The Cold Wife

The Cold Wife
IYD 29'S

Sabrina kept pacing back and forth in front of the front gate because Arez had not returned. She kept peering into the street, hoping her husband would show up there. But the man has not yet appeared. Sometimes Sabrina was curious about Arez's strange demeanor. From the moment they first met, Arez had always been rude and erratic. And now he began to worry because the night was getting late, but the man had not yet revealed his nose.

"If I wasn't in Berlin I wouldn't worry about you disappearing even once, but this is a country of people. Come on, don't worry me." Sabrina bit her lip. He's scared now. Sabrina sat in front of the door with her gaze bowed to the ground. He was afraid that the man would never come back and leave him there. But the fear suddenly disappeared when his eyes caught a pair of shoes belonging to someone. Sabrina looked up straight away. Suddenly his smile expands. He got up from his position and immediately hugged the man.

"Where have you been, Al? I'm afraid you left me here. I'm sorry about that. I'm really pissed at you. Don't leave me here, I'm afraid."

Arez hugged tightly the slender waist of his wife. "Don't make me angry, Sabrina. Be a submissive wife."

Sabrina withdrew from her husband's arms. "Al, what's wrong with you? You've always been rude and uncontrollable. What happened to you huh?" Sabrina looked for answers in her husband's eyes. But he didn't get that.

"I told you, know me more deeply. You'll know who your husband is." Arez replied expressionlessly.

"How can you speak without such expression? You're really weird." Sabrina's comment looked at Arez questioningly. He began to wonder what this man was really hiding.

"Come in, I'll find you some food."

"I'm coming along."

Arez was silent for a moment. "All right."

Sabrina smiled happily. Hand held her husband with love. "Corn." Take it while Arez is still silent.

Arez began to step, a step that was quite relaxed and did not make Sabrina feel burdened.

"Where have you been?" Sabrina's question broke the silence.

"Round around." Answer's flat.

"Ck, basic husband is not understanding. You went around alone, leaving me at home feeling anxious. I'm almost crazy you know?"

"You're not worried about me, but you're afraid I'm leaving." Arez flat.

"Of course, all my identities you're hiding. If you leave me here, somehow my life? Why the hell am I worried about you, you're not a kid anymore." Sabrina continued to babble as if forgetting Arez's cold nature to him.

"Uh, I'm so hungry. I want to eat cheese fondue, okay?"

Arez glanced at his wife at a glance and did not intend to answer. Both were silent for quite a while.

"Al."

"Hm."

"You got a lover?" Sabrina asked wanting to know more about the man.

"Yes." Yeah."

"Huh? You have a boyfriend, but why marry me? What if your lover mmmmffff...." Sabrina was stunned because suddenly Arez pulled on the nape and kissed her lips gently.

Sabrina blinked her eyes a few times because she was still shocked. While Arez smiled faintly because he managed to make his wife's cheeks blush.

"You're very chatty. I don't have a boyfriend, but I have a wife." Arez continued his steps. Sabrian smiled and immediately balanced her husband's steps.

"That means I'm your first woman?" Tanya Sabrina hugged Arez from the side with a face looking up. He was pleased with Arez's confession.

Arez stared at Sabrina. But not giving any answer.

"You're also my first man. You're very rude, but I feel safe by your side." Sabrina was still babbling and it made Arez's heart feel warm.

"Oh yes, Al. I just remembered something, wasn't the day after your twin sisters were going to have a reception? Don't you want to attend their show? You're the oldest son."

"I'll come if you come with me."

"Al, I can't come. I don't know them yet. I'm not ready yet. You better go alone. I'll wait for you here. You must attend, do not disappoint them. Especially your parents, I'm sure they're expecting your presence. You loved your mother so much, so came Al. While you can still make it happy. Different from me who can't see him anymore."

Arez was still silent as if he did not respond to the words of his wife, in fact the words of Sabrina managed to affect his heart.

"Al, you heard me, right?"

"You're too noisy. No need to interfere in my personal affairs." Arez protests.

"But I'm your wife, Al." Sabrina pursed her lips. Then the two continued on without a word.

In the morning Sabrina was busy breaking into her suitcase, it had been an hour more she searched for her important objects. But he didn't find that thing anywhere. "I think I put it in a suitcase, why isn't there?"

Sabrina bit off the tip of her fingernail because she hadn't found it. He searched the contents of his suitcase again, but what he was looking for was not there.

"nz, Al. A__did you see the medicine.my medicine was," nervously Sabrina hugged herself.

