Chapter 2: The Meeting with Eris

Lian walked down a dark passage filled with mud and boulders. He felt lonely and afraid in this unknown underground world. He ponders his bad luck and misses his family he left on the ground.

As Lian walked on, she felt the presence of someone nearby. He turned around and saw a mysterious woman standing in front of him. The woman had deep green eyes and long black hair that was draped over her shoulders. He wore a black and dark robe that made him seem like a shadow in the middle of the darkness.

"Who are you?" ask Lian, scared.

"I'm Eris" the woman replied in a soft voice. "I'm helping you to escape from this place."

Lian felt strange and scared. He did not know whether he should believe in this mysterious woman or not. However, he had no other choice but to follow her.

Eris leads Lian to a cave hidden inside the stone wall. Inside the cave, there was a small bonfire burning. Eris took out a small pouch from inside her robe and poured the white powder into the fire. The flames instantly turned blue, and the blue light was highlighting Eris's face. Lian is fascinated by Eris's magical abilities.

"It turns out you have incredible magic abilities" Lian said impressed.

"Magic is a miracle to be honored" replied Eris. "But, we can't rely on it completely here."

Lian pondered on Eris' words. He felt that Eris was a wise and experienced person.

"How do I get out of here?" ask Lian to Eris.

"We have to go through a complicated and dangerous maze" Eris replied. "However, I know how to get out of here. We just need to work together and be patient."

Lian was relieved that she had finally met someone who could help her get out of that terrifying underground world. He promises to help Eris achieve her goals and work together to survive.

On their journey, Eris teaches Lian about how to survive in a dangerous underground world. He teaches Lian how to get water and food, as well as how to avoid the vicious creatures that hide in the labyrinth.

Lian and Eris became closer during their journey. Lian felt that Eris was a very special person and had great strength in her. However, he also felt that Eris had a hidden secret.

Finally, after a few days of walking, they arrived at a large canal decorated with various colorful crystal ornaments. Lian and Eris were amazed to see the beauty before them.

"That's very beautiful" said Lian.

"Yes, this underground world has unexpected wonders" Eris replied.

But that beauty did not last long. They were suddenly attacked by a group of strange creatures that came out from within the water of the canal. The creatures had hard, thorny skin, and they attacked with sharp teeth and claws.

Lian and Eris join forces to fight the creatures. Lian tries to avoid their claws and teeth, while Eris casts her magic to freeze and destroy their enemies.

After a fierce fight, they managed to defeat all of the creatures. However, they knew that the danger would never be far from them in this underground world.

"Let's continue our journey" Lian said.

Eris nodded and the two continued their journey through the beautiful canal, while facing the new dangers that awaited at every corner. They both realize that their adventure in this underground world is still long, and they must continue to fight and work together to survive and find a way out of the deadly labyrinth.

Their journey through a complicated and dangerous maze. They passed through several narrow corridors that twisted and branched, several times almost the wrong way, but always managed to find a way out. As the sun begins to set, they discover a huge tunnel that seems to take them out of the labyrinth.

Lian and Eris drove cautiously, wary of any danger that might arise. They move slowly along the tunnel, with the torch fire being carried by Eris as a light source. However, as they approached the end of the tunnel, strange noises began to be heard from the distance.

"Eris, did you hear that?" lian asked, raising her ear.

Eris nodded, "Yes, I heard it. I'm afraid this is a bad sign. We have to be careful."

When they arrived at the end of the tunnel, they saw a terrifying scene: a camp belonging to a group of terrifying creatures. The creatures appear to be a combination of giant insects and spiders, with long hair dangling from their heads. They were busy performing magical rituals around the campfire, while singing in a eerie melodious voice.

Lian and Eris hid behind a boulder and noticed the creatures. They're trying to figure out if there's a safe way out of the camp. However, they feel increasingly trapped when Lian accidentally hits a rock and makes a noise.

The creatures soon realize their existence and begin to move towards Lian and Eris' hideout. In an instant, they were surrounded by those creatures armed with swords and bows.

Lian and Eris fought tenaciously, dodging the attacks of the creatures and replying to them with their magic and swords. They take turns protecting each other from the attacks of their enemies. However, the number of creatures continued to grow, and there seemed to be no end.

Suddenly, Eris fell down after being kicked by the attacking creatures from behind. Lian screamed and immediately ran towards her, trying to save her from the invading creatures. He grabbed Eris' hand and pulled her back, trying to keep her away from the attack.

However, late. One creature manages to attack Eris and push her to the side of the wall. Eris drooped limp on the ground, blood flowing from the wound on her head.

Lian looked at Eris in horror, and panic began to take hold of her. He felt like he was losing his way and didn't know what to do. However, he quickly took a deep breath and tried to concentrate his mind. He knew that if he didn't act fast, Eris would die.

Lian grabbed the magic wand she was wearing and put it into the ground. He felt magic energy flowing into him, awakening the power and abilities buried within. With his magic power, Lian unleashed a huge attack towards the creatures that were attacking them.

The attack caused a powerful explosion, making the creatures retreat a few steps. However, it's not enough. They began to attack again, this time more fiercely and hatefully.

Lian did not give up. With his magic abilities constantly evolving, he began to fight back, unleashing increasingly powerful and effective attacks. The creatures started to get desperate, and they quickly fell down one by one.

After a while of struggling, Lian finally managed to defeat all of the creatures. He looked towards Eris, and saw that she was still alive, even though her condition was not good. Lian immediately approached him, took care of his injuries, and tried to resuscitate Eris.

Within minutes, Eris woke up, and they both felt relieved. However, they also realize that they have to keep moving, as their time is getting less and less. They again walked towards the exit, hoping that they would not find another more dangerous obstacle in front of them.

Eris looked exhausted and in pain. Blood flowed from the wound on his leg, and he muttered in difficulty as Lian tried to check on the wound.

"Lian, hurry. They will be back soon" said Eris, trying to get up. "We need to get out of here."

Lian thought of a way to stop the creatures, but she felt unable to do so. He felt desperate and afraid. But Eris did not stop. He grabbed Lian's hand and said, "Let's go now!"

They ran as fast as they could to leave the creatures and kept running until they found a locked door. Lian tried to open it, but the door could not be opened with physical force.

Eris smiled and said, "Let me do it." He closed his eyes and stomped his staff to the floor. A bright blue light shone from his staff and the locked door was instantly opened.

Lian was surprised and asked, "How did you do it?"

Eris replied, "This is magic, Lian. I can open the locked door by using magic. You'll learn about it as time goes on."

They continued on their way and finally made it out of the labyrinth. They were breathless and exhausted, but they were relieved that they had survived.

After exiting the labyrinth, Eris and Lian returned to their tent. They rest and talk about their adventures.

"You are so brave, Lian," said Eris with a smile. "You have helped me and protected me from those creatures."

Lian was happy to hear that. He felt proud and happy that he could help Eris. They talked all night, exchanged stories and talked about their next plan.

Meanwhile, Eris felt something different about her. He felt that Lian was a very important person to him, and he felt comfortable being around her. He felt that there was a feeling growing within him, but he could not express it. He was still afraid of what happened during their next adventure. However, Eris promises in her heart that she will always protect Lian and together they will complete this adventure.
