Chapter 14: Options That Changed Fate

Lian and Eris continue their journey inside the increasingly complicated labyrinth. They had to face many obstacles and dangers that appeared in every corner of the passageway. After passing through several hallways, they found a large room decorated with ornaments and beautiful carvings.

"Wow, this is really beautiful," Lian said with admiration.

Eris nodded. "But we can't stay here too long. We have to keep looking for a way out" he said as he pointed towards the door at the end of the room.

Lian nodded in agreement, and they continued their journey. However, just as they were about to exit the room, the door was locked and they were unable to open it.

Lian and Eris tried to open the door at all costs, but it didn't work out. They were trapped inside the room and there was no way out.

Lian felt desperate and panicked. "What should we do now?" ask him anxiously.

Eris thought for a moment. "I have an idea" he said. "I can use my magic power to open this door. However, it will take a lot of time and energy. And when that happens, we'll be vulnerable to attacks from our enemies."

Lian nodded. "Do what you have to do. I will protect you" he said firmly.

Eris smiled and began the process. He concentrated his energy and began executing the magic spells he had learned over the years. Meanwhile, Lian stood in front of the door and watched every corner of the room in anticipation of the enemy attack.

After a while, the door finally opened and Lian and Eris walked out of the room. They feel relieved and grateful to be able to get out of a difficult situation.

"Thank you, Eris. You really saved us" Lian said with gratitude.

Eris smiled and shook her head. "We did it together, Lian. It's not just my success."

Lian nodded and felt grateful that she had a friend as good as Eris beside her. He knew that he would never be able to get through all these obstacles without Eris' help.

They continue their journey, hoping to find a way out of the complicated labyrinth. However, they still had to face many dangers and obstacles that were facing them. And one thing is certain, the choices they make in the future will change their fate forever.

They continued on their way and not long after they arrived at a large room. In the center of the room was a large door with a strange emblem engraved on it.

"Maybe that's the door we have to go through" Lian said as she pointed towards the door.

Eris carefully observed the emblem engraved on the door. "I'm not sure" he said. "It's too dangerous. There's something strange about this emblem."

Lian looked at Eris with a sharp look. "What should we do now?"

Eris thought for a moment. "I'm going to try throwing magic at the emblem and see what happens" he said.

Lian was worried. "Is it safe?"

Eris smiled. "Just calm. I know what I'm doing."

Eris cast magic onto the emblem. Suddenly, the door began to open on its own. They both felt relieved when they saw the door open.

The two of them stepped slowly into the door. Inside there is a large room with a lot of precious objects and beautiful jewels. They were fascinated by the beauty of the room.

Suddenly, a mysterious voice sounded behind them. "The two of you have no right to be here" the voice said.

Lian and Eris turned around and saw an old man in black robes before them. The man pointed his wand at them.

"Leave these things and leave right now" the man said.

Lian and Eris were terrified, but they did not want to leave those things alone. They had to fight to keep what they had and fight against the old man.

They took up a combat position and were ready to face the old man. A great fight ensues, with magic and a stick involved. However, in the end, Lian and Eris managed to defeat the old man and gain the right to hold the items.

They are happy and happy to continue their journey. They find out that there is still a lot they have to deal with and that their adventure in the underground world is not over. But they remain confident that with their courage and friendship, they will be able to overcome all the obstacles that lie ahead of them.

Lian nodded and got ready to fire her arrows. However, there was suddenly a strange sound from behind, and Lian turned her head to see what was happening.

Apparently, a large creature was approaching them from behind. The creature had a hairy body and two sharp fangs in front of it. Lian did not know what it was, but she could sense the danger at hand.

"Eris, careful!" he yelled at his friend while pulling his bow. "There's a creature behind us!"

Eris looked over and saw the creature. He smiled and said, "No need to worry, Lian. I can handle it."

Lian was a bit unsure, but she let Eris take over the situation. Eris pulled out a stick hidden under her cloak and started swinging it quickly. A bright blue light shot out from his staff and attacked the creature.

The creature whimpered and retreated a few steps, but then came back to attack. Eris continued to use her magic to fend off the creature's attacks, while Lian took the opportunity to fire her arrows. After a few minutes, they finally managed to defeat the creature.

Lian and Eris took a deep breath as they realized they had managed to overcome the threat. Lian was relieved that Eris was by her side, and they resumed their journey through the dangerous passageway.

A short while later, they finally arrived at a large room filled with sunlight. The light was so bright that Lian was forced to close her eyes for a moment. After his eyes got used to that light, he saw an incredible sight.

