The Death Game System

The Death Game System
Chapter 29 - Meeting

Krieett....

The sound of the door opening slowly, made Kei hold his breath for a moment.

In front of the door that was now perfectly open, stood the figure that Kei had been waiting for. No, not a figurative word, but Kei was really waiting for that figure, Shiori.

Kei just kept quiet, letting the wind blow away Shiori's hair, which looked solemn there.

("All right. I'll start here.") Kei thought.

"I waited long enough. I thought you weren't coming. Well, I wasn't expecting that much myself. But seeing that you are now here, it means that it is clear that you are taking seriously what happened earlier" Kei said welcoming Shiori with a smile.

Shiori herself did not reply, but just walked slowly, approaching Kei.

"Not really. But I am the one who occupies the promise, so I will come here no matter what." Shiori replied in a low tone.

("From the beginning, you brought me here, right? Don't tell me he forgot!") Kei heard that his expression changed slightly, but he tried to keep it up. Even so, Shiori kept walking, and stopped in front of Kei right now.

It was clearly seen once again, a figure that had been admired by the school community. A figure that makes men adore muja, and women approach him.

With beautiful long hair occasionally blown by the wind, and a pure white skin like spotless, Shiori stood before Kei, taking note paper and a pen, looking like she was going to write something.

His face which was the upper class of this school looked slightly flushed, perhaps from embarrassment or because the sunlight was beginning to dim. Her beautiful round eyes also looked at Kei, looking to have high expectations of him.

Of course, this was a very extraordinary sight for Kei. Shiori was like a princess painted by an outstanding artist, with a frame of nature surrounding her.

And that state was now in Kei's presence, taking his eyes off Kei while raising his left hand as high as his stomach, looking worried.

Clearly, there was no way Kei who was a single ngenes who dumped his girlfriend was unaffected by this.

Kei slightly averted his face, which flushed looking at Shiori. Especially considering the incident earlier when Shiori approached him, and got a confession from him. Kei could only throw his face away.

("Damn! After everything that happened, I can't stare at Shiori!!") think Kei.

Turning to look at Shiori, she looked calm. Although a bit of anxiety was emanating on his face. His cheeks were slightly red, while bit by bit peering towards Kei.

Shiori picked up the paper with the pen she was carrying, covering her mouth while looking straight at Kei.

"Key Kanata. I want to ask you a little." asked Shiori with a straight look, looking at Kei with eyes not playing games.

"Yes!!" soon, Kei's nervousness peaked. It made all the plans that were in Kei's mind crumble, and Kei replied with his straight back like taking an upright stance.

"Why..." Shiori asked softly.

"Why did you get to me that much?" ask Shiori slowly.

"U-uhm, what do you mean, Shiori?" ask Kei

"We shouldn't get involved very closely, should we? But right now, you seem very curious about me. Whereas there are some things that should not be your business, it kind of makes me curious." Shiori explained.

"..." - ".Kei was unable to say a word.

It was impossible for Kei to answer if Shiori was involved with something like a system. It will only add to the problems that will be seen with it.

"W-does that bother you?" kei asked slightly stuttered.

"Ahh, that's not.... Alright. I'm a little distracted by that. But..." Shiori turned her reddened face.

"But???"

"Thinking that you're really paying attention to me makes me more..... How say... I feel so happy. I was thinking whether you liked me, or you were watching me until it was like that. It makes me happier!!" shiori said with a bright face and eyes that flowered flowers.

Kei fell silent, staring at the creature before him. He was absolutely dazzling to Kei who lived in the darkness.

Seeing Shiori who said this, it was clearly a dream of almost all the men who were in her school. No exception Kei. But, Kei's expression looked dark with Shiori's statement. And along with that....

"Did?"

"You look too bright to me. Yep. Even for Shiori!!" answer Kei with emphasis. There was a strong feeling of anger in every word he said.

"W-what are you saying, Kei? I-I'm probably a cheerful person. But why am I so bright for you? And also, to myself?" shiori asked confusedly.

"You can usually say that in the form of Shiori..." Kei whispered softly, holding back the anger.

"I can't hear him! What's up?" the figure of "Shiori" there still looked at Kei with a worried look on his face.

"alright. Let me say it clearly. You're not Shiori!!" shout Kei.

Shiori looked slack and surprised for a moment, but it was only a split second. He quickly returned his changed expression easily.

"W-what are you saying! Stop saying weird things! I can even get angry, you know!" yelling "Shiori" puffed up the cheeks, looking annoyed. Not only that, all of her expressions depicted anger, but it still contained an overwhelming priesthood.

"I guess to just reject me is bad enough. But you've accused me of not. You are so cruel, Kei! What wrong?! Is it wrong that I love you?!!" shiori shouted furiously.

"Shiori" did not move any further, only covering her face with paper and a pen, while looking down, avoiding Kei's gaze. Her tears flowed softly from behind the paper, dripping onto the concrete where the two of them stood.

And of course, Kei was a little shaky looking at it all. Kei also slightly assumed that it was no ordinary acting, but he knew, he could not relax his attacks here.

"Nope-no. You may be able to fool others, but you can't fool me. I've been watching everyone's expressions, every time you say a word, every move, even your walking!!!" yelled Kei confidently.

"Did? What the fuck is that? It's disgusting." Shiori replied quickly.

His facial expression changed quickly. His eyes looked at Kei with a look like looking at trash. He also shifted slowly, trying to get away from Kei.

"N-that's not what I mean! Shitdarn!!!! All right, I'm just kidding!! I'm just kidding!!" kei's screams looked overwhelmed, looking at Shiori's mannerisms looking at him like a disgusting stalker.

"Uhm! Let me get this straight!!" Kei coughed once.

"Everyone has habits that no one else does. For example, the movement of two hands. Like me, Shiori had a habit of putting her right thumb when she put her fingers together. And just a moment ago, I found Shiori more often using the left thumb."

"It's a habit that's hard to change, and people who do it on purpose will be uncomfortable. And you did it accidentally. From there I could find that you were a different person." Kei explained at length.

The figure of "Shiori" there was only speechless listening to Kei's explanation, while several times jolted with his face facing down. It was unclear what expression he made, but Kei could not let go of this opportunity.

("I regained control of myself because I got a little emotional in there, but that's a good thing. I just have to put a little pressure on him, he'll obviously show his real face.")

Kei smiled a little, and immediately continued he said.

"Not only that. I also have a lot of other evidence to say that you are the other person inside Shiori's body. Wh why? Are you afraid that your secret will be revealed? Nnnnope. I have needs with you." muttered Kei at the end.

The corner of his eyes narrowed, looking at Shiori with a sharp gaze full of questions and coercion.

"Who are you, and what do you want with Shiori's body? How the hell did you do that? Why are you doing this.... Ahhh!!! If I think about it again, there are many things I want to ask you!!" said Kei while pouting slightly, random shuffling of his hair.

Shiori there just lowered her head in silence, doing nothing from now on. His mouth was flat, his eyes were cold. The atmosphere became heavy. There was no sound whatsoever, now, not even the wind blew at all.

Despite not seeing him in person, Kei knew that something unpleasant was coming.

"That's...." Shiori began to speak a little in the middle of that silence.

"Humm? Do you want to say something? Faster to be honest with me?" kei asked a little smile.

"Can you.." Shiori's voice showed no change, remaining as friendly as ever.

"Can I?" Kei tilted his head.

Shiori remained silent, staring down. But, he slowly moved his head, staring at Kei. His expression was blank, not describing anything. Until a terrible smile appeared along with a word he shouted.

"DEAD!!!"
