Stuck On Here

Stuck On Here
chapter 2: Lesson

The wind blows breeze through the leaves of trees. Fly some dry leaves until they fall to the ground. The moving clouds that usually decorate the sky do not exist, some have gone away to the North, some have gone, now Lourch's sky is only decorated with fine white, fine-grained clouds that cover some of the sun but do not make the light dim.

People pass in the street. Doing their own activities, some of them just sit chatting in chairs provided on the edge of the paving streets or city parks. A couple of kids pulled up their mother's clothes and asked for ice cream.

Valerie walked gracefully among everyone there. While guiding her basket bike with Wynie, her ladyboy, was at the back. Valerie continued walking towards the city park. At first he rode his bike but because the road was too crowded then He led him. His eyes were watching everyone who was there. Everything was going on as usual, only one different face they had, the face that held the anxiety was clearly visible in Valerie's sharp eyes.

"Wynie?" Call Valerie to her approaching lady.

"What's wrong Miss?"

"Em, no, it's just that I feel like the people here are a little weird, maybe" Valerie said, as several people clasped and greeted them.

"Maybe it is, Miss. Let's just get on with it,"

Valerie was also said to lead her bike again to the city park that did not look crowded as usual. There are only a few children who whine for cotton candy, ice cream, and so on, the wishes of children.

Valerie chose to sit under the leaves of the Kiara umbrella tree, so that the sunlight did not hit her directly. Wynie chose to sit in another chair. Valerie looked at everyone's faces, not all were anxious there were still some who looked calm and relaxed.

"Everything's quiet, right? I think I was too much" Valerie muttered softly as she ate the ice cream Wynie had just bought for her.

"A too calm attitude can bring a big storm,"

Valerie turned her head, Selena, one of her female friends, was already sitting next to her with vanilla ice cream. Enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of Lourch. Valerie didn't say much, letting Selena sit there. While Wynie was just watching.

"Selly, what do you mean by 'big storm'?," asked Valerie after the two had been silent for quite some time. Selena turned her head, looked at Valerie's amber colored bead and laughed blandly. He stood up to throw his ice cream in the trash and sat down next to Valerie.

"I mean a big storm, like. The attitude of these people, there and all that brought about a great storm, in the sense of trouble. Being calm does not mean congratulations, but anxiety sometimes makes us more alert and alert to what will happen in the future. But it's not that easy, Miss," Selena paused for a second her sentence, turning her head towards Valerie who was still listening to every word from her mouth, "Ixious or calm, both of them can kill you, there is no right or wrong both can be right if we step according to the rules that exist then we are safe but not always so. Both can be wrong if we turn the road that makes us lost,"

"But getting lost doesn't mean going the wrong way" Valerie cut in the middle of what Selena responds to with a smile. He continued his sentence.

"The point is if you're too calm or anxious it'll get you in trouble, don't get too carried away by the mood or emotions, because you could be in a big storm,"

Valerie was still silently trying to digest Selena's words. His amber eyes were silent watching the people around him, some chatting on park benches or streets. Some are just walking, hawker traders are busy serving small children who buy their merchandise. Grocery shops in the faintest corners of the city from where it looks deserted.

"I understand" he said later.

"Not to be too serious, this is just a little extra lesson, we just have to be vigilant, maybe. Storms can come at any time, and we have to be ready, right?"

"Selly, can you not use the word Storm sometimes your choice of words makes me a little confused to interpret it." Valerie protested, then walked to throw the rest of her ice cream in the trash. Wynie is still busy chatting with her fellow waitress, Valerie does not recognize her so she just let it go.

"I don't like to look for the meaning of figurative words like a big storm, which you say, actually don't like it but can't" Valerie said as she tidied up the edges of her dress.

"I know, I'll try. All right, what exactly happened in Lourch? I don't understand, you know something?" Selena asked while tucking her messy haircut in the wind. Her blond hair is tied up in the back and then dropped to the left. Makes it look sweet.

"I don't know, but lately it's been a little weird, hasn't it? I guess I'm the one who feels that way,"

"Yes, it's weird." Selena Mumbles. The breeze blew but did not feel soothing. There was a slight warm feeling that the wind had brought just now. Low fohn winds. Valerie was busy playing the fringe of her dress in the form of lace that and spread to the waist connecting with a small ribbon resembling a belt. While Selena just silently watched everyone who passed by and passed by.

