Suddenly, I Became A Wife Of Lecturer

Suddenly, I Became A Wife Of Lecturer
[Part 27.1]

At the Harisdarma residence, the family was relaxing together enjoying Ice Syrup and cut fruit in the dining room while waiting for their guests to arrive.

All the family members who are currently gathered are a conspiracy, including Sofia –the youngest member who just joined at breakfast this morning for listening to the conversation of his family members and of course minus Kanaya at that time.

“How come you're back, Mom?” ask Mr. Haris on his return the wife who just contacted his third daughter.

“So his friend who raised, but already sidelined to let me go home,” replied Mom and joined together to sit together enjoy a fresh snack.

“Bu, does Teh Naya really want to be married? Kan is still in college,” asked Sofia while eating Melon with a fork.

“InsyaAllah, if you are already his soul mate,” replied Mother.

“Iya, keep abis it you,” sahut Dhika chimed.

“Ish~ Brother, Sofi is still a child. Rule Abang first, it should even be before Teh Naya too,” Sofia replied.

“Later you miss Abang again,” replied Dhika.

“Euwh~ Ogah!! Never yes,” Sofia rebutted.

“Hah~ Teteh also wanted the first Dhika who stopped from home, Dek,” said Teh Dita.

“Gak on a very similar seneng me. Udahlah, mending I just unplug,” said Dhika like a person scooping and moving from his chair.

“Where are you, Dhik?” ask Dita Tea.

“Soon!” answer Dhika.

“Bagus~ do not have to go back, except bring Chicken Porridge,” Teh Dita ledek.

“Teh, if that means you tell me not to come home until tomorrow morning. It was lunch where there was Chicken Porridge, which is really!” sahut Dhika's.

“Terdenah,” Teh Dita replied as if she did not want to know.

In the midst of the brother-sister feud, the sound of the bell intruded them.

“Open the door there,” Teh Dita.

“Ish!!” hissing Dhika yet he still went to open the door.

Dhika walked out to open the gate. “Who?” dhika asked a man.

“Is this really Mr Harisdarma's house?” ask the man.

“Iya,” Dhika reply. “Sorry what do you need?” tanyakanya.

“I Adhiandra, her son Mother Ranti,” replied the man named Adhi.

Dhika watched the male guest before her from top to bottom. ‘Two candidates are Nay, already like Bang Rio,’ murmured Dhika before letting in.

Adhi stops his car in front of the house whose address matches that shown on his GPS screen and this house is actually right next to the house of his student guidance, if you remember it looks like this is the same house when he drove his mother to Arisan.

‘Ch! So from then on all these matchmaking matters began,’ murmured Adhi.

He got out of the car, but instead visited the house next to – which he assumed as the home of his student guidance– and glanced briefly before returning and then ringing the bell.

Before long the door opened, a man came out and asked her, “Who?”

“Is this really Mr Harisdarma's house?” tanya Adhi made sure what her goal was right.

“Iya,” replied the man. “Sorry what do you need?” tanyakanya.

“I Adhiandra, her son Ibu Ranti,” replied Adhi introduced herself.

Adhi knitted his brows, staring uncomfortably at the man who was watching him from top to bottom. Not to mention the indistinct mutterings of the man who felt like he was being ridiculed, impolite!

“Please enter, Mas,” said the man invited him to enter the house.

“Ya, thank you,” said Adhi.

Adhi was asked to wait and sit in the living room, while the man was back in –seeming to call his parents. Before long the middle-aged man and woman came out, then greeted him. They shake hands and introduce themselves.

“So this is his eldest son Pak Efendi? How to come by yourself?” ask Mr. Haris.

Okay, the introductions started.

What age? What job? Live where? ___???

Question after question was not stopped by Mr. Haris to Adhi, until the wife came while carrying a drink and snack.

“Pak, 'already,” said Ibu Nurlela to her husband. “Nak Adhi, this is drunk the same meal first,” bargain Ibu Nurlela.

“Thank you, Mom,” said Adhi and drank Ice Syrup to loosen her dry throat.

“So at this age Nak Adhi is still single? Never been married at all?” ask Nurlela's mother this time.

Still not finished viewers, continued session two.

“Iya, Mom. But not also I have never been married at all, I will never get married –but failed at that time,” replied Adhi but the tone of voice and the look on her face sounded uncomfortable when discussing it.

Bu Nurlela who realized it, he did not discuss the topic again. “Then please continue the conversation comfortably, I want to go back again. Excuse me,”ucap Ibu Nurlela pamit.

Nurlela's mother entered her room and picked up her cell phone, and she contacted her third daughter.

“Waalaikumsalam, where are you Neng?” askanya after her call was lifted. “Kalo gitu hunted yes, has come because his guest,” he added. “Ya, be careful.”

