Chapter 23 - The Statement of Feelings

"Whoever is there! Come outside! I've been watching you since!" kei shouted arrived.

Naturally, Kei had known all along that there were people watching him, observing Kei with curious gazes. But, there was no movement from the observer, so Kei let it go.

Kei also thought that the figure observing him was a Player. Therefore, Kei deliberately hid Yuki first before grilling the figure hiding it.

"If you don't come out, then I will act!" continue Kei again.

("All right... Who's going to come out?") ask Kei while preparing a little. He put up a horse, if he's going to attack soon. Kei also looked around, and there was no sign yet that the PvP would start.

Yep. The one who had followed Kei, and tried to observe and eavesdrop on Kei's every conversation was Shiori.

Because from the beginning, Shiori did not immediately go and get out of the UKS. But he follows Kei wherever he goes.

It sounded like a stalker, but Shiori had various excuses that she used as a Class Leader in order to make what she did like an ordinary thing.

"Hufft I thought who was following me, turned out to be the Classmaster, huh? I'm ready to be ready if there's anyone who doesn't want to be nice to me" Kei said with a smile on his face.

"Ahh, sorry. I look like I've been following you all day." Shiori replied.

Kei stared at the deserted field, trying to hide his curious face with what Shiori would do next.

"Let's!" Kei was thinking about some things when Shiori suddenly spoke up, half-calling calling out her name.

A Classmaster, who is considered perfect and is everyone's idol? And now that figure is expressing feelings to someone like Kei?

Kei really can't hold that.

("Ahh, emergency. He got me. Yuki will definitely scold me if I fail and fall like this so easily on another woman..") Kei whispered in his mind.

"How, Kei. L like you. What's your answer?" ask Shiori who is getting closer. It was even so close that Kei could stare at his face directly, and even if Kei did not hold back, Kei could have kissed Shiori directly before him.

("AHH, RIGHT!! I have to check whether Shiori is a player or not!!) kei shouted in his mind.

Kei had already reached the conclusion, that Shiori was not the Player. He was just being controlled by someone to do it all. To be able to do all that, the owner of this skill must be truly extraordinary. That's what Kei thinks.

While Shiori herself looked at Kei, not understanding what was happening. And a second later, Kei started talking.

"Ahh, um. Are you okay, Shiori?" asked Kei while slightly approaching.

Along with Kei walking over, Shiori took a step back. He looked at Kei with wide eyes, looked at his hand again, then looked at Kei, and like that continuously.

Upon realizing what had happened earlier Shiori's face immediately flushed red, and tried to escape.

Kei did not allow that, and immediately held and pulled Shioro's hand so that he could not run.

"Shiori's. Calm yourself. I need a lot of information from you" Kei said as he gave a gesture for Shiori to breathe out slowly, and let it out many times.

"Huff...."

"alright. Have you calmed down?" kei asked after waiting for Shiori to catch a breath quite a bit.

"Ah uh. Alright. Forgive my inappropriate appearance earlier." Shiori replied slightly stammered, lowering her head.

"No-no. That's not a big deal." Kei turned his face in shame.

"Why, by the way, can the Chairman suddenly say something like that to me? Honestly, it's kind of embarrassing. But, I don't think that's you, Chief. But after seeing your expression earlier, I'm sure you remember everything, don't you?" ask Kei pura stupid.

He intends to search for as much information as possible, and try to find the Player around him.

But in contrast to Shiori, who immediately flushed and looked agitated. It turned out to be true, that the incident had still been repeated in Shiori's mind.

"Umm, are you there a moment when your consciousness is lost for a moment? Or do you have imperfect memories? Or are you sleepwalking? Don't worry about telling me everything, because honestly I'm interested in such a supernatural thing." asked Kei half-laughing.

Immediately, Shiori's face flushed red again, but it looked like she was petting something. And after waiting for a while, his facial expression turned confident.

"Anu...."

"Key!!!!" a cheerful cry sounded from the voice they were familiar with. And none other than Fino.

("Shy! That fellow.... He came at an inopportune time!!") Kei snorted in annoyance in his heart.

"Please meet me on the roof of the school when you get home. I'll tell you everything. I hope you come.." whispered Shiori softly in Kei's ear, before immediately moving away.

Kei was a little surprised to hear that, but soon felt relieved. At the very least, he had not lost the only source of information he had.

"Hey, Kei. Were you with Shiori?" ask Fino.

Kei sighed, then looked at the figure that was in front of him. Indeed, he thwarted Kei's plan a bit earlier. But come to think of it, it would be dangerous for Shiori and herself to say things like magic and Systems out in the open.

"It's okay. Let's get to the field" Kei said, laughing as he patted Fino on the back.