"Alright, I have to go Edward will look for me later," Selena said as she stood up and tidied up the dress she was wearing. Giving a smile to Valerie who replied with a nod.

"Wynie?" Call Valerie after her.

Wynie who heard the call from the Miss immediately went to end the conversation with her friend. He approached Valerie who was already standing up to allow her slightly messy hair braids.

"What's up, Miss? Are you going home yet?" Wynie asked politely, while helping Valerie justify the braid position of her hair.

"Yes,"

But now he feels lazy to do anything. Finally he just stayed on the balcony observing the decoration of the pillars there. Occasionally his head looked downwards, in case anyone or anyone entered Felman's mansion.

"Everything is boring" he walked straight through the hallway he had been through to get to the balcony. Still doing the same thing, observing each inch of the wall as if the wall had its own charm for it.

Lucas arrived at his doorstep. His right hand held the door handle about to open the big brown door. Before Rolland, the front guard of the mansion called out to him. Lucas.

"What's up, Rollland?" Lucas asked to take off the door handle he had just been holding. Turning his body towards Rolland who lowered his head respectfully.

"There, Mr. Andreas and Mr. Kendrick in front of the Young Master, they said they wanted to meet" Rolland said politely. Then turned around leaving Lucas who was still tidying up some of his suit buttons.

Lucas walked through the corridor to the living room. Andreas and Kendrick sat on the sofa waiting for his arrival. On the glass table covered with synthetic cloth a porcelain teapot and several tea cups lined up neatly and arranged aesthetically. Lucas went down the stairs quickly. He immediately followed his friend to sit on the sofa.

"Oh, Young Master Felman. I thought you were dead" Kendrick said as Lucas landed his ass on the soft couch. Lucas simply returned the joke with a witty smile of his and took a piece of biscuit that had been prepared by the maid.

"What's up, you guys here?" Ask Lucas.

"Hooo, you're kicking us out? Patience is Master we chat for a while," cried Andreas who greeted the laughter of the three. Kendrick took one of the cups with green tea and sipped it slowly, then placed it again on the table.

"No Wine?" Andreas asked, interrupting. Lucas called one of the maids who happened to pass by and told him to get him a bottle of wine and a glass. He himself continued his chatting activities with Kendrick and Andreas.

"How are you, Lucas?" Andreas asked open the conversation.

"I'm fine, what about you guys?" Lucas asked back while taking another piece of biscuit. Just when a maid who had been told to take Wine came and put a bottle of wine and a few glasses.

"I'm fine, nobody's worried, " said Andreas as he took one of the glasses and poured the wine in half.

"How's your fiancee, Ken, what's her name? Lvya?" Now it was Andreas' turn to ask, after taking a small sip of wine.

Kendrick turned her head and grimaced a little, "Livya, she's fine, I mean our relationship is fine. You don't drink too much Andreas" Kendrick warned.

"What's? I'm not that weak, I'm used to drinking wine, drinking a little won't make me drunk" Andreas argued. He gulped down the remaining wine in his glass. And put the glass back on the table. Leaning his back to the sofa with both hands outstretched.

Silent.

No one opened the conversation until Lucas' voice broke the silence they had just made.

"How are you, Askafh? I heard she's getting married to the Guardian Lord's daughter, is that right?"

Kendrick nodded while Andreas just kept quiet, "How about we ride? When was the last time we rode? I mean riding together?" bargain Kendrick.

Lucas shook his head, Andreas was still silent. So Kendrick went quiet and ate the biscuits while sipping a little of his green tea. Wine is only in the drink Andreas. Lucas hasn't touched anything but a few biscuits.

"Do you think there's anything strange?" Lucas asked after thinking for a while, staring at his friend's face in turn.

Kendrick put on a confused face as well as Andreas.

"Squeer how do you mean? Strange state of Lourch city now? If that's I don't know I think it's a little strange, just a little." exclaimed Andreas interjected. Then pour the wine back into the glass, and gulp it.

"Indeed a little bit, I don't know what's going on? But it doesn't seem like a big thing" Kendrick continued afterwards.

Lucas only thought silently before saying again, "It's precisely because we don't think it's a big thing that could be more than he thought, right?" lucas comments while raising his green tea cup.

"Yes, there's a point in your words Luke, this could be a big thing" Andreas replied to Lucas' comments. The three were just silent and then back to talk until noon came and the two said goodbye because they felt they had been there long enough.

"I guess I'm the only one who thinks so, apparently they are, too,"