Shortly after that Mr. Haris entered. “Bu, please prepare clothes for ngajar,” said the husband.

“Loh, what time is it? Father wants to leave. What is Nak Adhi? Time left alone,” said Mother.

“Ya~ he came too,” replied Mr. Haris lightly.

“You need to know Sir? Do not macem-macem yes,” Bu Nurlela reminded her husband.

“Emang Mr what, Bu?” asked Mr. Haris felt he had nothing wrong.

“Eee~ the Father, do not pretend not to want. When Rio first came, he almost failed to marry Dita because of being bullied by the Father,” said Ibu Nurlela reminded her husband.

“Ya~ must Mr. test it, so that our child does not choose the wrong partner,” replied Mr. Haris defend.

“Yes already, it's up to you. Here,” replied Ibu Nurlela resigned and gave a change of clothes for her husband.

“Father road first yes, Salamualaikum,” said Mr. Haris.

“Waalaikumsalam,” Bu Nurlela replied and kissed her husband's hand.

Kanaya soon returns home because she was called by her mother while still in Jani's boarding house, now she is on her way home with Oj-Ol.

Who the hell is coming? What kind of person should all his family gather? Is Grandma the same Grandpa who came? But yes, until the same secrets he.

While he was busy thinking about and guessing who the guests were, his phone rang and it was a call from his mother again.

“Halo Assalamualaikum, what's up Bu?” ask Kanaya. “This is again on the way home kok,” he replied. “Iya Bu.”

Kanaya put her phone back in the bag. “Bang, can you please be a bit spattered? You see I am again awaited,” pinta Kanaya on Oj-Ol riders.

“Iya Mbak, ready!” jawan the Oj-Ol Brother and the bike.

Kanaya finally arrived in a few minutes later, other than because the point when it was not too far from home.

“Thank you, Ma'am,” said the brother Oj-Ol when receiving the fare.

“Yes, equally Bang,” replied Kanaya and she walked into her house.

Kanaya almost hit a car parked near the gate, if she is not careful her rush-to get in to see the person who is visiting her house.

“Whose car is it? Parking mepet very same door,” grumbled Kanaya while watching the black car. Then he seemed to realize something, “Feelings like he'd seen, this car?” ask him to yourself.

But Kanaya did not linger there, she closed the gate again and walked into her house. But as he passed the car, Kanaya saw his father.

“Pak where to go?” kanaya asked and kissed the back of his hand.

“Mesjid, abis it fajar,” replied Mr. Haris.

“Jam like this? Getol highly Pak,” ledek Kanaya.

“Must be, the teacher will be an example to his students,” replied Mr.

“Iya dah~ Pak Gur ..” Kanaya speech cut off when he saw the figure behind the Father, he was surprised –so did the person. “Loh? Kok Mr ___.” Kanaya thought hard to speak, but it felt like the name she was about to call and was already at the end of her tongue could not come out.

“This is Adhiandra, his son Ibu Ranti and Pak Efendi. You introduced her parents?” ask Mr. Haris. Kanaya can only nod in response, her tongue is too funny to talk –while in front of her is the Lecturer who still does not know what his purpose is to come to his house. “Nak Adhi, this is my third daughter –Kanaya,” added Mr. Haris this time introducing his daughter.

“Ah Yes, Sir,” Pak Adhi replied briefly. He was just as thinking, what was happening right now.

“You can meet again later, now the same Mr. Nak Adhi want to go first. Dah ya Neng, get ready there,” said Mr. Haris and go –followed by Mr. Adhi behind.

Kanaya was still fixated on her Father and Lecturer, she was still digesting what she had just experienced. But he immediately ran in. “Mother!!” his screams called while looking for the whereabouts of his mother.

“Yes, Mom in the kitchen,” says Ms. Nurlela.

Kanaya immediately ran into the kitchen. “Bu!” call him again when he approaches his mother.

“Ih~ this why run around yelling gini?” ask Nurlela's mother.

“Bu, please tell Eneng. What is this really about? How come there is a person ___,” said Kanaya in a hurry to ask for an explanation.

“Sabar, sit down first,” cut Mother Nurlela to calm her new daughter. “This drink,” bargain give a glass of cold water and Kanaya immediately drink it.

Dugh!

Kanaya placed the glass on the table quite hard after stressing the contents. “Bu, clear to Eneng. That who? Why is it here?”

Nurlela's mother smiled clumsily before starting to speak. “So you've met Nak Adhi?” ask Mother.

“A ... Adhi?” kanaya repeated the name she could not name because she did not believe in her eyesight before.

“Iya, so it's his son Ibu Ranti the same Mr. Efendi who had played here,” obviously Mother is the same as what her father said. But it seems that Kanaya did not really hear it, because she could not control herself.

