The Fire Dragon Sword

The Fire Dragon Sword
Darin's Decree

Emmy woke up from her sleep when she heard someone was practicing, she tried to sharpen her eyes because it was still very dark.

"Your highness?" he said slowly, the cold air that night made Emmy's body lazy to move.

They did sleep under a tree after Darin did not allow entry into his hut. This was what provoked Emmy's emotions and almost destroyed the hut if Sabrang did not hold it back.

"The old man is really cruel, watch out later, I'll teach you a lesson" said Emmy upset.

Emmy then sat under a tree watching Sabrang train, feeling sorry to see a king receiving this treatment from Darin.

Sabrang finished his training when he realized Emmy was awake, he adjusted his breathing for a moment before stepping closer to the woman.

"You awake? I'm sorry if I disturb your sleep" Sabrang said softly.

Emmy just nodded small, she still did not think out with Sabrang's attitude as if not trying to convince Darin to teach him after a long journey they took.

"Are you really going?" ask Emmy slowly.

"Everyone has his own reasons including elder Darin and we cannot impose a will. We should go back to Malwageni first and discuss the matter with Wardhana's uncle" Sabrang replied.

"But he's really outrageous, Your Majesty, he won't even let us in" Emmy replied resentfully.

"There are things that we cannot force, such as the Malwageni palace that cannot be entered by everyone. Elder Darin must have had a reason why it was forbidden for us to enter. Stop all your complaints, aren't we used to sleeping out in the open?"

"Both His Majesty the king of Malwageni," ridiculed Emmy as he turned his face away.

"You're this..." Sabrang shook his head slowly.

"The elder is actually a good person, but for some things he is very stiff, please do not take offense" Arsenio said while saluting.

"Good guy? it was thanks to her kindness that we slept in the open" replied Emmy cynically.

"Emmy.." Sabrang's voice sounded slightly elevated which made Emmy speechless.

"Pardon my wife's presumptuous attitude sir" Sabrang replied softly.

"Don't be too pompous sir, I can't understand the attitude of elder Darin this time either. You are the first to be allowed to climb to the top of the mountain but somehow he just drove you back" replied Arsenio.

"First man?" sabrang asked in surprise.

"Right, at least after we decided to stay on this mountain to guard it" Arsenio replied.

"You've known him for a long time?" ask Sabrang back.

"Twenty-five years ago, we were a bunch of bad boys who were always stealing to survive, until one day the soldiers of the kingdom of Arkantara chased us all the way to the foot of Mount Sinabung.

It was there that my nine friends and I met the elder Darin. He saved us from the pursuit of the soldiers and educated us into formidable warriors, from then on we decided to stay on this mountain to guard it."

"As expected, he is indeed a good person," Sabrang replied softly.

"I don't know if this is just a coincidence but it seems like you are the one who has been waiting for him for a long time" Arsenio replied.

"The one who's waiting?"

"The elder seemed to have the ability to foretell and he once told me that one day a young swordsman would come who would be a light to the martial world" Arsenio replied.

"Light? the old man just tricked you, "said Emmy.

"Emmy..." Sabrang shook his head.

Sabrang actually still want to ask more but the sound of the forest chickens that began to sail each other signifies the morning began to come and he must immediately go down the mountain to return to Malwageni.

"Master, it seems like morning has arrived, I must leave immediately to return to Jawata. Nice to meet you," Sabrang got up from his seat and invited Emmy to pack.

"I will take you to the foot of the mountain" replied Arsenio.

Sabrang stared at the small hut for a moment, he lowered his head to salute before stepping away.

Without Sabrang noticing, Darin continued to stare at his departure from afar, his face looking doubtful as he was about to call the young man.

"One day, maybe I'll teach you, son, but I want to see which path you choose. You're a good young man but that body might change your nature slowly. If you can show me that you're different, I'll make you an unrivaled swordsman" Darin said.

"Sending an emissary to Malwageni?" Saragi looked surprised upon hearing Agam's plan.

"Right, it's time for Arkantara to begin conquering the land of Jawata but our enemies this time are different because they have the best tactician. We can attack directly but I am sure the loss is not small and the war will last very long.

The servant wanted to send an envoy to offer cooperation and quietly measure their strength before attacking. The last news I heard, their king has long disappeared and it can be used to find their weaknesses" replied Agam slowly.

"Are you sure this plan will work?"

Agam nodded softly, "At this time Saung Galah has fallen over to them but I am sure there are still many soldiers of Saung Galah who are loyal to the old king. We can use them to help us conquer the glorious Malwageni."

"Give me time to think uncle because attacking Jawata obviously requires a lot of money to deploy troops" Saragi said a little hesitant. The location of Jawata that is far enough will obviously drain the power of his soldiers, not to mention the costs that must be incurred and also fighting on the battlefield that has not been recognized has a risk of failure is quite large.

