The Fire Dragon Sword

The Fire Dragon Sword
The Long Night

Sabrang came out from the bottom of the river with a slightly pale face, his breathing was cut off while staring at the white Fox sitting on the river bank.

"It's not enough, the dark side of the universe is much more pressure than the river water," said the white fox, shaking her head slowly.

"Can I rest for a while? I don't know why the river water was much colder than usual night" Sabrang replied softly.

The white fox nodded slowly, he then looked at the moon with a slightly worried face.

"You feel it too? tonight seems more frightening than usual, like something big is about to happen" the white fox said.

Sabrang then went up and changed his clothes, before sitting near the white Fox.

"Tell me how the dark side of the universe is" Sabrang said.

The white fox did not answer Sabrang's question, he continued to stare at the shining moon in the sky.

"Grandfather?" Sabrang patted the shoulders of the white Fox.

"Ah, yes," the white fox replied in surprise.

"Did something happen?" Sabrang scrunched his forehead.

"No, I'm just a little worried about the atmosphere tonight. No ordinary animal sounds could be heard, as if they were afraid of something. The last time I felt the atmosphere of a night like this was when five unknown people appeared and slaughtered thousands of people in one night" the white Fox replied.

"Five people?" ask Sabrang.

"At that time I was only a dozen years old, they slaughtered everyone who did not follow their orders no matter the children and girls. The strength of those five people was extremely high, it could even be said that it was not a human power.

No swordsman could match them, not even the strongest swordsman back then. The five of them were then known as the world leaders of Masalembo," said the white fox.

"So yeah, is it possible that something will happen again tonight?" reply Sabrang who was staring at the moon.

"May not" the white fox turned to Sabrang.

"Is Wulan really in your kingdom?"

Sabrang scrunched his forehead, he looked puzzled by the question of the white Fox.

"He said so when parting ways with me in jiwo lali forest, do I have to make sure?" ask Sabrang.

"No need, our task is still a lot until the next two full moons. Your body has to be really strong before we get into the dark side of the universe. Tonight we stop your training first, rest, tomorrow before sunrise you should have returned to practice" said the white fox, rising from his seat.

"Will grandfather go?"

The white fox shook his head slowly, "The air tonight is so cold, I will sleep in the cave," The white fox stepped inside the cave waving his hand.

"Sleeping in the cave? you're not good at hiding your worries cake" Sabrang murmured before darting out the rainbow valley waterfall.

"Hopefully I'm wrong" the white fox seemed to walk towards Wulan's private practice room.

The white fox's face changed instantly upon seeing Wulan's storage rack.

"The scroll Naraya gave him is gone? you foolish woman, I told you not to approach Damalung Mountain," said the white fox as he hurried away.

***

"Damalung Mountain?" Adyatama scrunched his forehead.

"Right sir, I saw for myself the Goddess of death go with some people towards that mountain," replied a young swordsman.

"What are they looking for on that mountain?"

"I don't know, sir" replied the swordsman quickly.

Adyatama was seen thinking for a moment before speaking again.

"Take some of your men to observe their movements" said Adyatama

"Sorry sir, I can't do it" said the swordsman slowly.

"You defied my orders? have you forgotten me while taking over the leadership of Masalembo?" adyatama.

"I really can't master, Damalung mountain is a forbidden area for Masalembo warriors."

"Prohibited area? I saved you twice, Damar, if my brother didn't pull you in time and space, you'd be dead in the hands of that dwipa descendant,"

Damar fell silent, he recalled for a moment before his body was struck by Sabrang's fire Dragon sword, there was a strange aura that moved his body in the last second.

"Sorry sir, but I really can't, the mountain is strictly forbidden to go" Damar replied slowly.

"Let me go, brother," a warrior appeared to arrive.

"Pradana? our body has not completely recovered, it would be very dangerous to meet him, wait a few more full moon" Adyatama seemed a little objection.

"Don't worry too much kakang, I'll just observe from afar" Pradana replied convincingly.

Adyatama was silent for a moment, he looked at his junior brother with a worried face.

