Episode 61 Inauguration of the hero

The night finally came. The palace throne hall was filled with nobles who wanted to witness the inauguration of their heroes.

The commoners gathered in the vast gardens of the imperial palace and partied while waiting for Rui's arrival.

After a while, Rui had finished preparing and wearing the clothes that the emperor Julius had provided, as well as his entire family and friends.

"You look so handsome my son" Julia said, holding her son's face.

"Thank you mom" Rui replied smiling.

Risiya and Ririna looked at Rui with a look of admiration because only this time did she see that impassioned Rui.

"Your usual appearance is cool, but now it looks charming" said Ririna.

"I think so too" said Risiya.

"Thank you, you guys also look cute" Rui said praising the two girls.

The girl blushed with Rui's words, then came a servant to take Rui to the emperor's throne room. His family and two friends immediately left and waited for Rui's arrival in the hall, while Rui was preparing to enter when her name was already on call.

As Rui prepared to enter the door of the room, she looked extremely nervous and unsettled. The guard soldiers who saw that only smiled at Rui.

"It's okay, Mr. Rui, hold your head up and be proud that you are our hope" they said, calming Rui down.

Rui who heard their words became a little relieved.

"Thank you" Rui replied.

Then the voice of a palace errand boy was heard calling Rui's name.

"Alright let's start this coronation. Let us greet with joy, the hero we have been waiting for for hundreds of years. Rui Aubert's"

The door to the throne room is open. Rui entered the room accompanied by a loud applause from everyone there.

Rui glanced to her right and saw her grandfather and uncle smiling towards her. Same with mom, sister and friends.

"Please calm down and let's listen to the greetings of our hero" the host said.

Rui looked around her, all gazes fixed on her. All that attention and gaze reminded him of his childhood events which were also always the subject of the conversation and attention of everyone who saw him.

But the gaze he felt now was no longer the hateful and contemptuous gaze he had once felt but rather the look of admiration and hope from people over him.

"Good night dear guests and thank you for being here tonight"

"My name is Rui Aubert, son of Augustus Aubert and Julia Bernet"

Then came a waiter in front of Rui to bring a drink. The waiter looks suspicious because he looks very scared of something. Especially when Rui and took her drink glass, she grew even more frightened.

"To welcome, the birth of our hero. Toast" said the emperor raising his glass which everyone was following.

But suddenly, a shadow army appeared in front of Rui. They immediately stopped Rui's hand that would harvest the wine. It makes people around him panic because they do not know the figure of the shadow soldier who is dubbed as the squirming army.

"What is this, who are they" said the nobles who were shocked to see their appearance.

But Rui remained calm with the situation that arrived.

"What's up" asked Rui briefly.

"I'm sorry, my lord, I didn't mean to be presumptuous but I stopped you from drinking it because it was poisoned" he said.

Hearing all that, everyone panicked and put down the entire glass they were holding.

"Relax the honored guests, the poisoned drink belongs only to the hero, while your drink is fine" he said.

"Unfortunately, who is the one who dared to do that to our hero, show that person and I will slash his neck" Duke Jirnif said angrily.

But the shadow soldier hesitated a little to say the identity of the person because he was afraid that something unwanted would happen. He was only silent when he saw the Jirnif duke cursing the perpetrator.

"Tell me who it is" the emperor snapped to the shadow warrior.

Seeing the emperor who was wrathful to him the shadow warrior finally opened his mouth.

"He's the culprit" he said, pointing at the prince.

Everyone was surprised and did not expect that the prince who was well known and thoughtful of his people would do such a cruel deed to the hero they had expected from hundreds of years ago.

Furious and without the slightest hesitation, the emperor gave orders to the knight wizard on guard.
