Stuck On Here
Chapter 7: cursed

Floren was still staring at the door of the reading room in his house. With a sense of doubt and fear he raised his hand about to hold the ancient-style door handle, just as the sound of someone thwarting his intentions. Floren turned his head, Ray was already standing near the turn of the corridor with his pale face. Floren gulped his saliva with great difficulty as he felt a cold aura around the man.

Ray walked over expressionlessly, but it still scared Floren half to death, his brain sending a danger signal, He immediately thought of the right words to fight the man in front of him.

"What's up, Miss Katana?" Ray asked while holding the reading room door handle, Floren shifted a little from his place, trying hard to put the plate face despite the fear spread all over his body, making his knees seem limp. Luckily the typical Lourch West long dress she wore covered her entire leg.

He looked up at Ray's pale face. Then he opened his mouth, "Sorry, Lord. I should have asked you that, you're just a guest here" Floren tried to make his voice as loud as possible.

Ray leaned forward, brought his face closer to Floren, making Floren desperately hold his breath. Her hands clasped tightly onto the cloth of the dress she was wearing.

The pale face smiled despite looking creepy, "Masa?" He said while looking at Floren's amber eye bead.

"Sorry, Lord. It was disrespectful," Floren reprimanded his body, taking a few steps back, cursing in the heart of this man in front of him.

While Ray straightened his body again, smoothing his collar in style, "Really? Isn't it in East Lourch? Your face, like that, looks like it's cursing at me,"

Floren growled resentfully clenching his palms, "Sorry, Lord. It's in the West, everything's different. Shouldn't you know? Aunt Kathe once said you were a great man," ledek Floren with a million resentments in her heart.

Ray smiled sinisterly, approaching again towards Floren, "There is no need to be too stiff with me, sweet" Ray said in a voice like a whisper. Floren's eyes were rounded together with his tightly clenched hands. Ray smiled sinisterly and then distanced his body again.

"Didn't Miss Katana want to enter the reading room? Let's go in, sweetie," said Ray again as he turned the old-fashioned door handle.

Floren growled, feeling an increasingly angry upset. He took a deep breath before saying sarcastically, "Sorry, Lord." He said emphasizing each syllable, "Nona Katana, this noble with mixed blood from the West and East is very ethical, I will go to Lourch Book Hall. Please enter by yourself, excuse me" Continue with a bowing motion at the end, then pass by stomping his feet.

Ray smiled sinisterly with intent and then closed the big oak door again and passed from there.

Floren walked towards Lourch Book Hall in annoyance. It was still clearly reflected in his eyes that terrifying pale face. He stomped his feet into the paving street, the white pantofel shoes he was wearing made quite a loud noise. Luckily no one was around. He grumbled and cursed Ray with anger.

"Basic Stupid! Don't know the rules! Lousy men! You idiot! You idiot! Goddamn bum! He took over my house, you brash!" Get upset hard.

"Hey, Miss!" Someone patted Floren's shoulder making him squeak in shock, turning his head, "What, bo—— bottom" His eyes widened to find someone else behind him. He was embarrassed, saying an apology.

Andreas just smiled amusedly looking at it, his eyes winking as Floren still lowered his head in embarrassment. The two people behind the wall of the tax office nodded, pretending to justify the shoelaces by the roadside towards the Book Hall.

"What's the matter, Miss? Oh yeah, introduce my name, Andreas Willson, what's your name?" Andreas asked as he reached out to shake.

Floren shook Andreas' hand at a glance and took off, "Floren Katana, just call Flo," he replied softly still holding the shame to no avail. He thought that there was no one else there, making him let out his annoyance just like that.

Lucas and Kendrick arrive next to Andreas. Kendrick watched Floren who was still down while Lucas was ordinary.

"There's no shame, Miss Katana, let's just say I didn't see what you were doing" Andreas said, trying to avoid sarcasm.

Floren just nodded then raised his face, opened his mouth to speak, but was restrained when Lucas opened his voice first.

"Come, Andrey we're in. Miss Katana? Want to go to the Book Hall?"

Floren opened his mouth to speak but his voice seemed to be stuck in the esophagus at last he just nodded in response.

"I, yes. Em, can you not call me Miss Katana?, just call me Flo, or if it's not unusual, Miss Floren doesn't, uh I mean no problem,"

Andreas tried to hold back his laughter hearing Floren's disheveled sentence. Lucas nudged Andreas' arm telling him to stop, making Andreas snort violently.

"Ah, what's with Katana calling? Miss Flo?" ask Kendrick fishing.

Floren stared briefly at Kendrick's silver bead, "Em, I'm not used to the Katana name even though it's a surname," he said.

"And that pale bastard also called me Katana!" he continued in his heart. He bit his lower lip nervously. Then walking towards the bookshelf is just a diversion.

Andreas, Lucas and Kendrick are all at one table. In the corner of the room with a high shelf makes them not easy to see from the entrance.

"I heard him cursing at someone earlier," Andreas said opening his voice, "Bad man! You idiot! And, I don't remember everything clearly, I think he cursed Miss Katherine's guest." she continued.

"You mean?" Kendrick asked.

"Andrey means, Floren doesn't, doesn't know a lot of people in the West, there's no way he's cursing people here. If so, who is being talked to by him? The Western Lourch man knows the ethics of getting acquainted with new people, and he clearly berates Ray Stuart. That means he doesn't like it at all, the guy," Lucas said of his opinion.

Kendrick mangosteen understands. His right hand was busy flipping through the pages of the book, just a diversion so as not to be pushed out by the librarian Hall. They chose the Book Hall as a place because they saw Floren walking there, there was no other choice, they followed the girl and heard and saw what the girl was doing on the street.

Andreas stood up, making Kendrick stare in his direction.

"I have to make sure the girl, if she's not here for free we're following her," Andreas said and then passed from there leaving Lucas and Kendrick.

After Andreas moved away between the bookshelves, he moved his chair closer to Lucas.

"Hey, Luke. I think if we match them this will be interesting," Kendrick said along with amused puckiness.

Lucas pushed Kendrick's shoulder slowly, before chuckling, "He's gonna kill you!"

"Yes, I know. I don't know what kind of woman is good for Andrey anyway" Kendrick said in a stylized manner as if thinking out loud

"That wine, whisky, bren——"

"Are you crazy? You idiot!" sergeant Kendrick was astonished, staring at Lucas.

"You said you fit in with Andrey, just get that." Lucas's original pretext. Makes Kendrick snort annoyed.

"Can you not play around? You're twenty-three years old? You're a Felman, a lot of women want to stand next to you!"

"Then what? I'm just the third son, you're the same as Uncle Louis," Grunts Lucas as he hits Kendrick on the shoulder with a scroll of clear-covered archives.

Kendrick chuckled softly, then cleared his throat and tidied his seat as he watched Andreas walk towards them, "That girl is still here?"

Andreas nodded, "It seems like he does know something but doesn't understand it" Andreas said as he sat down and opened the page of a thick book before him.

"So I saw him in a row of ancient books, looking for something"