"Good, but remember you're just observing from afar. The god of kumari found only three people left, and I don't want to lose another one" Adyatama replied.

"Okay kakang" Pradana replied as she lowered her head before stepping away.

***

"Master, all the leaves are full," cried Ciha as she examined the leaves that had not been placed under the stone.

Wardhana immediately got up from his seat, and ran towards the four songo temples in the middle.

"Ciha, bring them all here, be careful not to spill," cried Wardhana.

Candrakurama and Wulan help without being ordered, they slowly fill the full hole in the songo temple to the brim.

But their excited faces turned wry again as the cloud covered the sky on Damalung mountain.

"It looks like the rain is coming back down" said Wardhana slowly.

"Find something to cover the songo temple stone, do not let the water inside again mixed with rain water.

Candrakurama darted towards the trees and took some leaves wide enough to cover the songo temple.

"Just waiting, that's what we can do at the moment" Wardhana said with a wry smile as Wulan looked at her.

"What if the sky stays cloudy until morning?"

"There's nothing we can do except wait for the next night and hope it doesn't rain again. Almost all the puzzles I've solved but that's not enough, we need the blessing of nature to know what's stored here" Wardhana said.

"So, if tonight's moonlight is unable to penetrate the black clouds, it means that nature does not bless us?"

"Would you rest for a while, elder, I'll wake you up if the clouds start to disappear" Wardhana said.

Wardhana seemed to smile kindly while looking at the beautiful woman in front of him.

"Sorry elder, there's something I want to ask you. You don't know His Majesty at all, what made you raise His Majesty as a disciple? is it just because our enemies are the same?"

"You've asked too many questions like the master white fox, probably almost as much as you did. The fire of resistance within me had dimmed when I heard the white Fox had defeated them and was locked up in the dimension of space and time. If a warrior as strong as him has lost what about me?

But the fire of spirit seemed to re-ignite when your king appeared before me, he seemed to have something in his body that was able to get me excited again. I just want to be useful for others, maybe almost the same as Arya dwipa's advice to you, Urip kudu urup," replied Wulan.

"It seems like the purpose we all gather here is almost the same," Wardhana looked at Candrakurama sitting in front of him.

"At least that's what His Majesty taught me" Candrakurama replied.

Wardhana scrunched her forehead, she stared at the moonlight that was on the leaves used to cover the songo temple.

Wardhana then turned her head up and saw the sky start to clear again.

"It looks like nature gives her blessing," Wardhana pulled out all the leaves covering the songo temple.

Wulan and Candrakurama stared at each other, their bodies trembling slightly and heartbeats racing fast. They all seemed to hold their breath, before long perhaps the biggest secret or anything hidden in the Damalung mountain would be revealed.

Moonlight that bounces off the reflecting stone appears to shine on the songo temple, kenteng, the beam then bounces between the four pieces before bouncing back to one of the large rocks on the left side of the abyss that was used to hold the dew.

For a long time they watched the stone while holding their breath, but nothing happened at all after such a long time.

"Is something wrong?" ask Wulan slowly.

"It shouldn't be" Wardhana's eyes follow the moonlight that bounces from the beginning of the reflecting stone to the end of one of the dew-bearing stones.

"Is there anything less?" he murmured in the heart. Wardhana then tried to close the path of reflection towards the last stone with his hand, visible moonlight shining on his palm.

"The light is too dim!" said Wardhana while staring at the reflecting stone.

"His reflection stone was too dry to make the moonlight spread out in all directions, the reflected light was too dim. Ciha, bring the remaining dewwater and pour it into the reflecting rock exactly where the moonlight fell" Wardhana ordered.

"Okay, sir," Ciha rushed towards the reflecting matu and splashed out according to Wardhana's orders.

Before long, the moonlight began to focus at one point and deliver to the songo stone before it bounced back.

A piece of writing seemed to be drawn from the reflection of that light.

"It turns out that the moonlight is only as an introduction to bring up the writing engraved on four songo temple stones" said Wardhana slan.

"Turning in the direction of the sun, the stone of life will lead into the light of life" Wulan read again. Along with the completion of Wulan reading the writing, the sky again clouded and rain began to fall.

