Stuck On Here

Stuck On Here
Chapter 16: It's getting sickening

George shriveled in surprise, still focused on looking at the place appointed by Andreas, there was nothing but Andreas's neatly arranged belongings inside there.

"There's nothing, sir." Tukas George be careful.

Andreas smiled, understanding some of the scenarios that would happen next.

He just needs to be alert and reduce fear. His fear will be easily known. And that perverted illusion would continue to haunt him as well as incite his thoughts.

He must also be good at distinguishing between illusion and reality.

This perverted illusion was so sickening that Andreas was upset, He stepped inside the room. Attempting to ignore the strange creature displayed in the corner of his room, acting as if there was nothing but himself and George.

It was black, with a faint but rough wrinkled face. His chest that was like breathing had made Andreas shudder in horror. But he convinced himself that it was just an illusion. He glanced at it with the tail of his eyes, it was still in place, as if the room was where he lived.

"Damn it!" Andreas Umpat.

George who felt the air in the room was a little different also felt anxious. Lourch has been gripping lately, he thought. He was still standing in front of Andreas' table. Do not dare to look around, but tapa put up a pose of sprightly body and flat face.

Once more. Andreas glances. Still there. Stay loyal to his place. His chest was still blooming despite looking sickening to Andreas. Dark as just a shadow but make the air around as if stifling.

If you say you don't believe things that smell mystical. Then just ignore it, if you keep watching it then he will continue to pay attention to you.

Jeremy's words suddenly flashed through his mind. He glanced at George who was still putting a swift attitude in his place. Andreas saw clearly the twisted, strange look on his face.

The problem is this isn't a ghost, it could have killed me. Andreas thought in a frenzy. He tried as calmly as possible.

Ignore me.

Andreas shuddered at the strange hum. Ignore. He tried but could not.

Ignore me, don't look.

Again. The sound as if it was sent straight towards his brain made his head buzz strangely. It a swearing in the heart.

Ignore me.

Ignore me, please,

Don't Look, Don't Look,

It's torturous, it's torturous,

I want to go, please,

Ignore me, please,

Don't torture me

Also...

The sounds buzzed more and more often and more hazy in a chaotic manner in Andreas' brain. He ignored, trying to ignore even though his head hurt because of the hum. Although he did not understand what the hum meant, he tried to ignore it.

Slowly but surely, in a faint manner, the shadow disappeared like a scattering of paper torn apart by water. Andreas sighed in relief, after that gripping atmosphere.

Really go? Ignore it? Andreas' mind was still wandering about digesting what had just happened. At first glance he glanced at George the look on his face began to improve.

"George..."

The called one approaches. Ready listening.

"Good, Sir."

Lucas knew that even if he didn't believe in things like some kind of fantasy story or a joke about supernatural powers, he would have to be involved by now. Because hearing Floren's story about Felman's name on Ray Stuart's list, it must be dangerous, Lucas thought.

It is from his thinking that he is now here. Between the old bookshelves of the Felman family. Lucas skimmed each book with his fingertips, bringing one up if interested but returning it when he saw the contents that did not match what he was looking for.

Lucas paused for a moment, his gaze fixed toward the endless line. Although often cleaned, this place is a little dusty. Lucas was never interested in coming to this place, until now.

"Rolland," Lucas calls one of the workers who used to escort him or rather watch him at Louis's behest.

Rolland approached, saluting with a slight bow to his back.

"So, what's the Master?"

Lucas pointed to the bookshelf at the end, "What is an ancient book? I mean, books are sort of... It wasn't about politics or economics," Seeing Rolland's unconvinced facial features, Lucas knew his conjecture was correct.

Lucas walked up to the bookshelf followed by Rolland behind him. Observe one by one the ranks of book covers made of animal skin. The books are not titled. Lucas was a little confused. He picked up one of the books confidently and then opened the middle of the—part that had more information.

A smile spread across his lips, this was the book he was looking for.

He turned around, stepped past Rolland who just silently did not comment, however Lucas was also Alan's son, Louis' nephew, that means he is also the host here.

It might help a little Lucas thought as he closed the door.

He stopped his steps as he passed through the door of Louis's study. Rolland was still silent as usual. Lucas breaks his intention to enter, a maid approaches him and tells him that a guest is waiting for him.

Lucas frowned, "Have him wait a minute, I'll come."

The maid nodded past from her place. Lucas himself hurried slightly towards his room keeping the book he had just picked up under the pillow. She cuts herself in front of the mirror, ensuring her appearance is neat.

"Rolland, just let anyone in my room." Said Lucas while fixing his shirt collar. Let Rolland comb his hair deftly.

Lucas smiled with satisfaction to find the results of Rolland's work that counted perfect. He stood up, then stepped out. Rolland himself went to the left corridor, towards Louis's study.

Bad smells puffed up, tickling Lucas' sense of smell. He covered his nose with his palm.

What's the illusion of this sickening sulrek? Or just my feelings? Lucas was upset. He continued his steps towards the living room.

Someone's waiting for Lucas. A lady. Two guys. Lucas recognizes one of them as Valerie but not the other. He approached.

"Vallery?"

The girl called turned her head, smiling sweetly.

"Lucas, I actually wanted to see you from yesterday, but... Lord Willson said it's better not, so I'm only here now, with Tafa," Valerie pointed to the girl sitting next to him earlier, "Say Miss Floren is coming with Lord Willson, she said, I think she likes Miss Floren" Valerie said as she shrugged her shoulders.

Lucas simply responded with a witty smile, then sat down on the sofa opposite. He looked at Tafa who was looking down deeply. It seems there is an emergency there.

Just as Lucas wanted to open his voice, the front door opened with the entrance of three others. Andreas Willson, Kendrick Hanbert and Floren Katana.

Tafa stood up to hug Floren which even made the others sculpt in shock except Valerie who still put on the usual expression as possible.

"Auntie, Tafa..."
