Torero Combat

After finishing his meal, Bianco finally followed Beatris to the arena of the torero. A black horse carriage was already waiting in front of the bar. Not many people had horse carriages in that place. Only the Manolette and Belmonte families can travel on this mode of transportation.

Horses roll down the streets of Nuchas. The already broken stone path was hollowed out in several places, making their journey by horse carriage always shake uncomfortably. Bianco tries hard not to get nauseous. Beatris seems to be doing well. The young lady seemed to have gotten used to this kind of journey.

Bianco threw his gaze out the window of the carriage. From there are old houses belonging to the inhabitants of Nuchas. The house building was half damaged and had many cracks, as if it could collapse at any time. Concernful conditions also appear from the clothes worn by the residents. Their clothes were worn out with faded and dirty colors.

Reportedly the city was once very prosperous. Bianco imagined the streets were filled with life. The buildings stood firm and glistened because of their gold and silver ornaments. The residents smiled happily with beautiful clothes that gave off a fragrant aroma. The shadow just flashed through Bianco's mind, with no control.

“You daydream what, Bian?” asked Beatris who was now looking at him while propped up by the chin.

“Nothing. I just want to take a look,” replied Bianco briefly.

“If I had not been born as the daughter of the Manolette family, maybe my fate would be the same as those women,” Beatris said as she pointed to the women in shabby dresses of the almost rotten fruit sellers.

“They will probably end up eating their own almost rotten merchandise,” Beatris continued later.

Bianco did not answer. He just stared out the window glumly.

“Although so, I cannot be grateful for being the daughter of the Manolette family. That's why I have to marry my father's chosen man. Our entire family was forced to marry into the Belmonte family. As if in this world no one else is worthy of us,” muttered Beatris full of bitterness.

Bianco did not answer. Carrian is a rough guy. Like most people of the Belmonte family, Carrian also has a grumpy and unsatisfied temperament. Beatris is a very cunning woman. That's how his family taught Beatrice.  The two couples actually fit in with each other. But Bianco still felt like having Beatris even though he knew, all the woman did was use it.

“What should we do when entering the arena? Do I have to take you? I want us to hug while Carrian is fighting. He should see us making out. Maybe it's too much if we kiss,” continued Beatris with his cunning plans.

Bianco took a deep breath. “Do as it pleases. I think my presence in that place was enough to anger Carrian. We don't have to do anything,” his proposal later.

Besides because the young man has a beautiful face, also because Bianco always obeyed his wishes without much protest. The other men who were with him always talked a lot. Especially Carrian. Her husband has a bigger ego than her body. Beatris had to teach him a lesson this time.

Finally, their journey reached their destination. A large arena with a half-destroyed dome welcomed the arrival of Beatris's horse-drawn carriage. Bianco got off first, then reached out his hand to help his young lady climb the steps of the horse-drawn carriage. The people who saw their arrival immediately crowded around and stared curiously.

It is no secret that the young lady of the Manolette family does have many men in her life. But the most famous is Bianco, the manager of the famous Bar DelMonte. It was none other than because Beatris did worry Bianco the most, even giving him an important position in one of the bars owned by his family.

Most of the spectators who were Carrian's supporters stared at Bianco with hatred. Bianco realised that his position would definitely make the atmosphere of the game that day uncomfortable. But that was Beatrice's goal.

They also walked into the arena. The crowd cheers the spectators welcome inside the stadium. Ten-meter-tall stands lined the arena. In the middle of the stadium, the arena with dry land stretched wide. The dust flies because of the wind and the movement of the torero against a large bull is dark. The bull is seen with one horn that has been broken. Scars were strewn across the bull's body and clearly, the bull had gone through many deadly fights.

Beatris got a seat in the main stands. A worker of the stadium drove their group to the best seats with soft sofa chairs that are provided for VIP spectators. Bianco stood behind Beatris as a bodyguard would. Beatrice pulled him to sit next to her.

“This is disrespectful, Miss. I can't sit with you,” muttered Bianco trying to turn down Beatris.

“This is an order, Bianco. Come here,” said Beatris firmly.

Bianco had no choice but to obey the orders of his young lady. He sat down next to Beatris and watched the game below. A burly torero is fighting a bull that looks rogue. Bianco recognized the torero. It was Carrian. The young man seemed to have not noticed his wife's arrival and was still focused on fighting the bull. Right now the two are looking intensely, preparing to attack after getting the right moment.

Moments later, the bull started to snort. A strong wind blew the ground under the bull's nose. One of his front legs scavenged the ground, preparing to lash out at his enemy. Carrian on the other hand, was already preparing with steady horses. A few seconds later, the bull actually ran towards Carrian brutally. The young man had already prepared for the attack and immediately dodged at the right moment.

Carrian caught the bull's horn while dodging and pulled it and hugged the bull's neck. With a powerful jolt, Carrian leaped onto the crazed bull's back. The bull stomped strongly, but Carrian kept his position sitting on the bull. The young man raised one fist and cheered triumphantly. It was then that Carrian saw his wife sitting with another man in the main stands.

And the pedestal of Carrian faltered. He was thrown off the back of the bull. His body was ejected so high and far away that it finally fell to a fall kissing the ground. The angry bull immediately took advantage of the situation. He came back to Carrian who was careless.