Lian and Eris felt enchanted by the beauty of the room, but they also felt relieved that they had managed to achieve their goal. They sit by the pool and contemplate their incredible adventures.

"You know, Lian," said Eris suddenly. "I feel like there's something strange about this underground world. There's a mysterious force at work here, and I feel that we haven't found all the answers."

Lian nodded, feeling the same tension. "I also feel that way, Eris," he said. "But I know one thing: I will never leave you alone in this underground world. We're gonna finish this together."

Eris smiled, moved by Lian's words. "Thank you," he said. "I'll never leave you alone either."

They continued their journey more carefully than before, walking calmly and alertly. They pass through dark alleys and increasingly intricate labyrinths, facing unexpected danger at every corner. However, they supported each other and helped each other, and made it through every obstacle they encountered.

After a while, they finally arrived at a large room located in the middle of the labyrinth. In the center of the room, there was a large stone located above the ground, with a strange mark engraved on it.

Lian and Eris approached the stone, trying to understand the meaning of the signs. However, suddenly, the stone began to tremble and billow a thick black smoke. Lian and Eris watched in horror as a large and dangerous creature came out from within the stone.

The creature attacked them ferociously, making Lian and Eris pressed into a corner of the room. However, they did not give up, and with their ability and courage, they managed to defeat the creature and save themselves.

After the fight was over, Lian and Eris looked at each other with a sense of awe and respect. They know that they have passed a very tough test and managed to survive the danger that threatens their lives.

"Let's continue our journey," Lian said, smiling at Eris. "We're almost at the end of this labyrinth. And I'm sure we can get through it together."

Eris nodded in agreement, pleased with Lian's words. The two of them walked together, stronger and closer than ever before, ready to face everything that might come their way in the future.

Eris smiled, feeling the warmth in her heart. "Thank you, Lian," he said. "I know I can count on you."

They walked through dark, narrow passages, navigating their way carefully so as not to get lost. They tried to avoid the ferocious creatures that emerged from the darkness. However, they still could not find a way out of this labyrinth.

After walking for some time, they finally came to a large room illuminated by a purple flame that was seen burning in the middle of the room. Lian and Eris saw an old woman sitting by the fire. He looked at them with a sharp gaze, and Lian sensed that there was something strange about the woman.

"Help us, grandma," Lian said politely. "We got lost in this underground world and looked for a way out."

The woman smiled. "You're looking for a way out, but you'll never find it" he said. "You're stuck here for good."

Lian and Eris looked at each other, feeling worried. They knew that they could not constantly be trapped in this underground world. They need to find a way out.

"Please, can you help me?" ask Eris.

The woman smiled again. "I can help you" he said. "But there is one condition: you must give me something of value."

Lian and Eris looked at each other again, thinking what they could give the old woman. However, they felt that they had no other choice.

"What do you want from us?" ask Lian.

The woman smiled. "I want you to give me something you won't be able to return to. Something very valuable to you. What do you want more than anything in the world?"

Lian and Eris looked at each other again, thinking about their answers. After a while, they finally said what they wanted in a loud and clear voice.

"I want to go back to my family" Lian said.

"I want to learn more powerful magic" said Eris.

The old woman nodded. "Alright, you give me something precious. You can get out of this underground world. But remember, you have to fight to keep what you want. You'll find trouble and danger out there. But if you are persistent and determined, you will succeed."

Lian and Eris thanked the old woman and continued their journey. They entered the dark passageways again, but this time with a different feeling. They, they feel more confident because they have each other and the experience they just gained.

They continued to walk through the winding passageways and continued to descend into darkness. Several times, they were faced with obstacles such as large rocks blocking the road, or water inundated in a narrow passageway. However, they managed to get through all those obstacles with their cooperation and skills.

Finally, after some time of walking, they found a tunnel that was bigger than before. This tunnel seems to lead to somewhere brighter. They started running towards the tunnel, their hearts filled with hope and excitement.

When they arrived at the end of the tunnel, they saw a bright light shining in the distance. They ran towards that light, and when they got there, they found something that surprised them.

In front of them, there was a large door made of wood and equipped with a rope. The door was open, and outside the door, they could see the rising sunlight spreading across the morning sky. They realized that they had managed to find a way out of that underground world.

Lian and Eris looked at each other, feeling great happiness and relief. They burst out of the door, saw the sky open and listened to the sound of birds chirping in the trees around them.

"We're finally out" Eris said in a melodious voice.

"Yes, finally," Lian said with a wide smile.

They looked towards that door, feeling a feeling of gratitude and respect for the old woman who had helped them cross the dark and dangerous underground world. In their hearts, they knew that their adventure was still not over and would always remember the struggles and experiences they had shared.
