At midnight, Kardiman Setil's van drove down a winding road at the foot of the mountain to Obong village. The lamp on the left right of the weak road is not able to really provide lighting on the road. The group decided to leave at midnight so that it could be until the morning, considering that according to Obong villagers, it took three, four hours or could be more trips to Obong village through three other villages.
The four Obong residents looked exhausted. Two of them had closed their eyes, while the rest were more silent. Marsudi tried to understand the striking difference compared to the day yesterday. From morning until night, the four were so friendly and told a lot of stories.
At first, a full day of Marsudi was made unpleasant to face those whom he considered to be too good people, but tonight in the car, they are like strangers. There was a strange hint of disappointment in Marsudi's heart. He smiled to himself. They were really tired, he thought.
After about an hour's drive and passing through a village, the moustached and bearded Setiawan woke up his sleeping companions, then patted Kardiman Setil on the shoulder sitting in front of him driving the van, "Mas Kardiman, we'll stop for a second, yeah. After that turn there was a house. There's something we need to take there," he said.
Kardiman Setil just said it. It is true that after a turn, on the side of the road, under the trees, there is a building more properly called a hut than a house. They stopped in front of his yard. The hut is dark, no lights at all. Only the dim street lights shone on him indistinctly. Trees are all around him. Marsudi even saw a thick banyan tree a little to the back of the hut.
"What are you taking? Should I help you?" ask Marsudi.
"Well, there's no need to bother. Not much was taken, though. Ask for a minute, yes," said Ngadi.
Marsudi assented although quite surprised. If the goods to be taken are not much, why should the four people go down?
But he kept going down, headed to one corner and peed there just as the four Obong residents disappeared from his sight and entered the dark hut.
Affandi catches up with Marsudi and goes along to pee next to him, "Don't you feel suspicious?" whispered slowly.
Marsudi nodded slowly.
"Kardiman has even prepared his UZI" Affandi added.
Marsudi smiled, "Do you need that serepot? If indeed they want to mess around, one of us alone is enough to face them like," Marsudi said while completing his urination.
"But I feel like something's weird, bang. All day they are too friendly, there can't be a human being as good as that. After all, it should have been when I snapped this morning, they thought a hundred times about getting into trouble with us" said Affandi, who has high self-esteem and confidence, because he is also the leader of an army of thugs in his area of power.
The car engine was turned off, but the headlights were still left on. The lamp illuminated four male figures standing in a row grasping a long machete. They are the four Obong residents who participated in the van three friends Marsudi earlier. Apparently they asked to stop and go down in the hut in the middle of the dark road to pick up sharp weapons that had been from when they had prepared.
Seeing this, Kardiman Setil laughed out loud, "Sorting like you guys do not know to be lucky, do not know yourself and look for death," he said with laughter. "You really don't know who we are. So let's just say you guys are apes today. I don't intend to kill people who aren't part of the job, but seeing you guys carry that rusty machete, killing you can be my pleasure" he added.
The four men flinch at Affandi's sight showing off a pair of carambits pulled from his back waist and Kardiman Setil stroking his UZI. This action in the heart of Affandi and Kardiman Setil is expected to make the four would-be robbers realize that they are looking for trouble with the wrong person and run into the forest behind the hut. But what happened, in response to Kardiman Setil's words earlier, Sujono and Anwar stepped their legs in unison and drove quickly to attack the three by making both machetes.
This unexpected attack can be read Marsudi and Affandi who have long been familiar with silat science. Marsudi came forward to welcome Sujono's attack and hit Sujono's chin even before the machete swung. Sujono glazed on the ground. Affandi also managed to avoid Anwar's backstroke with a low bow, and with the back of the carambit blade not sharp, he smacked it into the opponent's back so he fell down. For ordinary people, these two attacks were enough to paralyze them, so there were still two people who could decide to attack and accept the risk as both of their colleagues got, or run away to find safety.
Sujono and Anwar stood up. Their faces showed no pain. They even raised their machetes again and gave out cues for Ngadi and Setiawan to join the attack.
"Damn it, you guys are really looking to die, huh? Still fortunately we deliberately refrain from injuring you ...," Affandi's sentence was cut by a machete strike and carried out many times ferociously by Anwar plus Setiawan. He was forced to retreat far and roll back using his Silek Harima moves.
When Sujono was about to attack Marsudi assisted by Setiawan, Kardiman Setil grabbed Sujono's body from behind and threw it into the hut building. Throws that should be able to crumble normal human bones. Marsudi also managed to quickly kick Setiawan's body, punch him in the face several times and even kick back the assailant's chest as a cover attack. Setiawan fell.
When all the enemies are defeated, Marsudi's stifled screams resuscitate his two comrades that they must take drastic action. Setiawan like his other colleagues had re-awakened fit and read his machete twice to the shoulders and head of Marsudi. Blood rushed profusely from Marsudi's gaping wound. His body fell to the earth.
Affandi approached Marsudi's body covered in thick blood, "Bang, get up fast," he said rather panicked. Although he has repeatedly been an eyewitness to the efficacy of Marsudi's rawarontek science, Affandi still feels anxious about the condition of his brother.
In just a matter of seconds, Marsudi's body shook violently. He got up standing. The gaping wounds on his shoulders and head closed quickly and disappeared. Marsudi licked his own blood that ran down his face, "Kill these fuckers!" his orders.
Affandi sighed calmly seeing that the brother had returned to life and stood up. He roared loudly, attacking Setiawan and Sujono with his carambit without hesitation. The attack speed is above average. The sharp end of his pair of carambs tore off Setiawan's pants and shirt and Sujono to pieces. Maybe a dozen wounds should have split the two bodies like watermelons.
Setiawan and Sujono were unmoved. Their clothes were indeed torn apart irregularly, but Affandi felt scratching the marble with his carambit.
Marsudi laughed, "Science is invulnerable" he said while still laughing.
