The Ghost of Fog

The Ghost of Fog
Chapters 214. Beggar the Makers of the Onar

After the conquest of the red district by the Zhang family, the entire Song empire was in an uproar. They are confused, shocked and of course sad over the disappearance of the entertainment district that they have been great.

What is even more sad is the fact that the red district is a place where the members of the Devil are no Appeal. I don't know why the Song emperor didn't know about this, but it's possible that the emperor had never thought before that the courtesan was being used as a base for spies.

By the time the imperial army came there, the entire district was already shapelessly disheveled. Only the rubble left due to the massive burning by the Zhang family. But of course the Eastern complex is still safe and sound.

Since all the residents of the red district were dead, the empire had no one to interrogate. So the only way to know everything is through the Zhang family who first became aware of the matter.

And this morning, Zhang Hongli representing his grandson came to the palace with three other Ghost Rows. This visit the Song emperor did was none other than to find out who was the leader of the red district and what the true purpose of the red district was established. He also wanted to ask Zhang Hongli for an opinion on the approximate actions the No Appeal Demon would take after knowing one of the places was destroyed.

Along with the start of the meeting, in a village in the East of the king's city, Lin Tian was seen with his beggar form, walking gontai in the village streets.

His steps are uncertain, sometimes tilted to the right, sometimes tilted to the left, or even rarely seen himself almost falling forward. But of course all this is just acting and made-up.

He arrived at one of the restaurants that are not too luxurious, but quite magnificent for the size of a "beggar" like him.

He walked slowly to the restaurant and something commonplace happened. As he set his foot at the entrance, a middle-aged servant hurriedly ran towards him and immediately rebuked while moving his hands like driving away a cat.

"Go, go, there can be no beggars here."

Raising his face covered in rickety hair, Lin Tian replied while occasionally coughing, "Uhuk? Why are you driving out a poor beggar like me? Uhuk..."

"Didn't you see them? They may leave because they are disgusted by you!" he said pointing at the customers who were staring at Lin Tian with sharp gazes. But there were also those who looked at him with a bit of pity.

Lin Tian circulated his gaze and smiled, "Whether it's disgust or whatever, but I see myself still quite clean. Look, they look at me with pity." Lin Tian pointed to one of the tables.

"Hey friend, you are too rude with your customers." continued Lin Tian and threw a gold coin into the servant's face.

This servant wavered and as soon as he caught that one gold coin, he showed the face of the sumringah and immediately pocketed it. A second later, he returned.

"It's up to you to bribe me with anything, but I won't see it! This money you give, I take it! But still, you're a beggar and that disgusts customers. Go-go!"

Instead of responding to the clasps of the servant, Lin Tian instead looked at a table containing three haughty-looking men. Their clothes were black and all of them carried swords.

"Devil No Appeal.hehe, it turns out you guys have spread everywhere." Inner Lin Tian and smiled towards the three of them. These three people looked at Lin Tian's smile with sharp and suspicious gazes.

A few seconds after, one of the three men exclaimed to the maid, "Let her in!"

This servant was of course shocked and turned his back. Staring at the three people with wide eyes while protesting disapprovingly, "Master, he is a dirty beggar. Can't–"

"Let him in!" back the voice sounded to cut off the servant's speech. Sounds more assertive than before.

The waiter became jerried as well and plundered towards them. "All right."

He then left from there after throwing a piercing gaze at Lin Tian who was still smiling.

"Oh.pulling." he muttered in his heart and walked up to the table of the three people.

Without further ado, he immediately sat down on one of the empty chairs and placed his "stick" on the table.

"Thank you to those gentlemen who helped me. The sneer really can't appreciate people." he said with a grin that was able to give a sense of suspicion to the three.

The three members of the No Appeal Demon looked at each other and saw Lin Tian's "stick" full of daily life. "It's not a stick." Inner them together.

Whereas Lin Tian had already called another waiter and ordered food. Shortly after that the food came and Lin Tian immediately ate it, but after one mouthful, Lin Tian grumbled bitterly.

"This rice is tasteless, this fried fish has absolutely no taste! Is this a place of eating too sacred for beggars?"

The servants there suddenly threw a dislike look. Indeed, the chef had deliberately not given any spice to his cooking because he secretly looked down on Lin Tian as well.

"Wah-wah.good beggars are opposed, bad warriors are flattered. Is this what the people around here are?" back he sent a reproach while continuing to chew his food without caring for the unfriendly gazes of everyone.

But a second later, this young man grinned as soon as he knew that ten customers had locked him up after hearing the snap of the finger.

"An order? Not bad..not bad...."

"Young beggar, it is unfortunate that your fate must be begging at an early age. But even more unfortunate is the fate of you who met us this morning. If you want to apologize for all your words, then we will let you live without one leg" said one of the men before Lin Tian with a mocking smile.

Lin Tian's sneer grew wider and he replied, "Haha, what do you mean? What do I mean you bad swordsmen? Or do you feel that way?"

"Pull your words little boy."

"Interesting in my words? The true man who speaks will be held to death!"

"What a son of a bitch, tired of living!" the man snapped impatiently and slashed his sword.

"Shuut."

The sword darted rapidly towards the mottled face of Lin Tian who was still delicately eating his bland dishes. He only glanced at a glance before clearing his throat softly.

"Cging...."

The sword was like hitting something invisible, making a loud buzzing sound. A second later, the sword flipped over and instead attacked the face of its owner.

"What's!? Ughhhh!" as fast as lightning he dodged and saw his sword thrown far back until it managed to break a large urn.

This made the ten allies pull out their weapons and point at Lin Tian with their swords. Except for a middle-aged man and a small child sitting in the corner of the room. They looked at Lin Tian with frowns.

"Oh...oh..want to make a fuss? May..can." said Lin Tian casually and threw the rest of his meal over.

Great and also strange, the dishes and side dishes were floating in the air and circling around. In that turnaround, grains of rice and fish bones shot to and fro looking for mengsanya.

Surprised and astonished, the ten men were unable to escape and left four of them dead instantly. Leaving six people and three people before Lin Tian.

These nine people then exclaimed furiously and charged forward. So angry, they forgot the action of Lin Tian earlier which could only be played by high-level warriors.

"Bored life!" said Lin Tian leisurely and took his "stick".

He swirled around the staff to hold back any rain of swords coming towards him. Without getting up to his feet, he was able to block all of their attacks without being injured in the slightest.

"Your throat! Aaagh!"

There were terrifying screams as Lin Tian's staff managed to knock out their neck bones. Simultaneously, Lin Tian sent out a lightning bolt that managed to sever their veins, making them die right then and there.

"Woahahh!"

The servants who were there ran in a mess in fear. They went into the inner room and ran out through the back door for fear that if they continued to be there, they would be carried away.

Leave three people in the room. Lin Tian and the middle-aged man were with his little girl.

"Young beggar, you're no ordinary person."

"Don't call me a beggar! Which beggar would be able to take out one gold coin for free?" replied Lin Tian without taking a look.

"Ehm, sorry sir."

"Hm, who are you? You didn't move when they attacked me? Did you know that I'm not as simple as I look? If that's the case, you're definitely not an ordinary person either."
