Chapter XXXV - Misconceptions End Hunger

Dozens of tongies swept away a sea of dry foliage lying on a concrete floor. Gather in mountains of dried leaves under shady trees. The pile was so numerous that it surrounded the tree with that large trunk.

Yi Changyin wiped the sweat on his forehead. He narrowed his eyes at the sun that was almost inching to the western horizon. Dinner time is still far in reach, while his stomach is struggling to ask for food. Maybe because he's tired. Never mind..

The leaves have stopped falling, but are still scattered in a large open field. Close to the entrance gate. In the middle of it was a strange stone, attracting the girl to take a closer look.

Someone peeked at him from a distance. A pair of eyes moved. First look at Yi Changyin, then at the sharp-tipped fence that bordered the strange stone and had that uneven surface.

"I know!" He said while chewing food. He frowned when he saw Xuan Chen who was just silent. Yi Changyin immediately thrust a plate of vegetables at him.

"You eat too!" His orders in a slightly pushy tone.

"I've eaten."

"Last noon?"

Yi Changyin hit Xuan Chen on the shoulder, the man slightly crowed. "Lunch time is different than now. Your stomach must've been rumbling." He said, patting the man's stomach. Making a sense of shame and awkwardness from being touched jumbled in Xuan Chen's head.

"I only need to eat three times a day. Not like you." Ledek.

"I love to eat!" Yi Changyin nodded in annoyance. But, he returned smiling.
