Chasing Dreams

Since that day Niel has only spent her time in an apartment room like a man who has lost his passion for life. Alcohol bottles were strewn on the floor, shabby clothes and unshaved sideburns. The duplicate of the dream man who had the good looks of a god was in a deteriorating state.

Daniela faithfully accompanies Niel in the apartment while Stefan replaces his son's job until things improve. There's not much either of them can do because Amy and Lewis insist on not finding out Eve's whereabouts for the girl's peace.

Daniela and Stefan hope that it's only a matter of time. Whether Eve returns or not, both hope that Niel will soon return to her original condition. Although Niel is his son, they cannot be selfish by forcing Eve. The girl had been in trouble for a long time and wanted to recover alone.

Several times Daniela cried secretly because she was worried about the condition of Niel who had no spirit anymore. While parting ways with Zarina, Niel is not as bad as he is now. Still, he prayed for Eve to return with Niel.

It is true that wounds can bring friends. It means someone else can get hurt just because you're hurt. Eve didn't want that to happen to Niel. Basically the girl still thinks that she is a mistake. There was not a single story Daniela missed about the girl when Amy said it.

"Niel—"

"Where have you found it, Eve?" See what came out of his son's mouth the first time?

"Your father is still looking for her." Daniela can only say that.

At the end of it Eve sobbed without a sound as she touched her very claustrophobic chest.

"I can't give you what you want, Niel. But it's not your fault. I can't do it."

"Please .. don't go. I don't care about them. All I care about is you, Eve. We don't have to get married if you're afraid. I promise it's just us." Niel is completely destroyed now. Eve was like her physical soul. For Eve's sake, she won't care about the pain.

"You don't deserve to be in hell with me, Niel."

"WHAT CARES! EVEN I CAN STEP ON FIRE FOR THE SAKE OF BEING WITH YOU!"

"Thank you—"

"Don't say anything! I want you to go home!"

"I learned love from you, Niel. Therefore, this separation also hurt us. Find someone who means as much as I do and then forget me like you forgot Zarina."

"NO! TELL ME WHERE YOU ARE!" niel snapped, "I'll pick you up now." The man started crying.

"You can also marry—"

"I'M NOT GETTING MARRIED!"

The girl sobbed violently with her trembling body. Eve cried by hiding her face above her knees under the moonlight which also looked lonely.
