Eve had just finished cooking with Adaline when a crying voice sounded from the living room. Eve and Adaline immediately took off her apron and went to the origin of the sound.
Ruby who became one of them ran to hug Eve after the arrival of the woman. There was one girl of Ruby's age who was also crying.
"What's this about? Why are you crying?" Adaline asked.
"They're fighting over dolls, Mom," obviously one of the older boys.
"Captured? Don't you have each one?"
"He took mine, Eve. My doll's hands are breaking!" ruby while crying.
"Is that so, Daisy?" ask Adaline.
"I didn't mean it, Mom." Daisy lowered her head, "sorry, Ruby."
"But my doll is broken!" ruby again
"Ruby," admonished Eve gently. He held the little girl and took Daisy's hand towards the Sofa, sitting both on his right and left side.
"Tell me what happened?"
Daisy linked her finger nervously as she said, "my doll is gone, Eve. I just want to borrow Ruby's for a second."
"Then, Ruby?" ask Eve again. This time to Ruby.
"I'm still playing with him, but Daisy wants to take him."
This time Eve looked at Daisy again. The girl immediately looked down in fear, "sorry," he said.
Eve sighed softly while embracing the two.
"Bavin ... You can't take someone else's property without permission even if you want to borrow it."
"And Ruby ... Daisy's apologizing, right?"
Both nod.
"Sorry, Ruby. I won't repeat it again."
"I'm sorry, Daisy, too."
"Yes, don't fight anymore. We'll go get a new doll. The others can too." The kids were so happy to hear it.
"If you had a child someday, you'd be a good mother." Embrace Eve to the dining room after the children run in first.
Eve fell silent. Baby huh? It might not be bad after thinking about it. During his two years here, he took care of the children with Adaline. But so far it can be said that Ruby is the closest to him. He remembered how adorable the five-year-old girl was. It might not matter if he thought like this just yet.
"I belong to someone else, Mom. I don't intend to have children with anyone." Although Niel already had other people even his own child, nothing would change. This is the risk of his own choice.
"I know that. You always have been."

"I heard someone needs a new toy!"
The children immediately ran over as someone just walked in carrying a large bag of toys and dolls. Eve follows casually behind those who start scrambling to pick their toys.
"Thank you, Dad." Eve hugged him tightly.
"Anything for my daughter." Felipe gave a kiss on Eve's forehead.
A few months ago Felipe found her. Not— but just met him. His father said, "who does not know of his existence. We purposely let you not bother you."
Eve also knew that she would not be able to hide from those who had that power. Thank goodness her family understood. He and Felipe were very awkward at first, but who would have thought Felipe melted his coldness first until they were as close as now. The man also repeatedly apologized and even cried in front of him. Said that he was a bad father who made his daughter have a dream to leave.
But never once did Felipe tell me more than that about them. He understood that Eve did not want to hear outside news including about Niel. It's good for his inner calm, isn't it?
It's no more possible to just say how they are. Most importantly, they are all fine. Although Eve often refrained from asking her father about Niel. He became more and more afraid to listen to her.
"Amy is upset with me for not being able to talk you home. Though he himself forbade us to pick you up first."
"He was just bluffing. Don't think about it."
"Thank you, Mr. Lavelle. The kids love your gift." Adaline who came said happy.
"It's good to hear it."
"You talk, let me take care of the kids." Touching Eve's shoulder.
"Thanks, Adaline," said Felipe.
