Chapter 23: The Fight Between Friends

Lian felt her heart take a hit as she discovered that Eris had been conspiring with their enemies from the very beginning. He could not believe that the woman who had helped him all this time was a traitor. However, when Lian looked at Eris's sad face, she knew that there was more than betrayal in Eris.

"Eris, why are you doing it?" lian asked, her voice filled with disappointment.

Eris shook her head, "I have no choice, Lian. They forced me to do it. I don't want to hurt anyone, including you."

Lian pondered for a moment before finally saying, "I don't know if I can forgive you. But I know that we have to stop our enemy first. We can finish our business later."

Eris nodded, "Thank you, Lian."

Lian and Eris join their enemies and prepare for the upcoming big fight. Lian felt alert as she looked around and looked around for any signs of danger that might appear.

Lian nodded, "I'll try, Eris. But I need time."

Eris understood and both of them were silent for a moment before Lian finally said, "But, I want you to know that I am very impressed with your magic abilities. We might be able to work together to deal with the dangers in this underground world."

Eris smiled faintly. "I also feel that we can help each other, Lian. We're gonna need the strength and skills we have to get out of here."

Lian nodded. "But how do we get out of here? We've tried a few doors and they're all locked."

Eris looked at Lian with a sharp look. "There's something I haven't told you. There was a secret door in this labyrinth that could only be opened with a certain magic power. I think I can open it."

Lian surprised. "Disclosure doors? How do you know about that?"

Eris smiled mysteriously. "I've been here before. I have a few tricks that can help us get out of here."

Lian was suspicious. "You're hiding a lot of things from me, aren't you?"

Eris smiled. "I'm not hiding anything, Lian. I just don't want to worry you or not believe me. I want to help you."

Lian pondered for a moment, then nodded. "All right, let's try. But I'll stay alert."

Eris nodded. "Of course, Lian. We must be wary of any possibility in this underground world."

They then continue their journey towards the secret door called by Eris. Lian feels closer to Eris and she begins to feel that they can depend on each other to survive in this dark and terrifying underground world. However, he still feels that there are some secrets that Eris has not revealed, and he is determined to find out what they are.

"Yes, we will find out about this secret together," Eris replied gently, "We can start by exploring this underground world even deeper. There may be clues or important information we can find."

Lian nodded in agreement, "Alright, let's do that. We have to move fast, because time goes on."

Eris smiled, "I agree. We'll find the answers to all our questions, Lian. But before that, we should focus on our current tasks."

They continue their journey through an intricate labyrinth, paying attention to every detail along the way. They try not to attract the attention of the ferocious creatures that are around them, and move carefully to avoid traps and other dangers.

Suddenly, the two of them were shocked by the loud noise near them. They turned around and saw a large group of creatures approaching them quickly.

"There's no other way, we have to fight," Eris said sternly.

"Is that what we're looking for?" Lian asked, mesmerized by the beauty of the jewel.

Eris nodded, "It seems so. Come on, let's take it and figure out what we should do next."

They approached the jewel, but suddenly they were ambushed by a group of large creatures that suddenly appeared in front of them. The two of them were startled and ready to fight, but suddenly Eris fell unconscious.

Lian was confused and surprised, "Eris! What's going on?"

The creatures approach and Lian must fight alone. He felt fear and anxiety without Eris' help, but he continued to fight with courage and perseverance.

Finally, he managed to defeat the creatures and ran to the side of Eris.

Lian was confused. "What's going on? Whatchu mean?"

"What do I mean?" reset Eris. "You almost died at the hands of those creatures, Lian! You almost died of your own carelessness, and you think we can work together? You're crazy!"

Lian was horrified. He had never seen Eris so angry. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean it that way" Lian said in a soft voice.

"No, you mustn't apologize" Eris replied. "You must learn from your mistakes and stop acting impulsively. Otherwise, you'll die here."

Lian was upset. He knew Eris was right, but he felt judged. "I know I'm wrong, but I try to do my best" Lian said in a stifled voice.

Eris sighed. "Lian, I don't mean to judge or make you feel bad. But we are in a dangerous underground world. We have to be careful and work together if we want to survive."

Lian was embarrassed. He knew Eris was right, but he didn't want to feel like a punished child. However, he also knew that he could not do it alone. He needs Eris' help.

"I know you're right" said Lian. "I'll try better. And I promise you, I won't worry you anymore."

Eris looked at Lian with a softer look. "alright. Let's move on. We still have a lot of roads to go."

Lian nodded. He is relieved that he and Eris are back friends. They walked together into the next hallway, ready to face whatever was in front of them.

Lian was relieved that Eris finally agreed to cooperate with him. Although his heart was still wounded, he believed that Eris would choose the best for both of them.

"We did it" Lian said happily. "We're out of here."

"But you have to stay alert" Eris said seriously. "We don't know yet what's waiting for us out there."

Lian nodded and they walked out of that door. They arrived at a hill in the scorching sun. After a moment of rest, they started walking towards the direction of the nearest city.

When they arrived in the city, they realized that they were already in a very different world. They saw clothes and technology they were not familiar with before. But they're both together, and that's the most important thing.

They lived in the city for some time, finding out about their new world and trying to live a normal life. Eris continues to train Lian in magic, and Lian learns to be more patient and careful.

However, one day, their calm is interrupted by the arrival of a group of black magicians who are looking for Eris. They attack the city and kidnap Eris in front of Lian.

Lian is angry and tries to save Eris, but she is not ready to fight the witches alone. He felt desperate, but he knew he had to act quickly. He planned an attack on his opponents, but he needed help from people he could trust.

Lian ran towards the place where she knew she would meet some of her friends whom she had known for a long time. He explains the situation and they plan to attack the black magician and save Eris.

Another group of witches besieged their last enemy, and finally managed to defeat him. However, the victory came at a very expensive price. Lian was sacrificed for the safety of the group. Everyone was feeling sad, including Eris, who felt that the loss of a person meant so much to her.

With a heavy heart, the group of magicians opened a huge door and found a way out of that underground world. They return to the surface, and Eris decides to leave the group and return to her world. However, she will never forget Lian and her great sacrifice to save them all.
