The Clutches of Lonely Vampires

The Clutches of Lonely Vampires
The Ends in Darkness

Next day. The cathedral's central bell rings eight times. Elena and Luther in the stolen clothes were tense in their seats in the back room of the altar.

"Luth, before we actually got married. I want to ask you something." Elena touched her pounding chest. "You want to have a child or you're like Marissa?"

Luther made sure his bow tie was properly plugged in before smiling widely before Elena.

"I bought you a ring yesterday with the money I got from Jonathan" Luther said.

Elena grimaced, for some reason their marriage and their closeness felt bad. The bridal outfit steals, the wedding ring from Jonathan's money not to mention later if they actually have children. I don't know what Elena's going through.

"I don't think I'm ready for Luth to have children at this time. You know what I mean? I want my college done and to work. We also have to escape from this city if the residents come later when things have improved and they expel us as an abnormal couple." Elena lowered her head, sad. "I'm afraid it's gonna happen, Luth."

Luther crouched down in front of Elena while clasping his hands. "Whatever you want me to do, Elena. Don't doubt me, I can have you in control."

"You mean it?" ask Elena to make sure.

"I've always meant it, you can ask me sweetly and gently I'll obey."

"You promise?"

Luther sighed. "Does it hard to believe first? We're almost married to Elena, are you starting to hesitate? Let's just cancel it if so and make sure your heart says."

"Don't." Elena shook her head. "I'm just making sure you can work together, Luth. This is also not a trivial matter so I ask a lot first, you understand. I'm a woman, I need understanding everywhere!"

Again the cathedral bell rang, Julianne who did not understand Luther did not come out of hiding looked into the room.

"So no? Come on, our guests are waiting."

Luther kissed the back of Elena's hand while helping her stand up.

"I'll make sure you don't regret marrying me, Elena. We can spend time on top of the tallest trees and counting the stars, or drive around the city through the roof to the roof. That's never how you feel, is it?"

Elena smiled. "What about your mom and dad? Are they gonna use my blood?"

"Little."

They followed Julianne towards the cathedral entrance. There was already waiting for Jonathan and Patricia who almost resembled a bride. Stand side by side while smiling widely.

Malcolm accompanies Marissa and her parents are overjoyed, overjoyed to see Patricia supporting Jonathan for a while before she believes Luther will finish her off at the castle.

"They're as good as we are, Jo." praise Patricia for being the bridesmaid. Jonathan nodded so that all would pass quickly. He returns to his life, Patricia returns to the castle. There are no more vampires in his life except Luther.

Arriving in front of Mark dressed in full priest clothes, his sharp eyes once again and never let his guard down a little to look at Elena, find out if his daughter still continued her desire to marry Luther.

Elena saluted her father like a king's daughter. Sweet and graceful.

"Let's start." Mark took the book which sometimes in his deepest mind longed for him to recite an accretion capable of destroying Luther in a valid eternity.

Mark performed the blessing ceremony quietly in front of the small invited guests. Only certain people were willing to attend there including the bishop of Leif.

Luther nodded, asserting Mark's statement to make her his only daughter and to take good care of her. After Mark witnessed for himself how the vampire's determination convinced him, Mark nodded. End their marriage blessing by ringing a bell in her hand in lieu of holy water.

"Put the ring on his finger and kiss your bride."

"My lens."

The applause rang out when Luther managed to pin the ring on Elena's ring finger. Luther stood up, he clasped Elena's hand before opening the transparent veil as Elena's face covering.

"I was tormented when I first saw you and I know you still have doubts, but I hope we can get through it."

Elena looked at the ring embedded in her finger. His hands trembled and was no longer shocked by Luther's cold hands. His lips were about to smile but hesitated. Her lips cannot be perfect. Elena looked at Mark, her tears dripping. She cried, thinking she was happy with her own choices even though she was crying for herself. For all the destiny played out for him, for the loneliness that accompanied him from birth, for the unfairness of the life he lived and now his fate is in the hands of vampires.

Oh how bleak Elena's life was, even though she believed in Luther's love for her and her blood. Thus, Elena had gone through stages that would never make her give up easily.

Elena wiped her tears. He was tired of being at the altar, he wanted to hug his mother and father. But not with her in-laws, because she's still traumatized. Moreover, Luther's promise to Valek was unknown to him.

Elena looked at Luther's face. His love for Luther was like the dream of a woman waiting for the strange wonders that ordinary men could do.

"I believe we can get through it."

The two approached their lips until they kissed vigorously and charmed anyone who saw them to the point that Patricia screamed hysterically.

"I want to, Jo."

Marissa looked at him with her own eyes. He looked at Jonathan who was putting on an expressionless face as Patricia clung her lips to Jonathan's jaw. His heart is broken, there are no more words for Jonathan and Marissa. They are like blank papers and fake flowers attached to every wedding bench.

Marissa lowered her head as Elena and Luther took off their kiss.

"Where are we sleeping, Elena?"

"Wait!" Valek stood up as Luther and Elena joined hands and wanted to take a step. "You haven't kept my promise, Luth!"

Luther looked at Elena.

"What did you promise, Luth?" elena asked astonished. Why did Valek from yesterday continue to collect Luther's promise. What really happened in the castle, he became suspicious when it was easy to persuade Valek to come to the human world let alone his father's cathedral.

Luther seemed to be considering it for a while as he looked one by one at a time at the people who were there anxiously.

"Say, Luth! What are you hiding from me?" elena urged as Valek began to approach her while carrying a glass of red wine.

Luther pulled the corner of his lips slowly before lowering his head.

"Your blood, Elena. As my blessing to marry you!"
