Episode 49 The leader of the magic tower

Seeing the minister filled with anger, the laughing of the rebels instantly vanished. They wondered if the famous imperial prime minister had gone mad for calling an outcast a hero.

"I'm really amazed by your Sharman cipher" said Arlan, who did not believe the minister's remarks.

"Writer said?"

Arlan took out her magic wand and directly attacked Rui.

"I'll prove your lie with the death of your stupid hero" he shouted as he cast his magic.

Arlan directly attacked Rui with quite powerful magic. Arlan as the leader of the magic tower is indeed a talented magician but blinded by his passion for heroes, so all the experiments he did to the orphans to make his own hero figure.

The child he would potentially take from the orphanage and was educated inhumanely and used as an experiment to create a hero. But those who do not escape and are still alive, will be made as shadow soldiers and all their identities will be removed to hide all their secret projects.

Arlan's attack that was pointing towards Rui instantly disappeared without a trace as it approached Rui's body. That astonished him.

"What_did Sihiku disappear?" Arlan's surprised.

He again attacked with greater magic but still with the same result.

"Akkhhhhh, you all attack this loser" he said, ordering all his men.

The barrage of attacks came towards Rui, but as before, their magic disappeared when it was about to hit their target.

"What happened, why did the magic disappear when it was about to hit him. All of you beware, this loser has strange abilities" he said.

Rui then turned towards her enemies.

"Go minister, don't make me repeat my words" he said.

"Alright sir" he said and immediately passed away.

Rui looked around them and saw many corpses and chaos where - mana.

"You call this an act of heroism?, it seems like your brain has rotted because it tortured innocent children for too long"

Then with a cold look he raised his hand into the air.

"Come on, Indra" he said loudly.

Suddenly the atmosphere there became tense and the air temperature decreased accompanied by storm clouds that gathered and created a magic circle.

"Roaaaaaaaarghh" The roar of a white dragon instantly made everyone there speechless and stopped doing everything they did.

The roar made the residents and members of the sect shiver in fear with a gripping atmosphere.

"What's wrong, my lord, seems like your mood is not good" he said.

"Go and find Ririna and Karin, make sure you protect them with your life. Then kill everyone who is wearing such clothes" he said, pointing at Arlan.

"Aku akan menyusulmu setelah membereskan para benalu ini" ucapnya dengan suara datarnya.

"I understand my master" he said as he flew away in search of Ririna and Karin.

The Frost dragon that left immediately made the rebels regain consciousness.

"So, the rumor is true. A siswa capable of subduing the frost dragon was real. I thought it was just an essay and fantasy of a sadami boy" he said amazed - amazed.

"Hey son, join us. We will subdue this empire and make you the hero's right hand man. What do you think" he said.

Hearing that, Rui became astonished as to why the person in front of her said such a ridiculous sentence.

"Are you kidding me, I didn't think such a ridiculous remark would come out of a bastard like you" Rui said with a wry laugh.

Hearing Rui's words, Arlan and his men growled.

"Bad, how dare you say that. Do you think a boy who can't use magic like you can beat us?. Don't dream you stupid boy, with the departure of the frost dragon you will only die at our hands. Finish him!!" he said he ordered his men to attack.

The rebels took out their weapons and charged straight at Rui.

Rui then took out hundreds of daggers that floated in the air and directly attacked the rebels.

Some of them instantly died, yet some managed to survive with their magic protectors.

"What magic is this, wait, is this indeed magic" Arlan muttered in his mind as he was very surprised to see Rui's magic.

Rui then lunged towards the rebels and instantly finished them off so quickly that only 4 people remained with the sect leader.

"No, this is crazy. You slaughtered mercilessly the commoners as well. You're not an ordinary young man, you must be a demon, wait until the hero arrives and destroys you damn boy" he cried in fear at Rui who continued to slaughter his men.

But when he wanted to finish off Arlan, he saw a young man coming towards him.

"Lumayan too, for the size of a noble" he said with a sword on his shoulder.

Rui turned around and saw a child whose sword was covered in blood but was immediately sucked by the sword.

"What's your name, boy" he said with a look of arrogance.

"Well?, you don't look too old to me, after all, why do I have to answer questions from criminals like you" Rui said.

"Criminals?. Whether you are blind, I am the hero chosen by this sword and only I can control this sword. Were you never taught by your mother that the word hero is absolute?" said annoyed.

With his arrogant laugh, Arlan scoffed at Rui who was being annoyed by the young man.

"Hahahah, like her mother Julia, was too worried about her widow and forgot to give enough knowledge to her son" he said, which made the young man who called himself a hero laugh.

Without further ado, Rui lunged at the young man and slammed his dagger at him, but it could be dodged easily.

"Hehehe, you're pretty grumpy boy. Do you think your speed is capable of fooling me?" said arrogant.

Which dagger held by Rui was sucked when it came into contact with the sword. Rui was slightly surprised when she saw the sword shining.

"Hahahaha, are you surprised. This is a Rignit sword that has been created for Decades by tower magicians and only I can control it because I am a hero" he said arrogantly.

The sword was indeed similar to Rui's Rignit ability which was able to gather energy and release it. But unlike Rui's sword, the young man's sword sucked blood and magic from his victim's body. The more it sucked then its ability would become much stronger.

Rui was attacked with the energy release slash belonging to the sword. Rui tried to hold him down with his shield mana but it was not working because the sword force was too strong and immediately moved to fend.

Seeing that, Arlan was amazed and very happy with the ability of his sword creation.

Rui who was reluctant to use her sword that she still could not control, with a heavy heart finally summoned the real Rignit sword.
