Chapter 73.

“Hamba doesn't know my lord either. Are we going in?”

Ahmed looks to Rex and waits for Rex's answer and decision.

Rex looked around, he did not answer. He saw that around the guesthouse there were some guards. It seems that in the guesthouse is not an ordinary person. After weighing and thinking, Rex finally thought of something and he conveyed it to Ahmed.

“We're back first. Let's get some people to keep an eye on this place. I have other ideas too. Let's go back to the palace.” Rex invited Ahmed to go with him.

Rex and Ahmed return to the palace. While in the guesthouse, Joe meets Mariana. He reported what he knew from Kiara. Mariana felt danger would come to them.he asked Joe to immediately prepare his men. They probably need all the men. And tell Joe to kill himself Paul who they think is alive. At the palace, Rex and Ahmed also begin to devise a plan. They act fast. All suspected spies were immediately secured by Ahmed and arrested. By nightfall, Mariana had ordered Joe and his men to attack. They're about to kill Paul before Paul tells the truth. Though they do not know that Paul is already in the grave, alias already dead. And they also don't know all the spies and their minions have been arrested and imprisoned. Unexpectedly, Joe and his men about 7 people came sneaking into the palace at night. They had no idea there was going to be a trap set by Ahmed and Rex.

Joe checked all over the place, but hasn't found where Paul is. Kiara once said that the room that never opens and is always closed is a room in the northern palace that is rather at the end, so that's where Joe and his men. Without the slightest suspicion, Joe immediately entered the room that was suspected to have been Paul. But when they entered inside they only found an empty room.

“Sials. There's nothing. Let's go.” Joe's orders to his men.

But once they came out of the room how shocked, and his men had died three men who were told to stand guard outside. Joe looked outside so many of the bodyguards and there were even Rex and Ahmed.

“Job. It's a trap.” Said Joe who was just sober. But Joe and 4 of his men have been surrounded, they are cornered. All of Rex and Ahmed's bodyguards pointed guns at them. There were swords, spears and pistols as well.

Joe and 4 of his men can't wiggle.

“You just give up. If you give up, then your lives will be saved.” Ahmed said to Joe.

Joe became furious, he also told his men to act even though the stakes must be his life.

“Strike only and we die together.” Joe said to his men.

It was a fight that was not balanced. Rex's bodyguards had about 20 men deployed and Joe had only five with his men. They fought and used their weapons. Hit and kick each other too. Even Joe and his men are no ordinary people. They are good at fighting. Some of Rex's and Ahmed's bodyguards have been uprooted and wounded, some of them even dead.

Rex started frowning watching the one in front of his eyes. Ahmed went into the fight. Ahmed and Joe fought each other with their bare hands. Ahmed kicks and Joe kicks back. Ahmed hits and Joe hits back. Both are equally great. When the fist is laid by Ahmed directly on the field by Joe, so a strong kick received in the stomach of Ahmed. Ahmed fell down and coughed up blood. But Ahmed again attacked Joe.

Rex saw the situation started not good. He takes out Kiara, Rex codes his bodyguard to bring Kiara to his place. Two guards immediately complied.

Joe's men eventually all killed, so that only Joe left. He is still fighting Ahmed. Even Ahmed managed to punch Joe in the face which made him stagger. Joe clenched his hand about to strike back, but Rex's voice prevented him.

“Stop ... or he dies!!” threaten Rex who made Ahmed and Joe stop fighting. Joe saw Kiara. He can't move anymore either.

“Kiara..” Joe mentioned Kiara's name. Kiara is tied up and is being held up by a gun to her head.

Joe finally knelt down, he gave up. Kiara is his weakness then Joe is no longer fighting back. Rex smiled at Joe who had given up.

“Good.” Rex smile. Ahmed approached Joe.

“Who sent you here to attack?” ahmed looked at Joe. Joe saw Ahmed but he remained silent. Ahmed's big, stocky body is just like Joe's. Ahmed asked her but Joe was silent. Ahmed also started beating Joe. Joe feels the pain, but he doesn't fight because there's Kiara in Rex's hands.

“Come say.” Ahmed is back.

“Please let go of him Your Highness.” Kiara begged.

Rex looked at Kiara.

“Good. But tell me who's behind all of you? If not then you two will bear it.” Rex said very coldly. His life was twice almost killed and Hasan Mustapa was also once almost killed so Rex's cold attitude was formed because they were cruel first.

“I'll say it, but release Joe.” first Kiara bids.

“No Kiara. Don't!” Joe exclaims.

Kiara knows that Joe is very loyal to Madam Mariana. But at the moment the stakes of their lives.Kiara had no other choice.

“Say...” Rex told Kiara.

“We're all just submissives. We have our lord. Maybe you all forgot who he was. Yet he would always remember how the palace people treated him cruelly. He lost a child and was expelled from the palace. You are all cruel to him . He just wants you all to feel what he already feels.” Kiara looked burning as she said that. He understood what Madam Mariana was feeling. Because of the feeling of being dumped on the streets and suffering on the streets can still be remembered by Kiara when she was a child living on the streets.

“Who do you mean?” Rex was astonished to hear Kiara's words.

“Yang noble madam Mariana.” Kiara. All who heard remained silent. Even Ahmed was silent. Many do not know yet but they seem to have heard the name. Only Rex was confused and had no idea what he meant. It's Joe's use to escape with Kiara.

Joe throws a diversion gas shaped like a small bomb but not a bomb. The gas is emitting smoke. Joe pulls Kiara and they run away. As Rex and the others were confused by the atmosphere of smoke that had not disappeared as well, Kiara and Joe had already escaped. After the smoke cleared, they realized that Joe and Kiara had escaped.

“Sial.” Rex.

“Tuanku.” Ahmed's approaching Rex.

“How now? they've escaped my lord."

“Immediately order all the guards and guards to patrol around the palace looking for the figure of the two of them. And the others take it out of the palace, we're going to the guesthouse last night. I'm sure that's who they mean. Before far, fast acting.”

“Good Milord.”

Ahmed immediately carries out Rex's orders.
