Chapter 43.

Rex and Naomi were equally surprised. Even Rex was still. What did Rere say? Breaking up? What the hell does that mean? Did you hear me wrong? Rex in his heart.

“What did you say Re?” Rex looked towards Rere seriously.

“We'll just end our relationship. Bye Rex” Rere was about to step away but Rex immediately prevented. But Rex's hand was patched by Brian who was next to Rere.

“Hey, your hand Rex. This rere is now my girlfriend. We'll be engaged later. Since we are still in school then fiancee first.” Brian smiled knot.

Rex was silent in silence. He could not move a bit . Breath choked. Rex can only see Rere going in the gang by Brian and they're getting away. Naomi was confused by what happened. He's chasing Rere.

Almost getting into class. Naomi called Rere.

“Re, we need to talk” Naomi's face looks cold. Rere asked Brian to go to class first. And Brian went to class. Now it's just Naomi and Rere. Naomi brings Rere to talk alone behind the school. In the sense of the place being quiet then that was where the two of them spoke.

Naomi looked at Rere seriously and sharply. His face was cold and expressionless.

“What do you mean Re? Why break up with Rex? What are the problems and mistakes?” A sharp glint flashed in Naomi's eyes.

Rere looks expressionless. He looked straight at Naomi. The two girls looked at each other.

“Tak nothing. Just break up yeah break up.”

“But why all of a sudden? Isn't your relationship okay? Think of your words Re and go back to Rex.”

“What care you Naomi? Didn't my dad hurt Rex? Do I still have another face in front of Rex?”

“That your Papa is not you Re. Well, that Rex is my best friend. I thought about his feelings.”

“Cannot. Some of my parents are against my relationship with Rex. You said you were just a good friend and thought only of Rex's feelings. It's really nice of you Naomi. But don't you like Rex, Naomi?”

Naomi immediately stiffened her body after hearing Rere's words just now.

“You mean?”

“I can feel your gaze when I see Rex. I know how you feel. Even your cries when you see me and Rex doing kiss on my birthday, I know. Even since then I have realized it and already know everything Naomi.” Now Rere looked straight at Naomi. And Naomi did not budge nor could she answer.

“So Rere already knows” Naomi said in her own heart. These words could not be spoken directly to Rere. Naomi only looked at Rere in a stare and without a word.

“Jaga Rex Yes Naomi. Be happy you two. Me and Rex are over.”

After saying that, Rere stepped away leaving Naomi who was still silent without a word. When Rere stepped up and turned to the right, behind the building there was Rex apparently. Rere looked at Rex, and Rex looked at Rere. But the two did not talk to each other. Rere thought to himself, is it possible that Rex heard it all. But nevermind. Rere continued his steps past Rex. Rere immediately headed for class to get into his class.

Naomi is still silent. He was thinking. From behind the building Rex looked towards Naomi. Earlier in front of the gate he was still silent. And when Naomi sees Rere, Rex pursues her. Then follow Rere and Naomi to the back of the school. Where Rex heard everything the two girls said.

Rex's heart was touched by what Naomi did. So good is Naomi for thinking about her feelings and her relationship with Rere. Naomi has always been kind to him. But the fact that Naomi likes her is only known by Rex. All this time Rex was unconscious and didn't know it. Now when Rex finds out, he looks at Naomi with mixed feelings.

In a way, Rex still loves and loves Rere. But heartbreak and heartache due to Rere. On the other hand Naomi's best friend is always there for her, but Rex still has no feelings for her because all this time Rex only considers Naomi his best friend. He had no idea that Naomi would have feelings for him. Rex was confused.

The school bell rang indicating the time to enter and start school lessons. Judging by Rex, Naomi then immediately walked so Rex immediately stepped up and hid. Naomi rushed into her class. And shortly thereafter Rex also entered his class.

All students study in their own classes. Time passed until the break came. Now Rex and Rere have become strangers. They did not even say hello again every time they met. Rex stepped away and did not look back at Rere. Rere was now only able to stare at Rex with extreme guilt. But that's the best Rere thought. Now Brian's always around Rere. Even Jerry and Jenny accompanied them.

Rex stepped towards the school garden. He just felt the need to be alone. While reading a textbook. Rex sits where he used to be and Naomi is often together. Naomi's looking for Rex's class, but Rex isn't there. David takes Naomi to the cafeteria. Go both to the cafeteria. Eating together in the canteen. Just bribed his food three to four mouthfuls. Naomi stopped eating. David was talking to her. Naomi standing. David looked towards Naomi.

“Where to Naomi?” david looked astonished.

“I'm done. I'm first yeah David.”

“But your food is not finished Naomi.” David forbids Naomi from leaving.

“Do what else you take care of him. He's got Rere. Besides he's cured and out of the hospital, you don't have to wait for him or take care of him.” David started to protest. Since Rex went to the hospital, Naomi has no time with him. And Naomi often left him. David was jealous of course.

“Rex and Rere have broken up. I just want to cheer up Rex.”

“What!!! Breakup?” David was shocked of course. Because he just found out.

“Iya. I went yes.”

David said, Naomi has left David alone. David calls but Naomi is far away. David was upset.

“Sials. Naomi, why is it in your eyes that there's only Rex? Is there no me in your heart and mind?” David looked sad.

Naomi buys bread and juice boxes. He ran around looking for Rex. Finally Rex is found in the usual place where Rex and Naomi used to be together. Naomi smiled at Rex. He came closer and sat down next to Rex. Rex realized there was someone sitting next to him and he immediately turned his head as well. Apparently Naomi. Rex was a little awkward when he found out Naomi was sitting next to him. Rex knows how Naomi feels. But he was silent because Rex remembered Rere and Naomi's conversation earlier. Although Naomi hasn't admitted it but there's no way Rere would say that if it wasn't true.

“Rex, eat. You haven't eaten kan” Naomi gave her the bread and juice box she just bought. Naomi's words made Rex aware of her daydream.

Rex accepts. He still looks awkward especially when looking at Naomi's face, Rex has not dared.

“Why?” Naomi asked looking at Rex's astonishment.

“Tak what. Thanks Nao.” Rex ate the bread and drank the box juice. Naomi smiles.

“I'm worried about you Rex. I think it's worth comforting you because you just broke your heart.” Naomi plain. Just the moment it made Rex cough. He choked.

Panicked Naomi immediately patted Rex's back.

“Tak is okay, right? Be careful. Eat slowly. Drink try” Naomi said without knowing why Rex could choke.

Rex drank his juice box.

“Ehem ... already, I'm fine.”

Naomi sat back down and Rex immediately finished his bread and juice.

“Thank you Nao. You've been worried about me. But I'm fine. Don't think about Rere and our relationship. It's all over like Rere” said although Rex still can't accept. But there's no way he'd force Rere if Rere didn't want to be together anymore. He can only resign to Rere's decisions and choices.

There was sadness in Rex's eyes and Naomi could see could also feel it.

Rex then looks at Naomi full of question marks and stares at Naomi sharply.

“Nao...”.

“Hem.”

“Have you ever liked a guy? If there is, who is he?” Rex asked frankly and made Naomi round her eyes to look at Rex in shock.
