The Cold Wife

The Cold Wife
THE IYD 70

"Sab, I'm sorry I couldn't attend the twins' party. You know my stomach's been swollen and I'm having a hard time moving." Alexa felt guilty through her video call because an hour ago the party was over. Now all the big families are gathered in the family room except Alexa of course.

"I understand your condition, Lexa. Hearing your news is fine I'm so happy."

There was a sound of gasping breathing across there. "I want to hold baby twins. They're so adorable, you know? It's like the ice block, it sucks."

Arez who heard that snorted annoyedly.

"Hey, did he hear me? Huh, and I don't care." Imbuh Alexa with a special suata laugh. "Oh yeah, when I give birth later you all have to be present okay?"

"Of course, we'll try to come see our niece."

"Ah, I'm so glad to hear that. It's too bad Winter's out of town, but she'd love to talk to you. My husband is always busy working and forgets his wife." Complain Alexa.

"My husband is the same, he's always busy in the office. It is not uncommon to come home late at night. He made this mansion a hotel." Sabrina managed to steal Arez's attention.

"My brother's been a workaholic for a long time you know? Even I still can't believe she's got a kid." Sabrina laughed at that. Not long after the sound of baby crying.

"Lexa, looks like a sleepy baby twins. I've got to put them to bed first."

"Okay, just give Mommy your phone. I want to talk to him."

"Alright, may you always be given health until giving birth later. I'm always waiting for good news from you."

"I'll tell you often."

Sabrina smiled, then approached her already fussy children. He also gave Sweet a cell phone before bringing the twins into the room.

"Sab, is childbirth so painful?" Alexella asked when they were in the twins' room. Alexella seemed to rub her slightly protruding stomach. Alexella is sixteen weeks pregnant.

"Lumayan. Are you scared?"

"Little." Sahut Alexella looked at Sabrina who was giving the twins ASI.

"You can get through it all, believe me. It hurts, but it will be a valuable experience in your life." Sabrina gave a sincere smile. Alexella nodded in understanding.

"Can I join?" Sky entered with Gabriel in his carrier with his distended stomach poking out from behind the shirt. Arel's wife was also pregnant. Just waiting for the day the Digantara family will increase members again.

"Of course." Sabrina answered smiling kindly.

Sky lowered Gabriel on the bed where Sabrina was breastfeeding her children. Then he sat there too. "Why are you so pale, Xella?"

"My stomach is nauseous again." Complaints Alexella who has been holding back the turmoil of her stomach.

"Just spit it out, don't get arrested." Tell Sky rubbed his sister-in-law's shoulder.

"I'll limp after vomiting, it makes me uncomfortable." Alexella put on a sad face.

Sabrina and Sky smiled amusedly looking at him. "I never slept well until I was five months old. And it's really torturous." Sabrina.

"I'm also still nauseous, just not as often as when I was under four months old." Sky chimed in.

Alexella was still enduring the turmoil in her stomach before her defense collapsed. The woman ran straight to the bathroom. Spewing out all the turmoil in his stomach. And it lasted long enough. Made him drown half dead.

"They're asleep." Sky looked at the sleeping twins.

"I'll move it to the box." Sabrina carefully woke up from her position because her children were very sensitive to movement.

"I'll get you to move Marvel."

"Ah, thank you." Sabrina carried Melvin in her arms. Then put that adorable baby to bed in the box. And so is Sky.

"They were very similar to Arez. But don't worry, the baby's face will change all the time. Looks like the Digantara gene is indeed quite domineering."

"I, who was pregnant for seven months and ten days, felt great pain. My husband still won."

Sky laughed crisply at Sabrina's complaint. "But I think it's very funny. The twins and Gabriel have a resemblance. They look like sisters and siblings."

"And I wonder what Lexa's son looks like? They might have a resemblance, too."

"You okay, Xella?" Sky asked toward Alexella who was getting pale. In response he nodded slowly. Then sit on the bed.

"Wait a minute, I'll make you some ginger tea." Sky went out too. He could not bear to see Alexella's condition.

Alexella looked at Gabriel who was playing some toys. "Hey, aren't you mad about having a sister?"

Gabriel looked over, then smiled happily. The child does not fully understand the adult conversation.

"So you're happy to get a sister huh? You fat shit."

"Yach.." said Gabriel throwing his toy carelessly. The boy sat on Alexella's lap. "Mimi's."

"Kiss Mimi first, baby." Alexella gives Gabriel her cheek. With his obedience the boy kissed Alexella's cheek. "Smart."

Alexella hugged Gabriel affectionately. Since becoming pregnant, Alexella has been getting close to Gabriel. Though Alexella is not typical of women who like small children, but pregnancy seems to really bring a change in her.

Sabrina sat back in bed. "I think the mansion will be very boisterous when they are big and all gathered. I can't imagine it. Great family."

Alexella nodded, agreeing with Sabrina.

"Sorry I just visited." Deena said giving a large gift to Sabrina. Also a warm hug. The woman had just arrived in the afternoon because she was busy preparing for the wedding.

"No problem, I know you're busy with your wedding. How's development?"

"It's almost done, because Jordan's family helped a lot." Deena replied walking surely towards the baby box where the baby twins are. The woman raised the tiny Marvel.

"I think they're getting more scales, but it's only been a week I haven't been visiting."

"Of course, they're so greedy drinking breast milk."

"It is worth yours to be very big."

Sabrina gave a crisp laugh hearing that. "Your own will also change when you have children later."

"It's still a long time."

"Hey, nobody knows, right? Maybe you'll get pregnant right after the first night. Destiny no one can guess. Like this time, for example, you kept rejecting Jordan's invitation and you eventually accepted it too."

"Because she really wanted to marry me that's why I accepted."

"But you love her, there's no need to hide anything from me. You always meet when I say his name."

"Where it is, you're wrong."

"Curtain, your prestige is too great, Mrs Jefferson."

Deena's cheeks grew red when Sabrina called her husband's clan. Being Mrs Jefferson she never imagined in her life. Jordan Jefferson was the only son of a prominent German billionaire. The largest oil company there. Of course Deena felt inferior because she was only an orphan who was lucky to be married by a Jordan. It was also his consideration why he always refused Jordan's proposal. He was not sure he could be side by side with the man who in fact had been rich since birth. But Jordan managed to convince himself if the man never messed with feelings and seriously wanted to marry Deena. Jordan's extended family also accepted Deena wholeheartedly. That's what makes Deena's hard heart soft.

"Sab, do you think I deserve to be next to Jordan? You know for yourself he's a conglomerate kid. While me? Just an ordinary girl who has nothing."

Sabrina clucked in annoyance at the humble tone of her best friend. "Listen to me, you can't be so humble like this. Your destiny is Jordan. Now you should be grateful and enjoy your love story. Maybe Jordan was the man God sent to protect you, De."

Deena was silent for a moment. "You're right. The Jefferson family was also very kind. They accepted me like their own child. I'm happy about it."

Sabrina grabbed Deena by the shoulder, leaning her head there. "I am happy because we have found the heart of each. You and I both get a man who's responsible and loves us for who we are."

"Hm." Deena nodded small. And soon he felt something warm about his clothes. "Your son peed, Sab. My clothes are wet."

Sabrina was surprised to hear that. A few moments later, he laughed cheerfully. "Looks like you're gonna be Marvel's favorite Aunty. Uh, what a pity for you, De. Just put on my shirt, I'll get it for you. But I have to change my son's clothes first."

"Huh, lucky you're a kid. When I grow up I'll hang your feet."

"You're gonna be hanged by my husband, De."

"Huh, I forgot that one block of ice."
