Sania's startled roar turned into a crisp smile, then turned into a small laugh. “I don't understand why people continue to misunderstand us both. This mother is really.”
“How?” my many. Misunderstand what? Really what? Why did he smile when he was invited to bed?
“Thank you, Ma.” Sania's smile and words only made my bad thoughts grow. The novel has a plot twist at the end of the story.
“I appreciate Mom's joke in the situation as it is today. Mom really awesome.” The woman's eyes twinkled and suddenly shattered all the ugly thoughts in my head.
I want to cry. I am the only one with narrow minded. It was very fitting that she became the female lead. If she had a little bad mind I would have been reported to the women's protection community.
The mission box in front of me finally displayed the word “success” on its screen. Mercifully. I always felt terrorized every time it appeared.
“You looked so awkward. Sorry if my words were a bit outrageous.” I also improvised.
“Not really Bu. Mom has a good sense of humor.”
This woman's sense of humor is truly unique.

I threw the script on the table and stared intently at the people one by one. Which of course succeeded in making them gulp and throw their face elsewhere.
“So like this? This is the script you guys prepared for me on the show?” I tapped my index finger at the table, waiting for them to answer.
One of the staff members ventured. “What is the question too bad? If you want we can change to be more save.”
I smiled cynically. Making the chicks increasingly wrinkled, including the man who offered me to join the program.
“You!” show me the men. “You told me to come, right?”
He's nodding.
“Do you think these questions are correct?”
He gulped before replying, “Not yet, Mom. Those questions will ruin your reputation. We should have—“
“Ck, ck, ck, it turns out you're the same. This question is too ordinary. Not challenging at all. The audience would be tired of just looking at being asked questions like this. If you think this question still has to be made more save, then what should it be like? Should the host ask me what breakfast was this morning? What kind of face soap do I use? Questions like that you mean?”
“No, Ma'am,” they answered simultaneously reminding me of the soldiers in the military barracks.
“Then it is, replace it. I want something more kicked again,” break me.
Heh. The baby questions they prepared were nothing compared to the mockery I received from Tony Lesmana's germ fans.
“You guys are quiet?” ask those who only look at each other.
“We can do this to Mom."
Why can't it? Because I'm a future leader? And if you hadn't, you would have killed me alive?
“So you guys want to oppose?”
They were all silent until a voice appeared. “Actually what relationship have you had with Tony Lesmana during this time?”
I smiled looking at the man. A bespectacled man who is the producer of this show. “What is your relationship with Tony Lesmana?” ask him once again, and successfully made the other staff hold their breath.
“What do you do?” ask the person next to him.
“Work,” the answer is relaxed.
“Yah...,” mulaiku casually. “Our relationship is limited to bosses and employees who are under contract.”
“Unfortunately. Lately I know how hard it is to make money. So paying journalists to silence this kind of news feels a bit less useful. Looks like my dad did it. He no longer needed to take into account the difficulty of finding money. The money is already very much. So not wanting to bother, it looks like he did this.”
“Someone said that you teased Tony Lesmana?”
I don't know why I feel like everyone here is holding their breath.
I answered the question with a cheerful laugh. “Actually Keanu Reeves sent me the DM last week, he said if I was empty tonight later this week.” I raised my hand as if DM so was common. “Then you are alone, how about I tease and promise you to become an artist? Will you accept my offer?”
“No. I do not exchange my self-esteem for money.”
I took out a check and wrote down a fantastic number, and handed it to the man. He gulped and his eyes were puffed up.
“It's just down payment.”
When the man's hand was stretched out to get it, I pulled the check back. “I changed my mind.”
Everyone here was holding back laughter looking at the blushing face of the man.
“You don't worry. I'm not interested in you anyway. Same with Tony Lesmana. And I'm sorry, I was just kidding.”
Then somehow because the atmosphere was not as awkward as before other staff began to come along to ask, “Say you do not have the ability to run this business, how did Mother respond to it?”
I replied with a big smile. “It's true. If I had the ability I wouldn't be here. I must have been at the economic and business event.”
“Netizens said that you have a grudge on your own father?”
“Actually I've been having a bit of a crush on my dad lately. I wish I could have a brother or sister. At least I'm not the only one who's gonna fuss about giving her a grandchild. But I understand his wish. At his current age, he must have been very tempted to show off his healthy grandson to his friends and colleagues.” I laughed a little. “But I'm not ready to get married. Maybe one of you is interested in being my father's son and giving him a grandson. He must be so happy.”
“Then how about you disturb one of the employees in your office? Doused it with kopi—“
“It's not true.” Finally after being silent Sania opened her voice. “Bu Catherine did it by accident. I was the one who nudged his hand back then.”
Everyone here gasped to hear it.
“People would be happier if I did. But, guys, I love coffee so much, just dousing it into someone's shirt doesn't sound like a good idea.”.
“You're here with that employee?” ask one of the staff again.
“Iya. He's here to help my private secretary. You can check for yourself if he looks like a persecuted man. Yeah, although I admit I can be a little intimidating sometimes. That is, perhaps the innate talent was born of a person with a sinister face like me.”
This time they did not hide their laughter at all. Some of them even called me funny and fun.
“Alright, Mom,” said the male producer. “We will write the script as asked earlier.”
“Good,” I said as I stood up, then greeted him with a professional smile. “I wait for the next news. And I'm really sorry if that check issue offended you.”
The man laughed embarrassedly. “I'm also sorry for fishing you first.”
I knew he didn't like me from the beginning so he just caught my bait. Maybe he had the intention to show me my badness or something. Then I intentionally embarrassed him for revenge. But he doesn't seem to hate me anymore.
All right, consider this a win-win.
