The Feng Zun Journey

The Feng Zun Journey
Back In Jade Town

Five days later

The eighth day of the eleventh lunar month.

Near the southern border of the Long Empire, Jade City, also known as the Little Jade City.

This was the first city that Feng Zun had visited after arriving in the Long Empire. It was here, at the small jade city ghost market, that he first met the blind old man of the descendant of the Mystery Lantern Clan.

Room by the window, on the second floor of a restaurant.

Feng Zun, Han Mei, Zhenyu, Yin Ying, and Zhuan Long were eating and drinking together.

“Three months ago, I and Young Master met Brother Zhuan Long in the Green Ice Valley, Phyton Cloud Mountain."

Yin Ying said with some emotion, “At that time, we were still traveling with Daoist Partner Haoran and Miss Tianba."

“Now after only three short months, the Young Master's cultivation has made tremendous progress. When I recall our experience in Long Empire, I almost felt like I was dreaming.”

As long as he had been in the Luo Mainland, Yin Ying had been shackled for so long. So this journey made his heart feel a little emotion.

Zhuan Long could not help but smile, he also felt touched.

During his journey with Feng Zun, he had learned deeply that sometimes, choosing the right person to follow could change one's entire destiny!

Three months ago, he was still only a Phyton Demon Beast that could not even take on a human form.

Now, he was already a medium stage Immortal cultivator!

If he were to recall the extent of his transformation now, how could his heart not be moved?

This was what they meant when they said that, if one person obtained the blessing of the Grand Dao, even ants and grasshoppers, would be able to ascend to heaven!

"Even if we change more, our changes will not be able to keep up with the changes that will happen in the coming year."

As Feng Zun spoke he finished his cup of wine and stared out the window.

It had been five days since he left the Nine Furnace City, crossing through many provinces and cities. He has seen some changes.

The spiritual energy around, was increasing with each passing day.

It was still rare, but the trend was enough to affect cultivators all over the world!

Deep within the mountain wilderness, countless spiritual savage beasts destroyed the shackles of their cultivation, and achieved a new breakthrough.

In the various ancient factions, countless cultivators who had long been trapped and experienced bottlenecks in his cultivation, managed to gather enlightenment into the footsteps of the heaven and earth Grand Dao. In doing so, they experienced a shocking growth in their cultivation.

Even ordinary martial artists scattered throughout the mortal world, had obtained all sorts of benefits from the increasingly dense spiritual energy.

The reason was simple, it was because the spiritual energy of Mainland Luo was too little before!

Although the Long Dynasty was the largest of all empires, its hegemon was already beyond doubt. Only the main factions that possessed the blessed land here, were able to cultivate and train the combat prowess of their disciples.

However, things were different now, the surrounding spiritual energy was increasing every day, benefiting all cultivators under the heavens throughout the land!

This is what is called the 'unbiased blessing of heaven'. Blessed rain fell evenly, indiscriminately.

Indeed, the spiritual energy around was still not as dense as expected.

However, as spiritual energy increased, the presence of the Grand Dao also increased.

This made it much easier for world cultivators to gain enlightenment in each of his cultivations!

Its growth was like a grass that surged after the spring rain!

This is a change in heaven and earth.

Although this was only the beginning, and although they had yet to welcome the true Radiant Age, as long as things continued like this, the world would definitely undergo a very significant transformation.

This would have an enormous influence on the division of the power map, in every living being under the heavens!

Feng Zun's explanation moved Han Mei, Zhenyu, and the others.

For the past five days, even they had detected the difference in the surrounding energy.

It was indeed getting easier to sense the traces of the Grand Dao when they were cultivating.

So much has changed, and this is just the beginning. It was impossible to imagine how far the changes would go, after the Radiant Age actually came to them, and what kind of extraordinary situation would emerge.

“It has been quite a while, and now Miss Shuoxue has most likely already made it back to the Divine Sword Palace,” Han Mei said gently.

Feng Zun nodded.

When they left the Nine Furnace City, Shuoxue had accompanied them for the first two days of the journey before parting ways and setting out on her own.

Moments before they parted, they all knew that the graceful beautiful woman was reluctant to leave.

"Let's visit the city's god temple for a bit, then leave immediately."

Feng Zun said shortly afterwards. He finished his cup, got up, and left the restaurant.

When traveling to the Middle Continent, Feng Zun was in no hurry. On his way back to the Han Dynasty, he was in no hurry either.

Watching mountains and water, observing heaven, earth, and all living things in all their aspects, seeing firsthand the tides of nature…

Everything he saw and felt along the way was a form of cultivation.

The City God Temple

Incense lit up in front of the altar, in the Temple was a sea of humans, most of them worshippers.

A temple is hung on the side of the temple gate :

“As long as it is your life, it is up to you whether to collect the reward or commit an act of evil.”

“Since the beginning, Netherworld has never ignored anyone.”

At the time of Feng Zun's first visit to Jade City, he also visited this temple.

He stopped here again on his way home because of one of the statues in the temple.

Soon, Feng Zun, Han Mei, Yin Ying, and his other companions had arrived at the main hall of the temple.

Ninety-foot tall statue loomed in it.

The statue depicts a woman with a slender figure. At the top, she was the figure of a goddess-like beautiful woman, while at the bottom of her waist, her body was a circular snake. One hand formed a seal, and the other hand held a lotus-shaped lantern and held it up high.

Believers, willingly queue to enter, light incense, kneel, and pray. Their expressions were solemn, and they murmured the silk stanzas quietly.

When he saw the statue, Feng Zun inevitably felt a slight strangeness.
