Chapter CXXI - Xuan Chen's Decision

There was no reason to refuse, even if they were obviously unwilling. Yi Changyin had already announced their reasoning along with the evidence that Shen Lan had recorded in pearls. Everybody knows it.

Emperor Xuan Zhen happily allowed Yi Changyin and Xuan Chen to take the suspects away. But they still rebelled. Making Feng'er and Heilong who were carrying them all slightly overwhelmed.

Maybe for Heilong a little bit no problem. The dragon flew with wings that were as if they were attached. The horns are huge, hovering above the clouds.

But Feng'er also carried Yi Changyin and Xuan Chen on his back. He had to endure the aching and let the two people make out on his back.

Xuan Chen was even more anxious. "Let me replace you."

"No!" Yi Changyin fast.

"But.."

"It's my fault anyway." Yi Changyin bowed. Yet a moment later he gasped when Xuan Chen suddenly hugged him tightly.

Success made the group behind him suddenly stop. Especially Qiao Jirong who was clenching his hands was annoyed.

"I don't want to see you like yesterday anymore. It hurt my heart so much." Xuan Chen's whisper sounded silly yet solemn.

Yi Changyin smiled and let go immediately. "Shameful." He muttered as he walked away. His smile was still there, not fading.

Xuan Chen was stunned. Shortly afterwards he immediately ran after Yi Changyin and carried her suddenly. The girl screamed small in surprise.

Gaoqing Dijun's entourage was just speechless looking at them from behind. What a matching and well-matched couple. Gaoqing Dijun could not be sure of winning the gamble with Yi Changyin.

Qiao Jirong fell silent, but his emotions were stark. His breath was wheezing and his hands clenched to the point of revealing the green veins behind his white skin.

"You said they wouldn't get along!" Furious Qiao Jirong, still staring intently at the two of them up there.

"How dare you be disrespectful to Dijun!" Qi Xiangma pointed at Qiao Jirong with his sword, Gaoqing Dijun only fell silent.

"Who do you think you are?! Just the daughter of a mortal nature official?! Well Dijun has saved you from the cruelty of the Diaoshi forest and given you a pretty face!"

Qiao Jirong simply fell silent, harboring his anger. What Qi Xiangma said was completely true. He was poor Wei Qiao who was thrown viciously into the Diaoshi forest by Yi Changyin.

His face was broken without a trace. Her beauty is gone forever. His strength was wiped out, his mentality was depressed. If not for Gaoqing Dijun who was lacking personnel in his plans of destroying Yi Changyin, he would not have taken part in the sky realm.

After returning home from the sky court, Yi Changyin returned to the fairy realm. While Xuan Chen went to the Dongfang mainland because the father told him there was something urgent that the family should talk about.

"Dad already dragged the Jiang family and Han punished. With evidence they've embezzled funds and corrupted." Said Emperor Xuan Zhen who was sitting in the main seat of his study.

They've all gathered. There was Xuan Rong and Xuan Yao sitting on equal footing with him. Across, were concubine Yang, concubine De and concubine Xian who were sitting parallel.

"Therefore, the father raised the ranks of the Yang family, Jing (the De concubine's family) and Qing (the Xian concubine's family). Jiang Jinwei, Han Qiangshu, Xuan Ye and Xuan Hua as important members of the royal family had been pushed aside directly by the side of the celestial realm because of what he had done. Therefore, father decided to find a replacement for them."

"Xuan Chen's.." Emperor Xuan Zhen summoned his seventh son.

Xuan Chen volunteered himself, he bent his knees before the emperor's throne. "Dad?" Just then Yang Qiujiu's heart was pumping fiercely.

"I'm a little surprised to see the change in you. Be it from the physical, the soul and the knowledge. I'm proud of you." The almost old man smiled proudly.

"Thank you, dad."

"I think you're my son who's more deserving of my throne in the future."

Xuan Chen gasped at hearing that. Other than Yang Qiujiu, all of them gave smiles of approval marks.

"Then from that, I appoint you as."

"Wait, dad!" Xuan Chen suddenly cut off his father's conversation. "I'm sorry for being disrespectful. But I strongly object to taking that order."

Emperor Xuan Zhen frowned, slightly disappointed. "What do you mean?"

"Maybe the eighth sister is more suited to be the crown prince..." He said as he glanced towards Xuan Yao at a glance.

Everyone stared at each other in disbelief. Especially Xuan Yao, "brother?"

"Chen'er, I know my two sons and one daughter are my pride at all times. But you're the oldest of your two sisters. According to the rules, you're the one who's entitled."

"Father's right, brother." Xuan Yao chimed in. "After becoming emperor, you can give a much better life to brother-in-law, because he has a higher rank many times that of us. Even you can't take the concubine." The man persuaded and used every possible means to Xuan Chen's desire.

"But my wife was even willing to give up her own throne to live with me without power. That's why, I dare to reject father's decision." Tukas Xuan Chen remained steadfast with what he wanted.

Meanwhile everyone's forehead shriveled. Yi Changyin has power? Wasn't she the youngest daughter of the Nine-tailed fox clan head?

Back then, the emperor Xuan Zhen who represented everyone to ask, "power you mean? Is he also a leader?"

Xuan Chen lowered his head for a moment. "Maybe it's time for me to be honest. Yi Changyin is the reincarnation of the Fairy God Realm Queen, she just regained her past soul, her memory along with her power."

Everyone was shocked, widening his eyes. The fairy realm, was the strongest world in mythology that was almost unbelievable for thousands of years in the mortal realm. However upon hearing Xuan Chen's words, they gradually came to believe.

Emperor Xuan Zhen was speechless anymore. He wanted to cry blood. It turned out that his seventh son-in-law had the same title as him all along. However, it can be hundreds of times higher.

"Was he... That legendary Bai Suyue?" Xuan Rong guessed even to the point of standing up.

Xuan Chen nodded. "Yes..."

Xuan Rong closed his mouth in disbelief. Limp, his body sat up by itself. "Oh my God, it's only fitting that he could turn into a white eagle." he murmured.

"Xiao Fei. oh xiao Fei... Aunty will never be silent if you haven't finished memorizing this ancient book." Yi Changyin said half irritatedly, his hand pointing at the book that was being turned back and forth Yue Xingfei. "You are this..."

"Promant queen of the fairy realm." sneer Yue Xingfei with an irritating face.

(Note: Xiao Fei was a small call to Yue Xingfei. It means little Fei)

Yi Changyin chuckled softly. His face is very friendly. But soon after his scary look began to appear. He slapped Yue Xingfei in the face with the book he had mentioned earlier.

"Tomorrow must be memorized!" It was her impact that made Yue Xingfei's face even more inching.

"You can go, but don't play!" Added Yi Changyin who was getting a sneer from Yue Xingfei.

The girl snorted then rushed away without saying goodbye. Yi Changyin simply shook his head while sighing in frustration. The successor to the throne this time was too wild to learn.
