One week after Jie Yan broke through, Yu Mei led Jie Yan to a place she knew even though it was through rumors of information from all the herbs.
During the trip, Yu Mei also showed the location of several top-tier herbs that Jie Yan had happily harvested.
“Jie Yan, soon we will arrive!” Yu Mei who rode the roots gracefully, said as she looked towards Jie Yan in midair.
Jie Yan who was in the air, looked towards the many places seriously. The place they came to at this time was an arid land with a blackish-red soil color.
The aura emanating in the air was extremely gripping, the smell of death accompanied by spiritual power spreading in the fairly dense air.
“What is this place, is there anything unique with this land of death?” Jie Yan asked staring towards Yu Mei.
“Um, this place is said to be the Tomb of the Generals, I don't understand what it means. However, there are rumors from many plants that the former Little Dimension was inhabited by very many humans. But they are extinct.”
“Most of them fell here, I don't know the specifics of why they fell here. And it is said, some plants here spread information that many strange creatures with spiritual power are floating in many places, like looking for something.” said Yu Mei.
“A strange creature with spiritual power floating in many places? Why is this so similar to a wandering soul?” Inner Jie Yan.

“Come go. I was curious about what was inside this place.” Jie Yan said and immediately flew using his wings towards the arid place with the black sky followed by Yu Mei.
The longer Jie Yan and Yu Mei entered, the darker all the places were, the spiritual power that seemed to be trying to suppress everything that was there was also getting denser.
“This is indeed a land of death because the concept of Death here is very dense!” Inner Jie Yan. He had directly experienced the concept of Death from Xiao Ziya so he was very sensitive to such a thing.
If Xiao Ziya were to see such a place, it was certain that his body would cultivate the concept of Death near its peak if cultivating there, what more if Xiao Ziya's cultivation surpassed that of an Immortal Emperor.
“Jie Yan, there is a spiritual aura approaching.” Yu Mei said as she stopped controlling the roots.

The strange soul sensed that someone was looking at it and he immediately stared straight at the direction Jie Yan was in. A ferocious face seemed to be displayed by him and he instantly moved towards Jie Yan.
“There is wrong! This soul only has the instinct to devour like a wild beast without a brain that is very hungry!” jie Yan said in a serious tone.
“Teleportation!”

The soul was quick, he dodged then darted back towards Jie Yan while opening his mouth wide.
The Soul's mouth seemed to be filled with sharp fangs like that of a savage beast, aside from that, droplets of liquid which were the densities of spiritual power were seen in the soul's sharp teeth.
Jie Yan put a blank face towards the Soul that seemed to be about to devour him alive.
“Quick Time!”

Jie Yan appeared beside the Soul then slapped it like a fly. Only with a peak stage Eternal King level spiritual base would it not be able to injure him.
The soul slapped by Jie Yan bounced away then Jie Yan reappeared then suffocated the Soul using the spiritual power clad in his right hand.
“What strange creature is this?” Asked Yu Mei who had somehow appeared beside Jie Yan.
“This is the Soul, but it cannot get out of this place. Just by looking at him, I was sure that this place was able to bind one's soul, devour his rational mind and make them a Soul that only knows to prey on. But they have a strange instinct, which is to have one other purpose, looking for something in this place.” Jie Yan said as he gazed towards the Soul with his God Eyes.
Jie Yan was well aware that the soul's mind was only filled by devouring and searching for something.
“Oh.” Yu Mei was no longer interested in something like that and immediately exhaled her breath towards the Soul.

Using the concept of Fire, the Soul's body was instantly burnt to the ground which left Jie Yan speechless.
But Jie Yan knew that he could not extract any information from that Soul. And of course Yu Mei noticed it and immediately finished him off because that ugly Soul was very damaging to the scene in her opinion.
“Come go. I'm more and more interested in what those souls are really looking for.” Jie Yan said and flew straight away at full speed followed by Yu Mei riding on the roots.
During the journey, Jie Yan and Yu Mei constantly finished off souls without common sense. Both of them realized that the more they entered, the more powerful the Soul within them became.
“It seems that in this place there was indeed a big war before.” Jie Yan said as he stared at the many skulls, and many of those skulls turned to ashes when blown up by the wind a sign that the war that took place there occurred in the very distant past.
“Khaaaa..!”
Before Jie Yan and Yu Mei spoke again, a terrifying room sounded in a place not too far away.
Jie Yan's eyes narrowed and tried to look at a place very far away. But, what surprised him was, something that let out such a roar.
“Jie Yan, can you see it?” Yu Mei asked curiously.
“Yes, in a place far enough away, many strange Souls are trying to devour Souls of enormous size. And it is a soul.” Jie Yan said as he took a deep breath as he stopped his words then continued.
“A Dragon's soul!”