“What was his name earlier?” kanaya asked to make sure.

“Adhi,” replied Mother.

“Not, the long name,” pinta Kanaya again.

“Adhiandra Putra Darmawan,” replied Mother slowly.

‘Oh My God, this just happens to be the same person whose name is aja –kan similar?’ kanaya still denied.

“What works, Bu?” ask Kanaya again.

“Dia Lecturer. And it turns out he taught at your campus, Neng,” replied Ibu Sumringah.

“Keep Mr Adhi to why come here?” kanaya asked seriously.

“Ya~ make acquaintances,” replied Mother still does not want to be outspoken.

“Udah?” kanaya fishing line.

“Ya~ if suitable may only be more serious.”

“Who wants to be betrothed?” kanaya asked directly to the point.

“Ya~ yes, you.”

“Kok can I do it, Mom? Kan Eneng is still in college. Why not Bang Dhika?” kanaya Protest.

“Yes, because Nak Adhi is a boy. Time installed with your brother anyway,” said Mother who does not understand the question of her daughter.

“Not, why Eneng first. Kan aja, make Adek or his brother Pak Adhi,” Kanaya murmur.

“His sister there is one who is not married, but it is also the guy –His youngest brother,” tell Ibu Nurlela.

“Ya already, same Sofi aja. Same with bontot.”

“Hush! Ngaco you, Neng. Sofi is still Junior High, a fast slave wants to be married to the same age as you,” Mother's nagging.

“Keep Ereng what? Married to a guy the same age as her husband Teh Dita, same marriage Om-Om?” kanaya is overflowing. “No! Anyway Eneng do not want to be married or betrothed, especially suddenly like gini.”

“Call introduction, Neng,” says Mom calming.

“No, Eneng can't believe it. Why the rush so much anyway? Why should I be the same Mr Adhi? He's Eneng's lecturer, Bu.” Kanaya still insisted. “Bapak is not bankrupt, right? Continue to have debt until selling Eneng to pay him off,” accuse Kanaya as she often read or watch in stories and dramas.

“Astagfirullah, Neng. Not until like that,” replied Mom a little surprised.

“Keep why, Mom? A promise? Wills?” Kanaya.

“Nothing seems so-so either, it's pure with no particular intent and suddenly aja.”

“Means Mother?”

“So ___,” Ibu Nurlela is hesitant to talk. “You know, Ms Ranti?” mother and Kanaya asked. “So Bu Ranti there talk to Mom, initially she was –ada girls are not made known to her son. I continued to answer, if I have three daughters but the first is married, the second is still in college and the youngest is Junior High School. That abis you started nyapa Bu Ranti right after the Arisan Study event, and the last one met and the same story Bu Ranti was you,” explained Bu Nurlela and Kanaya are still listening.

“Terus?”

“Well, you guys told me about the dishes. Maybe just the right time Bu Ranti began to be interested in the same Eneng and so did not take Eneng to cook at his son's house,” added Mother

And this time Kanaya began to understand the root of the problem.

So that's the culprit, huh, is he himself?

Because Bu Ranti likes her cuisine to be shared with her family and fit in, she continues to be the official chef of her family.

Kanaya sighed.

During this time he was not aware of the behavior of Ranti's mother who approached him and his family's strange behavior lately, because he was busy with Mr. Adhi himself on the grounds of the thesis. But it turns out the edges are even like this.

“Neng, mending now Eneng clean-up keep praying. Already entered this Ashar time,” advice Mother.

Kanaya was stunned by her deep daydreams because of Mother's reprimand, but also because I looked up to the present day azan.

Waitaminute! I know this voice. Don't tell me more azan now ... Mr Adhi!!

It seems like he does need some refreshment and calmness, it feels better after he takes a shower, prays and prays. Right now Kanaya is lying on the bed staring at the ceiling, then somehow push from where –she wants to reach it. And at that moment he saw a circular object in his arm, the bracelet Adimas gave him.

Kanaya smiled looking at him.

Not out of thought it feels, he who for years has a crush on his next door neighbor –terus soan and marahan. But this was even betrothed to the next-class Lecturer, who now doubles as his Advisor.

“Neng, what else? Can I get out now?” call Mom with a gentle knock on the door.

“Iya Ma'am,” replied Kanaya and got up, then got out.

“Come, that guest has returned with your Father,” said Mother told.

But without being told Kanaya could find out from the commotion in front that was heard up to this room. It seems that Mr. Adhi can win his Father's heart and get the green light, but for Kanaya it means yellow light –he must be vigilant.

Kanaya came to the living room, where her Father and Lecturer had a close conversation.

