At the inn
Wisanggeni looked at his daughter Parvati who walked out of the inn to a beggar-requestor. The young girl gave some coins to the requestors, then saw the hair ornament seller in front of the inn. The eyes of the young girl blinked, looking at the various shapes and colors of the hair ornaments, and the bross was very attractive to look at.
"Is Nimas Rengganis also interested in having such hair ornaments?" seeing his wife unblinkingly watching Parvati, Wisanggeni asked his wife.
"No kakang.it is no longer the time if Nimas will wear the trinkets. The decoration is only appropriate for girls of our daughter Parvati's age, not for old women like me.." Rengganis refused a subtle offer from her husband.
Wisanggeni smiled and looked at his wife from toe to toe. Then the man's eyes moved to look at a girl who was also in the inn. Seeing the attitude her husband showed, Rengganis became curious. The woman patted Wisanggeni's arm, and the man turned to his wife.
"The back saw what.., or saw and was more interested in the still-fresh.." Rengganis asked Wisanggeni.
"Nimas.my wife is still much prettier, still much fresher than the girls in this inn, except Nimas Parvati. Whatever Nimas wears, will beautify and beautify yourself Nimas.don't be too discouraging age." with a smile, Wisanggeni takes Rengganis' heart.
"Aaaaaw.." Suddenly Wisanggeni screamed, and some people looked towards the couple. Even Parvati who was in front of the inn, ran inside when she heard the sound of the screams,
"Yahnda. Is your father hurt?" worriedly, Parvati asked Wisanggeni, when the little girl had already arrived in front of them. But the young girl was astonished, because her mother Rengganis did not feel worried at all, and even seemed to not care about the circumstances experienced by her husband.
"You heard Nimas.. There are two fingers from one palm making a very painful pinch on your waist. The one who did that, had not the least bit of compassion. I'm so tormented and suffering Nimas, you have to make a defense for your father." Wisanggeni answered Parvati's question while glancing towards his wife Rengganis. However, Rengganis did not see and ignored her husband's views.
Moments later, Parvati realizes what is going on. The young girl laughed out loud at the way her parents interacted,
"Mother. accompany and help Parvati only yes. There were several options for hair ornaments, and Parvati was confused to choose one. With the help of mother.. Parvati is sure to get a good selection of decorations." Parvati invites Rengganis to help her choose the items she will buy.
Without a second thought, the woman then embraced her daughter, both of whom immediately walked towards the front of the inn. The ornate trinkets salesman smiled at the girl who had picked the item and ran away, returning to the place.
"Monggo.., monggo. selected Ki Sanak. Not only for young people, we also have a collection of decorations and bross for use by adult women." without being asked, the seller took one place from the wood from the bottom of the storage area. In front of Rengganis, there are various collections of decorations made of rocks that are strung very beautifully. The woman's eyes immediately blinked at the jewelry collection, and without forgetting the choice for her daughter Parvati. Even the woman also chose some to give to Sekar Ratih and Ayodya Putri as a form of souvenirs from her eyes.
*******
"Nimas Rengganis. There was not the slightest change from the look of Nimas." the man smiled and reached out to invite the woman to shake hands. From inside the inn, Wisanggeni walked out to them.
"It is not good to tease the woman in front of her husband uncle Sudiro.." suddenly unexpectedly, Wisanggeni mentioned the name of the man. Rengganis was surprised, and sharpened his gaze on the man. The face of a man covered by a bewok that filled his face.
"My brother Wisang .." Sudiro and Wisanggeni hugged in front of the smiling Rengganis looking at the two friends who had long been separated, they finally met again. Parvati looked at them in turn, but the young girl could not recognize her father's best friend and mother.
"This is your daughter, not very pretty. But as there is a resemblance to Nimas Maharani, do I hurt your heart Nimas Rengganis.." Sudiro correctly guessed who Parvati was.
"There is nothing to keep secret among Diro's fellow kang brothers.. This is my daughter, her name is Parvati, her sister Chakra Ashanka. She is the daughter of Nimas Maharani and brother of Wisanggeni.." without any hint of objection, Rengganis explained to Sudiro. Wisanggeni asserted the explanation of Rengganis.
"I'm saddened by the news that I received Wisang.. May the Maharani remain in his nature with peace." said Sudiro while glancing at Parvati who looks strong to hear the words about his mother.
"Thank you, my brother.. We just go inside, it is not good to talk while standing in the middle of the road like this. Inside the inn I saw a roomy place for us to talk to each other.." seeing their position in front of the inn door, Wisanggeni invited Sudiro into it.
"Is this your son Sudiro. Falling asleep on your shoulder.." Rengganis rubbed the cheeks of the child's puffer who was asleep on Sudiro's shoulder.
Sudiro smiled, then with a concerned look at the sleeping boy. Without answering, the man walked into the inn following Wisanggeni. Rengganis is silent, there may be a reason why Sudiro kept it a secret about the identity of the child. Parvati took her mother's hand, both of them walking after the two men entered the inn.
"Sit here Sudiro, put the boy on your shoulder on this long chair. So that he could save his legs, and not fold. Not good for blood circulation.." Wisanggeni deliberately chose a place located in the corner. A full set of chairs with long chairs is available at the place.
Sudiro obeyed the will of his best friend, the man carefully lowered the boy from his shoulders, then put him to sleep on the long chair. After making sure the boy was safe in the long chair, Sudiro slowly sat down beside the boy.
