Mark smiled with the satisfaction of a father who could feel his daughter back into his arms. He looked at Luther who gave a big smile on Bryon's body while holding his daughter.
"We're going back to the cathedral" Mark said reluctantly.
"Do you need protection?" luther replied as he lifted up Bryon's head that had been covered in black blood. He twisted it vilely in front of Elena's parents. The two closed their eyes while turning their faces away.
"For what you have done in the past!" luther's murmured in revenge.
Mark and Julianne go hand in hand to put Elena in the saddle. The girl's body freezes until Sophia, who hears from The Devil's Hunter about Elena's fate, takes off her jacket to cover Elena's back.
"Pardon us, Elena" Sophia said hoarsely.
Elena simply gave a tired smile while hugging Hayley and closed her eyes as if she was already indifferent to Reyand and Sophia. He only thought about his fate now that this day was over.
Mark turned around, for Christ's sake. He was unsure whether the decision he had uttered was right or not for Elena's survival in the future. Mark was agitated and confused, but the most alarming thing was that his daughter was in danger.
Mark and Luther looked at each other.
"You can protect my daughter after your dealings with your enemies are over."
A grin on Luther's lips was seen, he nodded and turned, away from Mark who began to jerk the bridles away from the battle area with the rest of the horsemen.
Luther gave a sharp grin, there were still many Dark Larks Clans that he had to finish before continuing on without threat, without fear. Twenty minutes later, however, Sitia confronted Luther on the roof of someone's house before meeting Elena.
Sitia grinned annoyed. "How are you, Luther?" he said, looking at Luther from head to toe. "You're more handsome." he praised curiously.
Luther approached Sitia with his best smile as he unfolded the robe. "My situation is good after parting with you."
Luther, who was bare-chested, made Sitia swallow her saliva. Luther's good looks and annoying conceit reminded him of the times he spent with him. Luther had the ability to lure him deeper.
"You're still interested in me? Or did you come just to see your lover die?" luther spoke with sarcasm. Luther grabbed Sitia's jaw while pretending to kiss her. Their faces were close to each other until Sitia's lips opened as if ready to receive a kiss from Luther.
Luther grunts. "Tell me what is your purpose in appearing before my eyes now, Sitia? You're kasian with him?"
Sitia tried to take Luther's hand off which further hurt his jaw. He had trouble speaking until his eyes were glaring. His teeth were cracking, black blood seeping out of his mouth.
Sitia growled in pain while Luther still focused his strength on Sitia's jaw.
"You don't have to bother to do mourning, you just have to follow him to death."
Luther pushed for the body of Sitia, who had no life. The body rolled down and fell on a pile of snow.
"You're such a fool, it's only fitting that Elena uses the easiest trick to trick someone!"
Luther grabbed his robe and shook off the snow.
"I should've met Elena, wasted my time!"
Luther darted from the top of the tree to the top of the tree while perching in the cathedral's main tower. Julianne who was still trembling and unexpectedly had become a demon slayer opened the window and hurriedly closed it.
"Don't you bother my daughter, she's warming her body." Julianne recalled before Luther approached Elena who was curled up in front of the fireplace.
"I just want to say hello, mama." Luther grinned, he swore the sentence must have left Julianne even Elena dumbfounded. "You promised to marry me to Elena if your lost daughter we find her alive."
"Vampire, yes. But you're in a hurry to collect his promise. Elena just didn't want to talk to us." said Julianne upset and walked back and forth while biting her nails. "Oh my God, even I still think after today I'm going to hell or heaven."
"Yes, yes sorry. I'm wrong to say, besides you and I are obviously different vampires. You should have understood!" Julianne.
Luther stared for a few seconds, then nodded. "Of course, I'm sorry. I forgot you're human because we're familiar."
Luther approached Elena then ducked down, he looked forward. Looking at the face of her lover who just opened her eyes expressionlessly.
"I've killed Sitia for you" she said, sitting behind Elena while playing the end of Elena's fragrant hair. Understandably after bathing for days all over his body filled with dirt.
"I just love you, Elena. You have to trust me and lose me because I think of you. Not Sitia!"
"Bryon told me that love will never rule the darkness." said Elena, then turned around. He looked at Luther whom he longed for in his hope.
"You scared me and scared me. For a few days living with Bryon made it hard to sleep and it didn't make sense. Should be with a man as handsome as him I'd be willing to separate from you."
"ELENA!!!!!" peek at Julianne and Mark together. "You don't make a mess anymore!" julianne reminded.
Elena pulled both corners of her lips lazily and she could guess the cold expression Luther gave her.
"You jealous? I want you to say it, you're jealous I kissed Bryon."
Luther nodded in resignation without any interest in judging Elena for what she had done.
"You satisfied, girl?"
"Girl?" Elena who was relieved immediately kissed Luther ferociously. As soon as the kiss was over, Elena hugged Luther. "You know I'm thinking about you?"
Luther returned Elena's embrace with doubt and fear. Afraid of death, dying at the hands of Elena's father who grasped a glass of holy water.
"So you agreed to marry me?"
"You have to ask my mom and dad first, vampires?"
Both of them break the embrace. With the attitude of nobles who no longer need to doubt. Luther saluted Mark and Julianne and bent one knee in front of them. Luther. Her beautiful purple eyes made Julianne complain in awe.
"Will you be a part of my family, Mark, Julianne? I'm asking you not to imagine Elena being like me or she living in my castle for life, I'm just asking you to give us a chance to be together, side by side."
Mark tried to hide his disappointment by turning his face away. His heart was shattered, but recalling his contribution in raising Elena only a little, he nodded his head albeit reluctantly.
Elena stood up, for a second her face made sure her father did not give in even though he knew, the glimmer in her eyes dimmed. Elena shook her eyes, moving from Malcolm, Patricia, Jonathan, Marissa who had just come in with a gasp of breath. Then to his mother and Luther.
His heart is beating hard. His father had made a big decision and hurt his ego. Elena bent her knees in front of her father as Luther still did.
"Make us in your cathedral, papa."
Mark touched Elena and Luther's head after putting his glass on the table.
"May the Lord confirm the promise you have made before your father and the cathedral and may you always look with a loving face."
Elena and Luther smiled. Then their gazes glued to each other without reflecting anything but a feeling of relief.