"Hamba understands your concerns, Your Majesty, but we do not have to fight in the near future, the envoys who will be sent have the task of watching the movement of the Malwageni, and when they began to let our guard down just attacked," Agam continued to convince Saragi.

"That's it..." Saragi seemed to think for a moment before nodding slowly.

"It is time for Arkantara to take control of Nuswantoro and with the abilities you have I believe you are the right king to make it happen" Agam replied.

Receiving praise from Agam, Saragi smiled proudly.

"Well, I will agree to the plan that uncle said but I want the assault done if everything is really mature" Saragi replied.

"Everything is getting closer, you will all pay for what you did to me" Agam said in his heart.

"Chairman?" a warrior greeted Agam at the gate of the palace.

"It's time to move, send three holy temple warriors to visit Malwageni and say Arkantara wants to establish a cooperative relationship with them.

While there, go silently to the Light of Heaven to retrieve the last pomegranate-red mustika stored in that place. It is time for Mr. Mandala to rise," said Agam with a cold smile.

"Okay, chief" replied the swordsman quickly.

"Sorry sir, I can only drive you here. Once again apologize for your inconvenience while on Mount Sinabung," said Arsenio politely.

Sabrang smiled slightly as he nodded slowly, "Thank you for driving me and please convey our apologies to elder Darin."

Arsenio took two knives from her waist and handed them to Sabrang.

"It was a Pepper Knife, although not as powerful as the Fire Dragon sword I am sure one day will be useful" said Arsenio softly.

"Sir, can't I accept this?"

"Just take our apologies so please accept them" replied Arsenio.

Sabrang looked doubtful but after Arsenio forced, he finally relented.

"One more time thank you, we beg yourself," Sabrang said before stepping away.

Arsenio stared at the departure of Sabrang and Emmy while taking a breath, for some reason she was so interested in Sabrang.

"Giving heirloom to a new known person, I really don't understand your way of thinking," Darin emerged from behind a tree.

"The reason may be the same when you allow him to climb to the top of the elder mountain" Arsenio replied slowly.

"He is no ordinary swordsman, one day his hand will be covered in blood" Darin replied.

"Then why didn't you kill him? you taught me that if man has the full right to choose his own way of life, does that not apply to the young warrior?" ask Arsenio cynically.

"I understand how you feel but you won't understand how dangerous he is, if I may choose, I'd rather face the Mandala than the boy."

"You haven't answered my question elder, if you believe that the warrior will destroy the martial world, why did you let him live?"

Darin fell silent after hearing Arsenio's question.

"If a thief like me is still given a second chance, why can't you trust him? During the fight that night, we could all be killed if he wanted to but he didn't. Now that the warrior of the sacred temple is getting stronger, I don't know until when I can guard this sacred mountain, I hope you change your mind" Arsenio stepped away from Darin.

"You will not meng..." Darin did not continue his words as he sensed a huge energy approaching, he stared at his surroundings warily.

"Elder?" Arsenio who also sensed the aura ran over to Darin.

"Dodge!" darin shouted as dozens of sword energies shot rapidly towards them.

"Damn it, who would dare to attack this mountain?" Arsenio jumped away.

Explosions after explosions continued to occur as the sword energy was as if chasing Darin and Arsenio.

They moved agilely among the trees while continuing to search for who the person who attacked was.

"Teacher behind you," cried Arsenio as a sword energy shot towards Darin.

"Inner power shield," Darin formed a wall of inner power to fend off the attack but other energies came from different directions.

"Bring your friend up to the top of the mountain, I will try to find where the coward is hiding," Darin pulled out his sword and began to fend off any sword energy that led to him.

"You want to attack me with a weak stance like this?" a huge aura suddenly overflowed from Darin's body, he began to channel his profound energy into his heirloom sword.

"Protective sword moves," Darin turned his sword, a huge explosion again occurred due to the clash of sword energies.

The huge explosion sent dust flying, making it easier for Darin to hide and find where his enemy was.

A shadowy figure was finally seen by Darin, he smiled slightly before letting go of his nurse.

"Damn," a swordsman forced out of hiding, he jumped dodging the quick attack that led to him.

But when he tried to dodge, Darin suddenly appeared near him.

"You think you can hide from me" Darin hit the swordsman with all his might.

The swordsman's body was thrown a few steps, but just as Darin was about to strike back another four warriors appeared and directly attacked him.

"The "shield of deep power," a clash of deep power again occurred that made them all pushed back including Darin.

"Your strength is terrible for an old hermit who never went down the mountain" said one of the mysterious warriors.

"I'm not accepting guests, you better leave before I change my mind" Darin replied upsetly.

"Please be patient sir, I have come to offer cooperation" the swordsman replied.

"Cooperation said you? after you tried to kill me?" darin Eject.
