It had been two days that Rhea did not come out of the hotel and continued to be pensive while hugging her legs. His face also looked puffy and a little pale, there was also a black circumference around his eyes.
Two nights he could not sleep because he kept thinking about the fate of Zhea and Prince. What are they doing now? Did Gabriel take it? Are they married and now on their honeymoon? Then can they also accept Prince? All those questions kept bothering her mind.
It could have been Rhea disguised back then to see everything that was going on there. It's just that he can't afford to see the man marry someone else, even if it's his own sister. Rhea couldn't because she loved him.
"I'm sorry, Gab. You deserve to hate me." Sluggishly. And her tears came back out. It was stifling to imagine Zhea and Gabriel were on their honeymoon right now. But he cannot be selfish, Zhea also deserves to be happy. All this time, she was surrounded by many wounds. Rhea just wanted to give her a glimmer of happiness. Even if he has to be sick once.
Not long before the doorbell sounded. Quickly Rhea wiped away the tears. Looks like the hotel employee brought him dinner. Drowning Rhea got out of bed and put on her veil. Then hurry to open the door. Sure enough, a man in a hotel uniform and wearing a mask stood in front of the door holding a trolley filled with food.
Rhea invited him in. And the man came in. Rhea closed the door, then followed the man in.
"Just put it on the table. Thank you." Thank you." Said Rhea sitting on the edge of the bed while watching all the movements of the man. Seeing the sturdy body of the man, Rhea suddenly recalled Gabriel. The man's stature was very similar to her. Ah, it seems like he has gone crazy to imagine that man is Gabriel.
"Sorry, what's your name?" Rhea asked courageously to ask.
The man stood firm, staring at Rhea without giving an answer.
"Ah, it's okay if you don't want to say it. Then you can go, thank you." Rhea smiled kindly. However, the man was still in his position.
Rhea looked at him confused. "Ah, I forgot something." The girl got up from her seat, then picked up the wallet inside the drawer. Then take some money. After that, he went back to the employee. "This is for you."
Rhea held out the money to him. However, the man remained silent and did not accept it. Of course Rhea felt astonished, also a little scared because the man kept looking at her. "Why are you staring at me? I gave you a tip for you, no other means."
Slowly the man's hand moved, then opened the mask he was wearing. Sontak Rhea was stunned when she saw that face, the face she had always thought of all this time.
"Gabriel?" The girl took a few steps back.
"You're shocked?" Cynical Gabriel with his unfriendly gaze. He also took a few steps forward. Rhea who saw it continued to retreat, until it stuck at the end of the bed and could not move anymore because the distance with Gabriel was only a few inches. Even Rhea did not dare to raise her head.
"Gab, why are you here?"
Gabriel smiled in anguish. "Of course I went where I was supposed to go."
Rhea looked up with a frowning forehead. "You better get out, Gab. I don't want anyone to misunderstand."
Gabriel laughed blandly. "Can a married couple in one room be mistaken?"
Hearing that Rhea was getting confused. "What did you say? I'm not your wife, the one you married was Zhea, not me."
Gabriel smiled amusedly, then he moved away and grabbed something from inside the trolley. Then he went back to Rhea.
"See this is fine." Gabriel showed me a marriage certificate, as well as two marriage books.
Rhea saw the thing off-goal with eyebrows clinging to each other. Then his eyes widened when he saw his name written there, not Zhea. Rhea looked at Gabriel. "What's this?"
"Don't talk nonsense, Gab. How could you and I get married? Clearly Zhea...."
"Why can't it?" Cut Gabriel. And back to the trolley. Then take another paper. Show it right in front of Rhea's face.
Rhea took the object out of Gabriel's hand, then read it carefully. And it turned out that it was a marriage consent letter on her behalf. Even the signature is his. His reflexes immediately cast a sharp glare at Gabriel. Then he crumpled the paper and threw it at Gabriel.
"I never felt like I made that letter."
Gabriel smiled. "It wasn't you who made it, it was me."
Hearing that Rhea's gaze also sharpened.
Gabriel further eroded the distance between them without taking his eyes off Rhea. "Do you remember a few days ago? When you signed all the wedding files. I tucked it in there. Because I've been suspicious from the start, baby. Your attitude is very strange on the wedding day. That's why I made those preparations for fear of you running away. And my guess is right, you ran away from marriage and sent that ugly woman to me instead. Do you think I'm stupid, huh?"
Rhea clenched both her hands. "Why are you doing this, Gabriel?"
"I should have asked you, why are you doing this Rhe?" Jerk Gabriel who managed to make Rhea instantly silent. "Why are you playing with my feelings? Do you think your life would be happy by letting me marry that woman huh? Do you think I'm happy with all this?"
Rhea turned her face away, even her tears came back.
Gabriel took a deep breath, then grabbed the girl's hand gently. "What I love is you, Rhe." The back of Rhea's hand gently pecked.
Sontak Rhea was shocked and immediately pulled her hand. The removal of tears that continue to flow violently. "Enough, Gab. From the very beginning you only knew Zhea, and it will be like that forever. Leave me here. Continue your life. Whatever happened, the marriage wasn't legal."
"Unauthorized? Do I need to present your wall, witnesses and also the ruler here? So you can believe that this marriage is legal in the eyes of religion and country. Even my extended family witnessed how I said your name in front of your Uncle, Rhea."
Hearing that Rhea was stunned. "Pa...uncle?"
"Yes! I purposely brought your Uncle to be a guardian. Are you still saying this marriage is illegitimate?" Gabriel replied in a loud voice.
"But I never agreed to this marriage, Gabriel. The letter you brought is fake, it's yours." Reply Rhea was not less loud.
Gabriel looked at the woman with reddened eyes due to the overflowing emotions. However, the next second he regained his senses and changed his gaze to gentle. "Tell me again you don't want to marry me, Rhe."
Rhea turned her face away. "I don't agree to marry you." He said in a weak voice.
"See me and say it out loud, Rhea." Pinta Gabriel again.
Rhea looked at him sharply. "I don't agree to marry you!" Say it out loud.
Gabriel was silent, even lowered. Then he nodded too. "Alright, that's what you wanted turned out to be." He said and looked back at Rhea. "You're happy to play with my feelings, Rhe. Thank you for the pain you've been giving me. You're waking me up if there's not one woman in the world who's sincere. You're all just happy to play other people's hearts."
After saying that Gabriel immediately left the place with wide steps.
