The Feng Zun Journey

The Feng Zun Journey
Ming Yang

The old blind man said, “At first there was nothing worth noting from the old Daoist, he just looked depraved and lewd, but as you know well, he just looked lecherous, that our bloodline has mastered the Light of the Netherworld Lantern. Although they were very faint, at first glance I could tell that there was a trace of the turbid Qi of the Sea of Tribulation on him!

“Qi murky of the Sea of Tribulation.” Feng Zun's gaze immediately focused.

Netherworld was home to many danger zones or forbidden territories, and the Sea of Tribulations was one of them.

They say that it is so vast that there is no limit, therefore there was once a verse, “Lautan Perversions is unlimited. You should return to the beach.”

Even an immortal God pinnacle expert would not dare venture into the Sea of Tribulations so easily.

The reason was simple, it was because the air above the Sea of Tribulations contained a kind of turbid qi capable of damaging one's Grand Dao foundation. The turbid Qi was able to weaken the strength of the cultivators, lower their cultivation base, even damage his organs and soul!

In the past, Feng Zun had once crossed the Sea of Tribulation with his teacher using the Ark of the Universe. Back then, he was on a mission to the Hun World, to save his mother, Lin Hua.

He was naturally well aware, that anyone who had explored it and was able to return alive, then that person was not at all simple!

“That was even more shocking, when the old Daoist saw me, he seemed to feel something, and he took the initiative to start a conversation.” said the blind old man, then a little weirdness in his expression when he came back saying, “In addition, when we spoke, he mentioned your name.”

This naturally shocked Feng Zun, "Does he know me?"

The blind old man had a strange expression on his face and said, Old “Taoist said that the day you entered the Nine Furnace City, he knew that you were no ordinary person. Therefore, he used an artifact to see the secret behind your fate. In the end, he failed to unravel any mysteries, and the attempt destroyed his precious artifact instead.”.

Feng Zun's eyebrows shot up, he said, "Do you know where he saw me?"

The corner of the blind old man's lips twitched, then replied, "In front of the Flower Pavilion."

Su Chi who had been silent for quite a while, suddenly gasped when he heard the place.

Su Chi's gaze changed unexpectedly, everyone in the Nine Furnace City knew that the Flower Pavilion was a very famous brothel.

Although he understood what Su Chi was thinking. How could Feng Zun possibly concern himself with the change in his expression?

After thinking for a moment, he suddenly realized, “So, the old man is the one trying to play girls for free.”

Indeed, he remembered the old man.

On his first day in the Nine Furnace City, he visited the Flower Pavilion to save Han Mei from the hands of the ancient demon Siong Bao. Before entering the brothel, he saw their security guards beating an old Daoist and throwing him out of the building.

The old man even shouted about 'he wouldn't have to pay if he wanted to sleep with one of the girls there', and made a thunderous laugh.

“Indeed true, it's the same perverted old man. He is very immoral, but I am sure his origin is not simple, ” said the blind old man. “In addition, I strongly suspect he will come looking for you.”

"Did he come after me?" asked Feng Zun.

“He told me that he lost his precious artifact because of you, and that he was eager to make you compensate for the loss. But in my view, this is not about a destroyed artifact. He wants to meet you, definitely for another reason, ” said the blind old man.

Feng Zun pondered this.

Up until now, he had met two people who had come here through the Netherworld.

The first was the blind old man from the Mystery Lantern Clan.

The second was the father of Yin Ying, Yin Guan.

There was also one of the ancient factions that had deep connections with the Netherworld, it was the Hall of Wisdom.

Moreover, their ranks included the descendants of the Ghost Serpent Clan, one of the Netherworld's Top Nine Clans.

But according to the blind old man, it was highly likely that the old Daoist was from the Netherworld as well, and furthermore, he was likely to have once ventured in the dangerous Sea of Tribulations!

If that were true, then that would be one thing.

But it seemed obvious that the old daoist was chasing him!

Since the Daoist was so mysterious and not simple, Feng Zun had no choice but to take this matter seriously.

"Do you know his name?" asked Feng Zun.

The blind old man said, “He said that his destiny was always stricken with calamities and also stricken with misery, and he had actually spent his entire life wandering viciously, saying, but he was also unable to get rid of his bad luck. Because of that, many people called him Old Daoist Ming Yang, 'Again Netherworld'."

Feng Zun stroked his chin, “Again Netherworld? It was a very unlucky bird, like the god of the plague. Others were afraid and wanted to escape from the bird, but this old Daoist actually made it his title? That's actually kind of interesting.”

He paused, then asked, "Did he know your origin?"

The expression of the blind old man changed erratically. “Although I could not figure this out, I felt that the old man had caught some clues. Otherwise, when we first met by chance, he would not have taken the initiative to talk to me.”

Feng Zun thought for a moment, "Did he say something else?"

The blind old man shook his head.

Feng Zun seemed to have no further questions. If Old Daoist Ming Yang really set his sights on him, sooner or later he would definitely appear by himself.

When the time came, he would naturally get the answer.

That was when the blind old man seemed to feel something. He suddenly raised his head, and his hollow eye sockets stared at the distant pavilion.

"Your Majesty, who lives there?" he asked with great caution.

Feng Zun turned his head and saw that the building the blind old man saw was the pavilion where Han Mei lived.

Before Feng Zun could ask any questions, a beam of crystal-clear and ice-cold light descended from the distant sky vault.

That light was heading towards Han Mei's pavilion!
