Chapter 9. Become Stronger
After careful thought, Lin Tian finally decided to climb the peak at noon so that the air temperature there was a little warmer. That was what Lin Tian had expected but the reality had disappointed him, the temperature there was absolutely no warmth in the slightest!! There was only cold, cold, and cold!!
It seemed that Lin Tian was currently struggling to climb the highest peak, the path he passed was filled with rocks covered by thick snow, and the road was full of rocks, forcing Lin Tian to continue channeling his profound energy into the soles of his feet in order not to slip. He also channeled his profound energy throughout the body to fight this piercing chill.
Although his body was already enveloped by thick clothes and layers of profound energy, the cold temperature Lin Tian was currently feeling was truly terrifying. Even now he felt that his body was paralyzed and his blood flow had stopped flowing. If not for his determination of wanting to become the protective figure of his young Miss, perhaps now Lin Tian would rather die than have to face all this torment.
Though now Lin Tian had not arrived at the peak but the temperature here was already this terrible let alone the one at the peak. Thinking of this Lin Tian was almost desperate, but he still strengthened his heart and continued to step up.
Several hours passed and finally Lin Tian arrived at the highest peak of this Heaven Wall Mountain Range. When he got there, Lin Tian's face was like not a human face anymore, it was more appropriate to be called a ghost face because his face was already very pale like there was no more blood flow.
"Huh.hah...hah...." Lin Tian muttered incoherently as he continuously exerted his profound strength.
He saw at the peak was extremely vast, perhaps even five times wider than the peak where he had been training all along. There is a lake that is quite large and in the middle there is a small island made of ice, from the edge of the land, there are rows of shiny black stones that form a straight line like a bridge towards the small island.
To the east of the lake, there was a vast expanse of grass and flowers, but all the plants were frozen and covered in snow. To the west of the lake there was a small hill below which there was a cave, this cave was not too big but from where Lin Tian was standing today, he could conclude that this cave was very deep.
Lin Tian did not care about the cave and the sight of the frozen vegetation, he was more interested in the lake that was in front of him, more precisely to the row of stones. Looking from the neat arrangement, the black stones seemed to be deliberately arranged by someone to serve as a bridge to the middle of the island.
With a stiff step as it endured this piercing cold temperature, Lin Tian walked towards the well. After arriving, Lin Tian was surprised to see the scene in front of him, the reason the lake was more or less only as high as an eye foot, if so what was this stone bridge made for?? that was how Lin Tian thought.
Out of curiosity, Lin Tian then tried to dip his hand into the well water, he felt that this well was not as simple as it seemed.
And sure enough, when the tip of his nails touched the water, his head immediately felt dizzy because of the cold of the water. Spontaneous Lin Tian instantly withdrew his hand and shuddered in horror, just the tip of his fingernails felt like it had made his entire body freeze especially if he had not been careful and dipped his entire hand.
"Hiiii..what the fuck is this water??" Shouted Lin Tian involuntarily due to his shock.
After that he stared at the row of stones, he knew if this stone was used as a bridge to get to the middle of the lake. Without any hesitation, Lin Tian then stepped foot across the stone bridge, he was indeed about to go to the small island to be used as a place to meditate on this peak.
When he reached the island, Lin Tian was again startled by another strange phenomenon. When Lin Tian set foot on the island, even though the surrounding temperature was still fairly cold, but it was much better than the temperature on the land even the temperature on this island was arguably warmer when compared to the mountain peak that was used as a place to practice Lin Tian for seven years.
"What is this really about." Said Lin Tian astonished by all the strange phenomena he was experiencing.
"Huh.given up, hopefully none of this is a bad thing." Finally Lin Tian chose not to care about all that and directly sat down cross-legged to meditate.
Lin Tian started taking deep breaths to focus his mind, before long he closed his eyes to start his meditation. Yet....
"Deggs!! yuhuukk....!!"
Suddenly Lin Tian's heart seemed to stop and this young man immediately vomited fresh blood.
Lin Tian rounded his eyeballs in shock as well as astonishment. He had just absorbed a bit of the cold around him but somehow the cold sensation felt exactly the same as when he touched the well water. What surprised him was that the island here should have a warmer temperature than the land even with well water, but why when he tried to absorb it, he said, the temperature there suddenly turned into a terrifying cold??
He was not willing to give up so easily, Lin Tian then tried to meditate once again but this time he was more careful than before. It was indeed very cold at first like it was going to freeze Lin Tian's heart, but over time he got used to it and was able to absorb the cold there without the slightest problem.

It had been a week since Lin Tian had sat in the center of the island to meditate without moving a single bit. Today he finally opened his eyes.

It was seen a thin mist coming out from Lin Tian's breath.
He then stood up and looked around, nothing had changed. Lin Tian did not realize that he had been sitting there for a week without eating or drinking. Then he immediately darted through the row of black stones to return to the mainland.
Lin Tian was astonished because he felt that the temperature around him felt mediocre, really very much different compared to before he woke up from his meditation.
Then he thought of something that suddenly made him curious.
" Hm...how would it be if I dipped my hand in the well today? is it still the same as before?" Thus Lin Tian thought inwardly.
Without any hesitation, Lin Tian directly dipped his hand as deep as a wrist into the well. Strange, not at all torturous as before. This naturally made Lin Tian feel extremely happy as it meant that his current profound strength ability had already improved greatly.
"Hahahahaha..remarkable!! it's not in vain I almost died to climb this mountain."
Then Lin Tian made a series of movements from his Halimun Sakti Silat Science creation, Then he smacked his palm towards the well water.
"Booom!! byuuur!!"
The result is amazing, the blow was able to create a big wave that rolled from the lake water.

Lin Tian suddenly stopped his legs and stood looking at the cave, for some reason he felt very curious about the contents of the cave.
"Wait a minute, Miss." Finally Lin Tian unconsciously stepped his foot toward the cave.
