It was the moment where the selection of the chairman of the Demon Exterminator Squad was live in the arena of the Valtigor Magic Academy. In the middle of the arena was seen a boy who was holding a light blue dagger in front of his enemy who was currently still in a sprawling state.

"Haaaah. You wouldn't say that your abilities are only this limited, would you ?".

An arrogant remark from Rui, the main character who brags himself with the intention of humiliating his senior who is said to be the best student in the Valtigor magic academy.

All the students and professors who are currently watching the match are made very angry by the behavior of the teenager who they had always been humbled. They really did not expect that what they assumed was inversely proportional to the reality they were witnessing. The head of the Valtigor magic academy professor Rufus who saw the incident still could not believe what he was witnessing.

"What ability is it !! I have never seen an ability that cannot be followed by such eyes !!" Professor Rufus stared intently at Rui.

"Using that quick ability to fight witches takes time to cast spells. I... no !! Whoever it is, I'm sure that he won't want to deal with that ability." He murmured in his heart.

Eizan looked at Rui with a hateful look.

Hearing that, Rui laughed and looked at Eizan with a gaze to demean Eizan.

The haughty smile on Eizan's face again turned into fear. "To..help me, anyone !? this kid is crazy !?" Eizan involuntarily peed on his own pants out of fear by the dagger that was now stuck to his neck.

The head of the academy, Professor Rufus Gildart, immediately came to Rui and immediately stopped Rui's hand, intending to end his senior's life.

Rui with an angry look turned her gaze to Professor Rufus.

While releasing his hand grip the Professor sighed. Then he complained because he was not out of thought with his student's attitude towards him.

"Even you dare to oppose the head of this academy. I'm out of words for you. Don't you even care if you get kicked out ?!" Professor Rufus seemed resigned to his student attitude

"Erased out ?! Are you threatening me ?! I know what kind of person you are, Professor. I also know how big your ambitions are for talented people like me. Isn't that so professor ?!

Heard the arrogant words of his disciple. Instead of feeling angry or offended, Professor Rufus laughed at Rui's words.

"Hahahahah, what an interesting boy. Apparently the rumor about you that nobles failed is just a mere joke. I'm sure all those who think that way are now holding back the shame of their speech" Professor Rufus' remarks offended and embarrassed the audience.

"However, aren't you being too arrogant son ?!" Rufus was slightly surprised by Rui's attitude.

Said Rufus while patting Rui's shoulder.

But behind his smile, Professor thought hard in his heart.
