The Fate of Narendra Women

The Fate of Narendra Women
64. What's a Mistake?

Kamila already knew sooner or later something would happen, but he did not expect that before that Aether tried hard to soak it.

After three days of not seeing Kamila, Aether appeared with Lily, saying she would contact Amarilis so they could discuss the matter in its entirety.

It was hard for Kamila not to feel tense. Demeter's words haunted her from yesterday, leaving Kamila unable to stop thinking that it was all her fault, and that was her responsibility.

"Connect," Aether ordered as soon as the three of them sat on the sofa, waiting for the projection of Amaryllis to appear on the walls of the room.

"Young Master." Amaryllis greeted Aether first, as a form of respect.

"Auntie, how are you?" Aether started with a bit of talk. "How's Auntie doing?"

"Well as you can see, Young Master."

"I'm grateful, then." But, Aether did not let the bases drag on. "I think Auntie understands the situation?"

"Your mother just visited yesterday afternoon, Young Master. He told me the request of Young Master Iaros."

"Yes, Auntie. And I want to prevent it."

The opening of the Aether has clearly shown the direction of the conversation.

Kamila closed her eyes, frightened and confused.

"There's something I want to ask you first, Auntie." Aether stared at Amarilis with resolute eyes showing her position as a candidate for leadership. "Why did Auntie let Iaros and Kamila's relationship flourish?"

Kamila's eyes silently looked at her mother. Seeing clearly when the woman was moody, it was as if something was stuck in her throat.

"I'll get Kamila and Lily out if Auntie feels like she can't talk about it."

Kamila's feelings are getting tense. All this time, all she knew was that her mother and Lily hated Kamila. But, the piece of memory Iaros took from him showed that they used to be together.

It didn't happen as suddenly as Kamila remembered.

She was sure that her mother and Lily loved her.

"Only one of them can marry, Young Master." Amaryllis stared softly at Aether's eyes. "Regulations don't allow them to get anything other than what is allowed."

That again. Aether clenched its hands firmly when it again had to face the grievous turmoil of the rebels.

Why is all this suddenly going on? Why does it feel like all dissatisfaction is mounting? Six generations went on, five generations above them, why did none of them feel dissatisfied for a while now, as if everything was wrong?

"You're right. I let it happen." Amaryllis smiled with crying eyes at Kamila. "At that time, I thought Lily was the one who was going to get married. Young Master Iaros had liked Kamila from the very beginning. And when I knew that, I just thought that their relationship might be able to go on in silence."

What does it mean like a blood relationship in Narendra? Like Demeter and Dionysus. The two of them kept love for each other, regardless of anything, but they established a relationship in silence without whispering things like Dionysus's wife, or their parents who are both the same person.

Aether does not blame the decision. If Iaros had been in such a relationship with Kamila, none of these problems would have happened.

"I'm trying to convince myself that Young Master's feelings aren't dangerous."

That's not the wrong wish.

"But then the mad man put the heart of Kamila's future husband into Lily's hands." Amaryllis wept looking at her two daughters who were also crying. "The man forced them into fear because of his own desire. Tell me, Young Master, is that my fault?"
