “Thank God,” his sigh was relieved.
“Our tribe has the ability to cultivate plants. Sometimes we transacted with the people of the Leopolis and Ehawee tribes to get spices and herbs from their tropical regions. We usually use that tropical herb to take care of our bodies. The refreshing aroma of citrus makes us feel more passionate, especially when it comes to prolonged winter,” Ekhtuya explained at length.
Bianco nodded in understanding. So it's the secret of Ekhtuya's gentle and refreshing aroma. Bianco wonders if all of Giyatsa's women have the same scent. Even after doing heavy work and sweating, Ekhtuya still let out a fragrant smell from his body.
“Ah, yes. Someone's been giving me the same perfume for years. Over time I used the perfume like a habit,” explained Bianco who immediately remembered the expensive perfume given Beatris.
“Looks like he's very special to you. You always use the perfume because you miss it,” Ekhtuya comments on target.
Bianco grunted softly. The girl's words were not wrong. He did use Beatris's papum because only that scent could bind their relationship. He could not have Beatris. Only that scent always creeps in their relationship which is never far from the smoldering gaira.
“Let's continue the journey,” Bianco said later. He didn't want to talk about Beatrice to anyone, especially the girl he just met.
Ekhtuya said without asking much more. Bianco immediately called out to Andres who was now laughing out loud while carrying a pair of large iron knuckles in his hand. Looks like his co-worker has got his new toy.
Their journey to the wine distillery turned out to be smoother than expected. Several times Andres and Ekhtuya seemed to be alert because they met the torero with suspicious movements. But the torero seemed to be looking for trouble because they saw two Bianco bodyguards who were famous for being strong.
Finally they arrived at the wine shop. It is located on the outskirts of Nuchas. Acres of vineyards are wide. Skinny and half-mongering vineyards decorate the garden. As in previous years, this year's wine harvest also seemed to be concerning. Even so, Litch, the wine farmer subscribed to Bianco looks to keep working hard to cultivate the land that has turned barren.
“Bianco, you come,” greet Litch when he sees Bianco's entourage walking through his garden.
“I want to order one barrel of your wine, Litch,” Bianco said without further ado.
Litch seemed to sigh in despair. “I'm worried I'll let you down. But my crop is declining every year. Today I can only sell you half a barrel of wine. The rest is rotting and cannot be processed. Though my vine trees have dried up a lot, but from what remains only a little fruit that is worth fermenting,” said grim Litch.
“What can I do then. Manolette's horse-drawn carriage will pick up half a barrel of your wine later this afternoon. Then this is for the payment. Half price?” bianco asked as he counted the bronze pieces from his money bag.
“Can you give me more? You know my family has a lot of kids. But this little harvest made us trouble,” pinta Litch half begged.
Bianco looked at the middle-aged man deeply. He should not give more money when the wine he gets is only a little. There is a reason why the Manolette family is famous as the largest business holder in Nuchas. One of them is because they are very thorough about finances. At least their balance sheet is out of balance, so Bianco will be in big trouble. Moreover, the bar he held was the most flourishing venture among the others.
Even so, he also could not simply turn his head away from the difficulty of Litch. The wine farmer is a good man. He really worked hard for his family. Plus Litch's been nice to Bianco all along.
“Alright, just this once, Litch. I can't keep helping you,” said Bianco then added five bronze pieces to Licth.
The young man decided to cut his own salary. He did not need a lot of money because Beatris had provided a lot for him.
“Thank you, Bian. Among all the people of Nuchas, you are truly the best,” said Litch gratefully.