“Eee~ Neng, prepared to eat the same drink. In the afternoon, Nak Adhi's goods are hungry,” said Mr. Haris.

“Ehhh .. don't bother Sir,” replied Mr. Adhi condolingly.

“Iya Sir,” replied Kanaya obediently and went back to back as her Father requested and told her Mother.

Aided by Teh Dita and Sofi, Kanaya prepares meals together. They warmed the side dish and served it on the table.

“Call the same Father Nak Adhi –nya, Neng,” Mother's word that seems to have finished arranging the table.

Rice Liwet Salted Fish, Fried Chicken Ungkeg, Vegetable Leaf Cassava, Lalapan, Fried, Sambal and last is the favorite food of Mr. –Tumis Jengkol.

‘Hmmm~ I think he got an idea deh,’ muttered Kanaya and smiled ignorantly.

“Pak, the food is ready,” tell Kanaya.

“Come, Nak Adhi .. We eat first,” take Mr. Haris.

They all sat at the dining table.

“Neng, disendokin or rice for Nak Adhi,” said Mr.

Kanaya glared in surprise, but she still did her Father's request. Kanaya filled the plate for Pak Adhi with a complete side dish, including his weapon –Jengkol. “Please eat, Mr. Adhi. Later if you want to add, say aja,” said Kanaya.

“Iya, thank you Ma'am Kanaya,” Pak Adhi replied.

They ate quietly, though occasionally the father blabbed. But behind that, Kanaya still pay attention to the movements of Pak Adhi –one of which Jengkol is completely untouched and seems marginalized.

“Pak Adhi, Jengkolnya want to add? This is my Father's favorite dish,” said Kanaya while adding Jengkol to his own plate and eating voraciously.

“Yes, thanks Ms. Kanaya. This is also still there,” the pretext of Mr. Adhi.

But a second later he got a look from the family. Feel the rain right around him, inevitably –he was forced to eat the soft meat. Which could be said to be an experience that he returned to after a long time. ‘Bismillah,’ he said inwardly.

Kanaya watched carefully, Mr. Adhi who just put a piece of Jengkol in his mouth. It took a while before Mr. Adhi chewed, then he seemed silent again and returned to eating including scooping Jengkol for the second time.

Huh~ blames his mother's cooking can not be rejected.

Plan failed!

After the talk show resumed, even Teh Dita and Bang Dhika participated in the meeting. While Kanaya just silently listened, like Sofi. And only after the Isya prayer, Mr. Adhi came home. Then Kanaya was asked to drop off, my goodness! Here you go, red light for Kanaya.

“Thank you, I've been well-hosted,” said Mr. Adhi. “Especially fitting I was forced to eat Jengkol with you, imprint once until now,” added Mr. Adhi then exhaled and held with the palm of his hand in front of his mouth. “This is the first time, I eat Jengkol not very smell and add,” he admitted. “Maybe later Ma'am Kanaya can masakin for me and bring the right guidance,” godanya and get a plot from the student.

“Sama-sama Sir,” replied Kanaya as she was.

“You can't wait to see me coming home, yes?” ask this sensitive Mr. Adhi.

Or maybe it looks like Kanaya who is like a rented mother ngusir residents are in arrears of rent.

“Please think carefully, Ms. Kanaya,” said Mr. Adhi suddenly with a wise-sounding tone. “So is mine. Although our parents have agreed, but the one who will run it is us.”.

“Iya Sir,” replied Kanaya but in fact she was just a small talk, because the answer is already absolute and round –NO!

“Dan .. the day after tomorrow do not be awkward when meeting with me, let alone avoid and absent guidance. Just do it normally, like before. Separate your personal and social life,” said Mr. Adhi.

“Iya Sir,” Kanaya replied still unchanged.

“So much you yes, said my mother –that is a very dream candidate,” said Mr. Adhi and smiled.

“No Sir!!” push Kanaya fast.

“Ya pus~ it feels like I just heard the answer to your refusal, deh,” said Mr. Adhi competed like a broken heart. “Good, then I say goodbye. See you later, Assalamualaikum,” pampitnya and enter the car.

“Waalaikumsalam,” replied Kanaya and only then did Mr. Adhi close his car door.

Kanaya waited for Mr. Adhi to leave because he had to quote the gate.

Tin ... Tin ...

Kanaya jumped in shock because of the sound of the horn, but because of that Mr. Adhi got the attention of his students back.

“Sleeping that sreaks, don't think about it,” he said. “Dah yes, I go,” said Mr. Adhi and waved before closing the windshield of his car and leaving.

While Kanaya, unconsciously her hand is still waving towards Mr. Adhi's car which is slowly starting to move away.

“Ugh! What am I, alay!” grumble at yourself before entering and closing the gate.