"What medicine?" Arez asked with almost no expression. "If what you're looking for is that damn pill, you'll never find it."

"What?" Sabrina gave a surprised cry. "You threw it away, Al? Oh god, it's my fertile days, Al." Sabrina started to panic.

"Then?"

"What if I'm pregnant? Last night you threw it inside. Oh my god, Al." Sabrina rubbed her face violently.

"Well, you're pregnant by your own husband not anyone else." Answer Arez casually. His wife's mouth opened upon hearing that.

"I don't want to get pregnant this fast. You could've dumped me after you got bored, right?"

Arez moved towards the closet and pulled a t-shirt and jogger pants. Take off the towel without the slightest embarrassment. Sabrina who saw that immediately turned around.

"You've seen him all night" said Arez teasing his wife.

"You're so perverted, Al." Sabrina got upset and went straight to the bathroom.

Sabrina stared at her reflection in the mirror. His face was pale with fear. What if she is really pregnant? Arez is not an easy person to understand. What if the man gets bored and completely dumps himself? Sabrina doesn't want to risk anything for now.

"What should I do now?" His eyes closed tightly. Trying to shake off all that fear. Sabrina walked towards the bath, flushing her body under the cold water.

What are you planning, Al? Why are you holding me in this relationship? Uncertain relationship until when it will last. Sometimes you're gentle and make me feel comfortable. But sometimes you scare me, Al. Do I need to know you any further? What if I drown and don't want to get away from you? Are you going to hold my hand then? Or take me off without mercy? I'm confused, Al.

Sabrina came out of the bathroom and no longer found her husband. He did not care about it and hurried to change his clothes. After which he came out of the room, his nose instantly caught a delicious scent capable of awakening the stomach worms.

"Al." His legs continued to step and took him into a room that could be said to be the kitchen. There Arez was cooking a food with a very appetizing aroma.

"Al, can you cook?" Sabrina approached her husband. Arez just glimpsed.

"Sit down." Declared. Sabrina immediately looked towards the round dining table that could only accommodate two people. Then pull up one of the chairs and sit there. His eyes kept moving researching the whole simple house.

"You're renting this house on purpose?" Ask with fingers that keep moving knocking on the table.

"It's yours."

"Huh?" Pekik Sabrian couldn't believe it.

"Where else do you want to go?" Tanya Arez while putting a large plate of fried rice on the table. Sabrina shriveled in confusion, she had never seen that type of food before.

"Fried rice, Indonesian food." Arez said to be sitting there. Then give a spoon to his wife.

"Na__nasi goreng?" Sabrina had a hard time naming the food.

"Hm. Eat it." Arez stuffed a spoonful of fried rice into his mouth. With eyes fixed on the wife.

Sabrina who saw that was curious and immediately tasted it. Instantly his eyes rounded because the food tasted so delicious in his mouth. Again and again he bribed the food with pleasure because he first tasted the food this unique. Arez smiled faintly looking at her.

"Spend, you want to drink juice?" Ask Arez to get up from his position. Sabrina just nodded enthusiastically because she was still enjoying her husband's dishes. "Al, I didn't think you were so good at cooking. It's so good." Praise Sabrina.

"Don't say much, spend it all." Arez put a glass of orange juice in front of his wife.

"Thank you." Sabrina said with a big smile. "But... Al. It's too much. You should help me spend it too."

Arez sat back in his position and continued to have breakfast with his wife. Sabrina looked at Arez with her sweet smile.

"You know, Al. I always dreamed of having a handsome husband, smart in everything and loving me of course. And now that it's really come true, I have a handsome husband like you. Although you're a bit rude, but it doesn't matter. I think you can still change after loving me." Oceh Sabrina continued to enjoy her breakfast.

Arez watched his wife's face closely. But not giving any response.

"Em... Do you like what kind of woman Al is?" Sabrina asked still trying to get her cold husband to talk.

"You are."

Sabrina raised next to her eyebrows. "Me?" Indicate yourself. After that, he laughed crisply.

"There's nothing special in me, Al. I have nothing to be proud of. Different from you who have everything." Her impressions were then gulped at the juice and left her half.

"You still have a beautiful face and body." Arez said smiling mischievously. "I like that."

Sabrina snorted in annoyance. "All men are the same, always look at the physical first." The woman went back to devouring the rest of her food and this time no longer let out any chatter. Arez smiled faintly, his heart really feeling warm with the current situation. Where he can spend time with his beautiful wife.
