The Fire Dragon Sword

The Fire Dragon Sword
Heir to the Throne of Malwageni

"Teacher, the head of the Rajawali Emas sect has arrived in Padepokan,“ Satria said slowly.

“Well I'll see him soon," replied ki Ageng briefly. After changing into clothes, Ki Ageng walked towards the main hall of the Fire Dragon Sword Sect. It was seen that the Golden Eagles had been waiting for him.

“My brother has there been any news?” tanya Sudarta was worried. He brought some expert warriors with him. Tungga dewi and Lasmini appeared in the group.

Ki Ageng shook his head slowly, his pale and much thinner face signifying extreme fatigue.

“All the corners of the forest we have come to, but there is no sign yet of its existence," replied Ki Ageng looking desperate.

“I have neglected to look after the Prince," he said softly.

"Prince? don't don't?" Sudarta looked surprised. In an instant the atmosphere of the meeting hall arrived into silence. Everyone was shocked to hear the words of Ki Ageng.

The wind news that they had heard about the existence of the crown prince Nalwageni turned out to be true.

But to make them all more surprised, the heir to the throne Malwageni is Sabrang. A young man who had saved the Tungga Goddess during the attack of the Southern Poison Sect.

Ki Ageng seemed to realize his mistake, he unconsciously opened Sabrang's identity amid his despair.

“So is it true that the wind I heard if, your majesty brought the Prince to the Fire Dragon Sword Sect?" balas Sudarta's.

Ki ageng nodded slowly, he felt that Sabrang's identity was not important anymore now, which was his priority at the moment was to find Sabrang.

“Only one place we haven't been to, Death forest.” Ki Ageng spoke slowly.

All gasped in shock at hearing Ki Ageng call the forest of death. If Ki Ageng's conjecture is true Sabrang entered the forest of death then the chances of survival are very small. Everyone knows the danger that awaits in the forest.

Sudarta was silent for a moment, she was unable to say anything to Ki Ageng. He heard back a few days ago that Sabrang had disappeared into the woods.

Sudarta immediately decided to come to the Fire Dragon Sword Sect that day as well. Either way, Sabrang had saved his grandson's life and he felt he had to help with the hardships the Fire Dragon Sword Sect faced, but to enter the Forest of death did not cross the slightest thought in his mind.

***

It had been three months since Sabrang practiced the Eternal Book of Fire under the guidance of Suliva. His swordsmanship had advanced by leaps and bounds, the moment Sabrang had arrived at the third level.

Sabrang looks to be training against Suliwa. The heat enveloped both of their bodies. They looked agile to attack each other.

Although Sabrang's movement is getting faster, Suliwa is able to balance every movement of his opponent. He kept trying to suppress and occasionally gave directions.

As Suliwa was about to defeat Sabrang, he stopped his attack.

“We have guests, Nak.” Suliwa threw away the tree branch and looked back. Before long appeared a white haired woman smiling gently.

“Is that the legendary Timeless Flame style? it is very lucky that I was able to witness your fight live,” the woman lowered her head in salute.

“You're too complimentary Miss, we're just practicing together. Introduce this my disciple Sabrang,” Suliwa pointed and asked him to pay his respects.

“You raised a disciple?” the woman scrunched her forehead. He watched Sabrang from top to bottom which made Sabrang slightly misbehaved.

“The story is long, then what wind brings the Red Lotus Chair to visit me?”

Sabrang then went back to meditating to increase his internal energy. In order to arrive at the fourth level of the Eternal Flame Force, he would have to continue to increase his profound strength.

“That's how the elders, the martial world is currently in chaos. The white stream continued to be cornered by the horde of Black Devils. Ever since the news that the Black Devils managed to master the ancient science of the Celestial Sword they had become very aggressive," Wulan said.

Suliwa seemed to think while closing her eyes. He had heard of the prowess of the Sky Sword Science which was quite legendary. However, the science was considered to be just a mere story because, no one had ever really been able to master it.

“How can they find the celestial swordsmanship,” murmured Suliwa.

“Nona, I doubt I can't help the martial world much at this time. After the events of fifteen years ago I destroyed almost all of my inner strength. Even to be able to keep up with that child I had to take pains.”

Suliwa recalled the events of fifteen years ago when he became the strongest swordsman. “The Fire Dragon Sword is not an heirloom that can be controlled easily, it will eat your soul slowly until its user becomes a demon. From then on I decided to annihilate almost all of my inner energy.”

Wulan sari nodded slowly, looking a little disappointed in her face. He was certain that sooner or later the Red Lotus would become the next target of the Black Devil due to the existence of the Book of the medicinal goddess.

“Can I ask a little elder?” Wulan stared at the wooden box not far from where she was sitting, as if she knew what was inside the box.

“Did you properly raise that child as your disciple? Didn't the elder just say that, the Fire Dragon sword is not an ordinary heirloom?”

Suliwa smiled as she looked at the sky of the cave, she understood the direction of Wulan sari's question.

“My selfishness made him my student. I still hope that there will be a warrior like in the legend that will unite the martial world, this time I will bet on him, hopefully he is not as stupid as I used to be," replied Suliwa.

“Does that mean you will bequeath that Fire Dragon Sword?”

Wulan Sari was very interested in what decision Suliwa would take on the child.

Suliwa nodded slowly and replied, “I have sealed half the power of the Fire Dragon, using the eternal Darkness Seal. For a while, the Fire Dragon would not be able to eat the child's soul. I hope he becomes stronger and can control the Fire Dragon Sword one day when the seal of Eternal Darkness disappears.

"Syrna? isn't the seal of eternal Darkness absolute? I've never heard of anyone being able to escape that seal.”

Suliwa looked at Wulan for a moment before turning her attention to the wooden box beside her.

“I thought so too, but the Power of the Fire Dragon is so great. The seal of eternal darkness can only last about two years before it is wiped out by its power,” Suliwa replied.

Wulan Sari's face changed instantly, she was the one who understood the power of the seal the most. No one has ever been able to break away from the seal.

“And you gave the Fire Dragon sword to the boy?” Wulan sari shook her head, she did not understand Suliwa's thought path. When Suliwa became even the strongest warrior, he was unable to withstand the power of the Fire Dragon.

“What makes you so sure the boy can overcome the Fire Dragon Sword? isn't that the same as you sacrificing that kid?”

Suliwa smiled softly at Wulan Sari's words.

"I just follow my heart and I'm sure the Fire Dragon doesn't reject my decision, Suliwa replied briefly.

Wulan Sari scrunched her forehead in confusion after hearing Suliva's remark.

"I want to ask you something Miss, will you come bet with me," Suliwa asked with a meaningful smile.

"bet?" Wulan is further confused by Suliwa.
