Chapter 9 Travel
Wijanarko smiled as he unrolled the ejection sent by the pair of pigeons, his heart feeling delighted at getting the letter his father had written. But the smile slowly disappeared while reading about the loss of his youngest brother's strength, and now his sister was alone outside the store. Seeing the change in her brother's expression while reading the letter, Linduadji immediately approached her brother.
“There's word from who's kakang? Seems like Akang seriously meant it?” in a quiet voice, Linduadji asked Wijanarko.
“News from dadnda Dhimas.., read it yourself! Ayahnda reported bad news about Dhimas Wisanggeni.” Widjanarko held out a scroll to Linduadji.
The second son of Ki Mahesa immediately welcomed a speech from his brother, then quickly opened and read the contents written by his father.
“Buk..” sound wall hit by Linduadji to express his disappointment at the news sent his father.
“What's the matter Sir, does anyone bother Mr Adji?” some Widjanarko's men ran to his Master who looked emotional.
“Come back to your respective places! Me and Dhimas Adji are talking about an important matter.”
“Sendiko Tuan, we are allowed to return to our respective places.”
After his men, the room was deserted. Widjanarko and Linduadji were both stuck in their minds. After a while..,
“Where about the departure of Wisang kakang? And what caused his strength to suddenly disappear?” Linduadji asked Widjanarko.
Widjanarko sighed, then..
“We both do not know the answer Adji. Coincidentally ten of our men will escort the Sentono family to Mount Arimbi. We can leave it to them, who knows can find Dhimas Wisang.”
“When surely they will leave Kakang? Or am I the one who commanded me to lead the traveling party?”

After a long walk in the middle of a dense forest, Wisanggeni stopped and saw that time was approaching dusk. He looked back, seeing Larasati who was picking flowers that grew a lot there.
“Laras.., we have to rest first! The day seems to have changed twilight, we must immediately find and build a place to stay. If I'm alone, I can sleep anywhere, even on a tree. But right now, with you there's no way I'll let you sleep on a tree.” Wisanggeni spoke with Larasati.
“I speak to you Baras, do I need to repeat it?”

“Is it true that you said Laras? All right.., let's go there soon.” Wisanggeni immediately prepared to continue the journey, even he forgot to be with a girl who was injured.
“Kang Wisang..., wait for me!” larasati shouted as the man was far away from where he was walking.
Wisanggeni looked back, then he waited for Larasati who was still walking limping by wearing a wooden stick.
“Sorry Laras.., I forgot that your foot is hurting. Since we're soon time-hunting, we'll have to find the cave and clean it up first. Before it is clean, we will not be possible to use it to rest.”
“Iya kang, but I have to slow down. Since my legs have not fully recovered, maybe after sleeping rest, my feet will immediately put Back in its position.”
“To be a little faster, let me just hold you Laras.” just finished talking, Wisanggeni has raised Larasati's body and then carried it behind his body.
Larasati directly embraced the man's body with flushed cheeks, as she did not expect that the man would perform before getting an answer from him. Wisanggeni ran for some time, though,..
“Stop kang! It seems that under that big palanquin tree, I've seen that cave there. Then about twenty meters from there, there was another cave. We can use both as our residence for a while.” Larasati shouted as she pointed to the enormous tree of her tree trunk.
Wisanggeni immediately stopped his steps, and he carefully lowered the girl he was carrying.
“Please wait here first Laras, I will check it first!”
The man then walked over by taking out the dagger from its sheath, quickly heading straight for the spot Larasati was pointing at. He cleaned up the many piles of dried leaves and twigs behind the huge palanquin tree, and his eyes suddenly glowed with delight. He looked at the mound of stone in front of him, and there was a huge boulder covering the door. With great difficulty, the man managed to get rid of the boulder, and appeared before him an entrance into the cave.
Since the cave was under a huge tree, only darkness could he see in front of him. Wisanggeni then took out a fire-making device from inside the ladybug, after lighting it he saw the scenery in the cave.
“It looks like someone who has lived here before.” Wisanggeni.
Seeing that there was a centir or wick lamp attached to the wall, the man then lit it with a fire-making device in his hand. The amazing scenery he could see, because once one centir was lit, it turned out that the fire spread on other senthirs that many surrounded the cave walls. The cave room became bright, and made it easy for Wisanggeni to clean it.
“For a while me and Laras sleep first in one cave. There are two places we can sleep separately. I no longer have the energy to look for the existence of the other cave.” Wisanggeni thought while cleaning the cave.
After the inner cave is clean, Wisanggeni intends to invite Larasati to rest first. But the man was surprised not to see the girl where she had left him.
“Laras.., Laras..., where are you?” shouts Wisanggeni looking for the girl. He felt a sense of responsibility towards the girl who had wanted to come with him.
