Robbery

The room they entered was oval in shape with a stage in the middle. The audience seats are podium-shaped number of five steps, circular around the stage. Bianco chose one seat that was at the very back, close to the exit. Ekhtuya followed him and sat down next to Bianco. There was no lighting whatsoever on the audience podium. The area only looks dimly lit for the convenience of the average buyer who wants his identity hidden. The whole lamp just shines towards the stage.

A man who served as an auctioneer stood behind a small podium while carrying a hammer. He was wearing a maroon suit, complete with a tall matching hat and a plain white mask that covered half of his face. Next to the auctioneer, stood a shabby-clothed man with a thin face and an extremely thin body. Both the man's hands and feet were tied with iron chains with a large ballast. He bowed without energy, as if he had no more passion for life.

"This errant slave will be opened for a hundred pieces of bronze. Please raise your hands for those who are interested" exclaimed the auctioneer as he raised his hammer.

For a moment no one seemed to raise their hands. But after a few minutes, some people raised a wooden board with the seat number. These are the people who are interested in buying the slave.

"The human price here is really cheap," Ekhtuya's comment looked incisive.

"That's what happens when life is too poor in Nuchas. Those unlucky people ended up becoming slaves in this place. My fate was a little more fortunate to get a job from one of the leading families. But since I was fired, I could probably end up like that guy" Bianco said.

Ekhtuya just took a slow breath. He had never seen a city as cruel as Nuchas. Human life seems worthless in this place. The people of the Nuchas tribe were even more ruthless than the chogoru.

"If you have to trace the buying and selling of these people, it means you have to follow the buyers who are here. Not too difficult actually, because they are on average from the La Glendale tribe, an area bordering Nuchas," explained Bianco again.

Ekhtuya thought for a moment. "Why don't I know if the person I'm looking for is in this place, Bian. They seem weak. Does it make sense that a warrior of the zodiac comes from a slave?" ask Ekhtuya for sanctions.

"There is nothing wrong with trying to find out, Ekhtuya," he said hesitantly.

Ekhtuya let out a desperate breath. His job is getting harder and harder. Somehow he was able to complete his mission. Finally Bianco and Ekhtuya decided to follow the auction to completion. When the last slave is shown, suddenly someone hits Bianco from behind until he falls.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it" said the man, bowing slowly.

Bianco did not reply and could only feel alert. His feeling is uncomfortable. A few minutes passed until he realized that his money bag was gone! That guy was a thief.

"I have to go after that bastard" furious Bianco as he stood up from his seat and began to look for the dark-robed thief who had crashed into him earlier.

Ekhtuya followed Bianco from behind. However, finding people in dark places is not easy. Not to mention the average visitor wearing a uniform black robe.

"Damn it! All my money is there. What do we do?" bianco was full of anger.
