Chapter 30 Pets
The white lion walked up to Cokro Negoro and Wisanggeni who was sitting in front of the club. The beast rubbed its head against the feet of the Cokro Negoro with full obedience, and the old man immediately stroked his head.
"Singo Ulung.., you're the one who brought this young man? Somehow the way you brought him here, but we've been paired with this young man. His name is Wisanggeni, greet him!" Cokro Negoro spoke to the white lion, as if talking to a fellow human.
The white lion looked into the eyes of the brown negoro with dim eyes, the old man nodded his head. The white lion then went to Wisanggeni, then did the same at the young man's feet. Wisanggeni smiled, then he did the same thing as Cokro Negoro, his hand he put on the head of the white lion, then slowly stroked the soft feathers on the head of the animal.
"Wisang.., Lion Ulung.., befriend you! Even without deliberate intent, this pet of mine has already chosen you as its new master. I will be able to calmly live my meditation, I leave this Ulung lion to you! Lion Ulung..., from now on Wisang is your new Master, obey him, and participate take care of wherever he is!" Cokro Negoro delivered a message to Wisanggeni and the animal that slept at his feet.
"Sorry Ki Cokro.., instead I refuse to make this Singo Ulung as my pet. However, it seems impossible if I will take him on an adventure, which will somehow end. People will be scared and away from me, if I bring the Deer Lion." with worry, Wisanggeni refused to make the Ulung Lion as his pet.
"He.he.he.., I was guessing you would definitely reject it. Couldn't you meet this beast, since you were intending to capture it?" said Cokro Negoro while chuckling.
Wisanggeni face immediately flushed with shame, in that night he was tempted to catch the animal with Joko, Laksito, and Kodir. But when he was offered to make it as a pet, he refused.
"There's no need to be ashamed. I know.., you have no heart to refuse your friends' invitation to kill the Ulung Lion. The beast also cursed you, so he still brought you here, didn't he?? There is a unique scent in your body, which makes him choose you young man. Don't worry, Ulung Lion won't let you down." with a smile, Cokro Negoro spoke with wisdom to Wisanggeni.

"Thank you Ki Cokro, I will not refuse the gift that has been given to me." finally Wisanggeni received the Ulung Lion to be his pet.

Warm sunlight shone on the body of the young man who was currently standing on the cliff. The two interlocked in front of his chest formed a symbol.with both eyes tightly closed, while his breath was sharp but deep. He stood in position for a very long time, even until noon when the sunlight was right on top of his head, he had not yet moved to change position. The trembling he did not feel, before hearing the cue to stop he would remain in that position.
Slowly the young man opened his eyes, then straightened his legs and sat on the cliff with a foot. He turned his head up, and saw the dim twilight begin to show his face. The white lion nimbly came to the man then rubbed his head against his side.
"You're asking me to go back to the hut soon, right?? I'll take a shower first, wait downstairs." Wisanggeni smiled at the white Lion, then stroked his head.
"Byurrr.." The tears under the cliff churned violently, as Wisanggeni's body plunged free from the top of the cliff. The young man's body instantly dived into the water for a while, then gushed his head back out into the water. In his hand already carried 3 large size fish, then threw them to the side of the spring.
The white lion was asked to wait below, unexpectedly jumping from the top of the cliff following Wisanggeni. The two swam for a moment, then Wisanggeni pulled over followed by a white lion behind him. He then cleaned the fish from its scales and feces.
"You're naughty yeah, don't obey me. Asked to wait, he even jumped here" said Wisanggeni to the white lion while pulling his ear.
The white lion wags its fur to dry the water attached to its feathers.
"Let's go back to the club, Ki Cokro must have been waiting for us!" Wisanggeni then stepped out of the spring, followed by a white lion walking behind him. The wild beasts that were still plentiful in the forest, immediately stepped aside to see the king of the forest walking with a young man.
Arriving at the hut, Cokro Negoro was lighting a fire in front of the hut, with a black cauldron on top. The pungent fragrant smell of the rhizomes of medicinal plants that were being boiled pierced Wisanggeni's nose.
"Aki's boiling medicine huh??" ask Wisanggeni curious.
"Yes.., later after a while, later tonight use this boiled water for you to soak. You caught a Wisang fish?" tanya Cokro Negoro's.

A while later, the pungent smell of the burnt fish was already tempting to enjoy. Cokro Negoro smiled then brought a decoction of tubers to be enjoyed with grilled fish.
"If it is ripe, turn off the fire Wisang. Let's wait for the boiled water to cool, soak your body later tonight. Now let's eat that grilled fish with this tubers stew."
