Old Friend

“You're really alive, Bian,” sighs Andres as he hugs Bianco tightly.

“What happened to me?” bianco asked to find out about the news that was circulating about him.

“Told you that your horse-drawn carriage had an accident while returning from Manolette's residence. You're rumored to be dead and now the bar manager's been replaced with Miss Beatris' man. The guy is really annoying and very rude,” explained Andres after releasing his embrace.

“Despite that, I know you must still be alive somewhere. I'm sure because that Giyatsa woman also disappeared when you were rumored to be dead. I don't know exactly what happened, but I suspect Miss Beatris has already gotten rid of you because of the news of your closeness with Giyatsa's woman,” continued Andres continued to speak.

Bianco raised one hand to make Andres stop talking. “Now I understand. So no one knows if I managed to escape?”

“There is no clear evidence. But I think some people could have expected it. You still have to be careful, Bian. We were not even allowed to perform the mourning ceremony. Miss Beatris really hates you so much.”

Bianco took a deep breath. That information is certainly nothing new to him. From the beginning he knew that Beatris was going to throw it away. It was a waste of all the dedication and feeling that Bianco had poured out over these years. She did not see Bianco as a human. It is like something that can be thrown away at any time.

“So where do you live now, Bian? Do you have any money? Giyatsa's girl is with you, right?” cecar Andres disperse Bianco reverie.

“Come,” replied Bianco grimly. He then told Andres all his experiences since his horse-drawn carriage burned in the forest. How Ekhtuya had saved him and about some time ago those who lived together. Even so, now Bianco chose to leave because he could not stand the way Ekhtuya was so passionate to make it strong.

“But don't you love that woman?” just ask Andres.

Bianco was stunned for a while.

“I've known you for a long time, man. I know your heart doesn't change easily. Although in the end you have to experience this difficult thing, but I am grateful that you have opened your heart to others. That Giyatsa woman also seems sincere to you. Your misunderstanding may be due to differences in the way of life of two different tribes,” advice Andres fill the silence of Bianco.

“I know, Andres. I ... just lost grip. My life is full of uncertainty. I am not at all used to this kind of situation,” complained Bianco finally.

Bianco seemed to think for a moment. “I don't want to trouble you, Andres.”

“Oh, come. I live alone too. Besides, I'm rarely home because I'm more at the bar every night. It's not a big house. But I hope you can be comfortable there. At least until you recover that complicated mind of yours,” urged Andres.

“Thank you, Andres,” replied Bianco gratefully.

Both of them finally came to Andres' house in the city center. The house is small and has only one floor with one room. Before working as a bar guard, Andres was a former torero. But because of injury to the ankle, then his career as a torero must be stopped. Andres bought a small house in the city from his match money. Shortly after that the Manolette family actually recruited Andres as a bar guard. That's how Andres ended up being Bianco's partner.

“Leave as long as you need, Bian. We are old friends after all. I will certainly help you when in trouble,” Andres said after they arrived.

“Please keep my whereabouts a secret. I don't want to cause a fuss,” pinta Bianco then.

“Of course. You don't have to worry. I am the expert in keeping secrets,” Andres said proudly.

But Bianco felt otherwise. He doubted that Andres could keep his mouth. The former co-worker is as fond of gossiping with Adena. And if you remember again, his relationship with Ekhtuya also leaked because Andres who told him to come here and there if they had slept together. Finally Bianco sighed once more and made sure Andres to keep his mouth shut tight this time.

“I'm serious, Andres. Whoever it is, don't you ever tell me where I am,” Bianco said solemnly.

“Quietly,” Andres said with a grimace. “Then I have to go back to the bar, Bian. Consider it your own home,” close Andres later.

Bianco sighed one last time. Inevitably, he had to believe in Andres back then.