"Thank God we're not late, or we have to repeat tomorrow" Wardhana said.

Wardhana then examined the side of the stone and found some sort of stone indentation near the ground.

"Turn in the direction of the sun? Candrakurama, help me turn this stone to the right, there is a small indentation that can be used as a handle," said Wardhana slowly.

Wardhana and Candrakurama began to rotate the stone slowly, it was a little difficult to turn the stone considering the surrounding soil began to solidify.

"Damn, this stone is very heavy," said Candrakurama when they were only able to shift a little of the stone even though it had pushed with all their might.

"It's natural that if it's hard, it looks like this stone has been unshifted for a very long time. The surrounding land continues to solidify and maybe the stone holder inside is mossy or eaten by the ground," answered Wardhana slowly.

"May I try it?" Wulan offered help.

"Neither elders, this stone looks a little fragile, we cannot force it with all our might or the stone stand will be destroyed and this stone can no longer function," Wardhana replied politely.

Wardhana seemed to think for a moment, several times he was seen again trying to turn the stone but did not succeed.

"This stone is old and likely has been out of use for a very long time, help me dig the soil on the side of the stone to reduce the pressure, do it slowly and do not get too deep, I don't want any of the spinning systems broken" Wardhana told Candrakurama.

They began to dig the side of the rock slowly under the rain which was getting thicker and the sound of lightning that seemed to want to hit them.

"Make a waterway into the quarry, the water will make the soil loose again" Wardhana ordered.

Once enough was felt and rainwater began to fill the excavations they made, Wardhana gave a sign to try to turn back.

"Let's try again" Wardhana and Candrakurama turned the stone around again slowly.

Wardhana's plan this time was successful, the dewstone slowly began to move, after almost half a round, there was a sound of "Krak", the stone seemed to touch something.

Wardhana and Candrakurama looked at each other for a moment before the sound of shifting stones rang out from the other stones not far from them.

All simultaneously turned to the direction of the origin of the sound, looks like a dew holding stone near the reflecting stone turning down. The side of the rock that had been buried in the ground moved up to replace the upper side that is now buried in the ground.

They walked closer to the stone with tense faces, a hollow in the stone was rectangular.

"Does the basin have to be filled with water again?" Wulan looked puzzled, thinking after the first stone was turned there would be a door that opened.

Wardhana touched the stone basin as her mouth continued muttering.

"Turning in the direction of the sun, the stone of life will lead into the light of life."

"The rock of life! this basin is likely the place to lay the stone of life, (the stone of life will lead into the light of life), in other words the reflection of the moonlight is just to show where we should put the stone of life. So the main key to unlocking the veil of secrets that have been hidden is the stone of life" said Wardhana slowly.

"Then where do we get the stone?" ask Ciha confused.

"I don't know yet" answered Wardhana quickly as she turned to Wulan.

"Did Naraya just give you the scroll?"

Wulan nodded softly, "Only the scroll," Wulan replied.

"Where do we get that life stone?" ciha's face was back in sluggishness.

"Don't show such a face first Siha," Wardhana replied softly.

"You mean? if the stone of life is currently in the hands of world leaders, it will not be in vain for our journey to the top of this mountain," replied Ciha.

"I'm sure it's around here" replied Wardhana.

"How can you be so sure, sir?" ask Wulan.

"I don't know who made this mystery system but there must have been a very high level of scientific intervention when making all this.

It is not easy to make a system of stands for the rotating stone, and the most amazing thing is their calculation of the reflecting stone, counting the sides of the cliff and the direction of the reflection of the moon is the most complicated thing, not to mention the calculation of the location of other stones used as reflectors next, just a little wrong then the path of reflection will be chaotic and the text message will not be delivered.

You think they won't set up a spare "Key" if the life stone is gone? I'm sure with a system as good as this, they have prepared all possibilities including a spare key in case a life stone is lost. We just need to look for clues that the makers of this system might have prepared to find other life stones" Wardhana replied softly.

"You can always surprise me," Wulan replied as she lowered her head.
