THE DEEPEST REGRETS OF ARROGANT CEOS

THE DEEPEST REGRETS OF ARROGANT CEOS

This afternoon, at the GOC office...

Lunch time is almost here. The employees have already completed their work for a while. The hour of rest that is only one hour is used as well as possible by them. Because they know his big boss doesn't like indiscipline very much. They also wait for lunch to come while joking.

There, in Jake's large study, a man sits tensely in front of Jake. This afternoon Jake asked him to come over to talk about something that made his heart beat. He was worried Jake would suddenly fire him.

It was Andrian who was sitting in front of Jake. He waited for Jake to talk to him. Jake is silent while typing something on his laptop. Shortly thereafter, he sent an email to someone. At that time he turned to Andrian who was waiting for him.

"How's the branch office doing?" Jake begins the conversation while leaning on his back.

"Good news, Mr. Jake. Some of the obstacles that occur it feels can still be overcome." Andrian answered.

Jake nodded slowly. He then took the map from inside his drawer. "Before thank you for your arrival, Mr. Andrian." Jake thanked me as he sat quietly leaning on the chair.

Andrian answered immediately. "It's my duty to fulfill the call of the company's chairman, Mr. Jake." Andrian smiled forcefully in front of Jake.

Jake nodded with a somber tinge on his face. He knew Andrian's body gestures were not like being called by him. But Jake must launch an attack today so the war can be quickly resolved. He has to win it.

Jake is not his name if he can not pull someone's heart with indifference. Jake smiled back at Andrian. A smile that has meaning in yet is deadly. He made Andrian relax before attacking.

Andrian swallowed his saliva. He felt Jake knew about him.

Andrian was nervous when asked about the incompatibility of the fuel cost report. He is the General Manager of GOC. Andrian was in charge of the reports from all the branch offices. Indirectly this question accused him of tampering with the company's report. Andrian is offended by Jake's accusations against him.

I don't think he'll ever find out about this.

Behind it all, it is true that Andrian has deviated from the fuel cost report. And it's because of that question that Andrian gets offended by Jake. Jake seems to know if Andrian did anything to the final report of all the branch offices. But he let Andrian enjoy the hundreds of millions of dollars alone. Andrian was being played. Jake wanted to trap him on purpose.

"I think there's been an error in the data input, Mr. Jake," Andrian told Jake.

"Data logging?"

"Yes. Is correct. There might be a receipt for the purchase of fuel that forgot to put in." Andrian alibi.

Jake seemed to be thinking about Andrian's answer. Andrian was looking for the right answer so that what he did was not found out.

"There are some fuel purchase data that are not listed in the estimate or report. Holding twenty branch offices is not easy, especially if you have to keep proof of purchase from all branch offices. I think the list of estimates needs to be made again so that the report findings can be in sync with the report I provide." Andrian explained.
