Chapters 14. The Xiao Family
"That's the Xiao family, they're already dataaaaang!!" Shouted one of the residents in front of the inn.
"Oh.they're back. Lin Tian, how about we take a look." Take Bao Chu after hearing the shout.
"All right, come on." Lin Tian responded to the invitation while getting up from his seat followed by Bao Chu.
People who were in the room also flocked to go out to see him. Lin Tian felt a little astonished, why just because of the arrival of the Xiao family, everyone so looked so interested and enthusiastic?
Then Lin Tian thought about the three women and eight bodyguards he had helped earlier. "Hm.it looks like they've arrived." Inner Lin Tian in heart.
When it came to the outside, it turned out to be true Lin Tian's guess. Seen there is a group of approximately twenty people. In the middle of the group were three beautiful women walking side by side, behind which were also seen three carts all pulled by gallant horses. In one of the carts, sat a man dressed in bodyguard with a state of concern, the man had his body covered in wounds and even his left hand was gone.
There were four bodyguards walking around the three women as well as three people holding the horse's steering rope to guide him. So in total there are eleven people who are currently being escorted by several gatekeepers through the city streets.
"It turns out it's true they are" Inner Lin Tian after arriving outside and looking at them.
"What's going on!??" Suddenly Bao Chu cried out in panic.
"What's uncle?"
"They should have come here with twenty bodyguards, but now there were only eight. There must be something going on." Bao Chu replied as he watched the entourage from where it stood.
Shortly after, the party arrived before Lin Tian. Suddenly, one of the gatekeepers pushed Lin Tian roughly and snapped.
"Surge you boy!! Don't block the way."
Lin Tian just sighed listening. It was indeed because he himself was a personal bodyguard of a nagging and slightly annoying young Miss, thus making him a quite patient person.
Just being pushed away just like mana was able to stir up Lin Tian's anger, this young man had even been colonized by his young Miss in a push that made her fall into a small abyss. The ravine was unfavourable, yet his back was quite aching as well. Worse still, Zhang Qiaofeng, the young lady was just laughing sprawled over the abyss.
He had also once been scolded by Zhang Qiaofeng for accidentally breaking the girl's beloved glass. At that time Zhang Qiaofeng was furious with Lin Tian and punished him for drinking hot tea in the broken glass. Of course Lin Tian was confused, when this young man asked how, his cheek even hit the tiny hand of Zhang Qiaofeng. While punching this girl snapped "Think of it yourself!!"
So, the harsh snaps and pushes from the bodyguards were nothing to Lin Tian.
Hearing the scene, the oldest woman in the group looked up to see what was happening. A second later, this woman was startled and involuntarily her lips formed a thread of sweet smile.
The woman then walked over and exclaimed, "Young master, that's you." The woman who was none other than Xiao Mei said.
"Mother, who is she?" Asked a little girl who had arrived beside Xiao Mei, she was Xiao Niu.
"You forgot about this young master? He was our helper in the forest." Xiao Mei replied displaying a sweet smile while stroking her son's head.
Hearing that, Xiao Niu narrowed his eyes, a second later this child had already run and hugged Lin Tian. "Well.it turns out you were the older brother!! Brother, do you know? when you came and helped us, you looked so cool!!" He exclaimed with vigor while still hugging Lin Tian.
Lin Tian was shocked to die in such a hug, and hearing the 'Sister' coming out of Xiao Niu's mouth, he felt so happy that he unconsciously created a thin smile on his lips.
"Niu'er, what are you doing!!?? Don't be impudent to our young Lord's helper." Xiao Mei said firmly and was about to pull her child. But his steps stopped after hearing a subtle voice that Lin Tian spoke.
"What's wrong, ma'am, I don't matter." He said as he gently stroked Xiao Niu's head which was only the height of his heart.
Hearing herself getting a defense from Lin Tian, this girl then looked at her mother while sticking out her tongue.
"Call me Lin Tian." Cut Lin Tian quickly who felt uncomfortable with the call of the young Master.
Of course, Xiao Mei felt hesitant to call Lin Tian directly by his name. Although the age of this young man was far below him, but he had great respect for Lin Tian as his helper figure, where might he be so disrespectful as to call Lin Tian directly by name.
"Hehe...Big brother Lin Tian, what a good nickname." Chirping Xiao Niu suddenly.
"Niu'er!!"
"Haha..." Finally Lin Tian's laughter broke when he saw the mother and child's quarrel. This young man was not aware that everyone who was there at the moment was just standing quietly admiring Lin Tian's good looks. Even the quarrel of Xiao Mei and her child instantly stopped suddenly when she heard Lin Tian laugh.

"Lin Tian, how come you come with me to the Xiao family? To express my gratitude for your help." Invite Xiao Mei who can already call Lin Tian by name but still by using formal language.
"Sorry Madam, maybe tomorrow I can just visit. Right now I'd better stay at this inn. And please don't be so formal with me, madam."
"Heh...why don't you want to come?? Come on, brother.friend me play..." Whine Xiao Niu while tugging at the young man's hand.
"Alright, but why don't you come with Lin Tian today?" Xiao Mei asked. This woman was presumably still not used to talking to Lin Tian without using any formal language, so the pronunciation of her words was still a little stiff.
"I paid already." Lin Tian's reply was short, clear, dense.
"Oh.b-well, then excuse me. Our Xiao family residence is in the East of the city, please if there is free time stop by. Come on Niu'er." Invite him while pulling Xiao Niu's hand.
"Sister, you promised tomorrow you'd come!! just be careful if tomorrow doesn't come!!" Threatening Xiao Niu while glaring his eyes at Lin Tian, made the girl's face even more cute and adorable.
"Hahah..alright." Lin Tian replied while chuckling.

Then what about Xiao Lian, why didn't she just say a word?
Actually when the party passed in front of the inn where Lin Tian was standing watching, this girl had already realized that there was a young man who was none other than Lin Tian her own helper. Xiao Lian was surprised to see Lin Tian change that was so drastic compared to when in the forest earlier, he also did not understand why he could so thoroughly recognize Lin Tian who had really changed like everyone else.
"So good.....!!!!" His heart with a racing heart. When he looked at the young man's face, he somehow became nervous and embarrassed himself, so Xiao Lian deliberately pretended not to know the existence of the young man and continued walking.
However, he secretly cursed inwardly when one of the gatekeepers snapped at Lin Tian and this made his mother realize the existence of the young man which made his journey come to a halt. He felt an overwhelming nervousness to come over to greet Lin Tian, because this was why Xiao Lian just stood still while turning her face that was already flushed red.
After that, this girl almost fainted when she heard the words of her mother who invited Lin Tian to visit her house. If that were to happen, of course he would not be able to sleep all night. So shocked, the body of this girl even stiffened like a nail hammered on the ground of the highway. This shocked a bodyguard who was sitting sweetly on the cart behind him.
But it was fortunate that Lin Tian did not come to visit today and it managed to make Xiao Lian breathe a sigh of relief.
Then the gatekeeper that snapped at Lin Tian earlier? how's she doing?? Now this his face was already battered after being beaten by Bao Chu who felt unacceptable for his brazen actions to Lin Tian earlier. He felt ashamed of having such a faceless man.
So that after beating up his men, this man told the man to return to the gate and he himself led him to accompany the Xiao family entourage.
"Lin Tian, once again forgive the lack of teachings of my men. Then I'll say good." That was how he said when he took a break to Lin Tian.
