Chapter 43. Father and Son

In the morning, the next day, a large crowd gathered in the front yard of the leader's residence. They were made up of a combination of officers and warriors of the Hu family.

They lined up neatly in the courtyard. Beside each person, there was a warhorse that looked very gallant and strong.

So was Lin Tian and the Southern Wind God. They also participated in the ranks which consisted of approximately sixties people.

In front of all of them, more precisely on the stage, stood gallantly a handsome young man who from head to toe was all white in color. It was Hu Tao.

"We all know, if the victory we achieve is due to luck. If the father and the two twin demons were here, I can assure you that we would not be able to twitch" he said in a calm voice but loud and authoritative.

"Then from that today, we will follow the entourage of fathers to destroy them all especially the two demons. And for your own father, leave it to me! No one dared to touch it!!" again the young man spoke by emphasizing each sentence at the end of his words.

"Ready leader!!" answer them compactly.

Hu Tao looked at all of them. Of the many troops, each person showed a different expression. Some look frightened, some are flat and some are red in the face because of anger. These were the warriors and elders of the Hu family who were already too enraged by Hu Kai's behavior.

After that Hu Tao climbed on the back of his horse. A large horse that was pure white like snow, was perfectly suited to the person riding it.

When Hu Tao was already sitting on the horseback, the people who were there became dumbstruck. They stood with wide eyes in awe looking at the young leader.

Hu Tao looked extremely gallant as he sat on the white horse. He looked like a snow prince coming out of the palace about to wander. His white hair fluttered following the slow but soothing gust of wind.

His red eyes looked straight ahead like a sword. There was a great spirit and ambition behind the young man's eyes.

Then, Hu Tao ran his horse to head towards the gate of the residence. The troops instantly gave way to the leader. They truly showed respect and disdain for his new Master.

"We're leaving!!" finally Hu Tao said after arriving at the gate.

Simultaneously they all directly rode on each other's horse backs and followed their leader. Lin Tian and the old monk walked to the left right of Hu Tao. For the first, fourth and sixth elders, they walked hand in hand behind the three leading men.

As the large army passed through the streets of the city, the residents looked at them with gazes of astonishment and admiration. Especially when watching the two leading men.

Hu Tao and Lin Tian looked extremely harmonious. From the shirt to the horse, it's all white. It was only the difference that Lin Tian wore a mask.

Finally, the group left White River City accompanied by the cheers of local residents. They did not know the purpose of the group, but they all held full confidence in Hu Tao that the young leader would do something important for his city.

For two days the troops had been chasing North to catch up with the previous leader, Hu Kai.

According to Hu Tao's estimation, they should have been close to his father's whereabouts.

"Is it still a long time?" asked Lin Tian suddenly.

"If it counts, it should be a little later. Because dad used a horse-drawn carriage, so they walked slower than us. Also, during these two days, we have never rested for more than three hours. That's why, I think father's whereabouts must be close."

"From home to the rendezvous, with a slow journey as father did, they should have been there for about seven days." Hu Tao said.

"That means less than two more days before they arrive." murmured Lin Tian.

After a few hours, finally in front of them was seen a group of thirty people. That's Hu Kai's entourage.

"That's it, quickly surround them!!" hu Tao's orders to his men.

Without being commanded twice, the army spread into three rows. The first row followed Hu Tao to ambush from the front, the second row from the right, and the third row from the left.

"Hm...what is that?" muttered a guard from Hu Kai's entourage. He was astonished when he looked far away, there was a large group heading towards him.

A few seconds later, his face paled as he recognized the face of the person riding the front horse. Quickly he called out to his friends.

"That's young master Hu Tao!! The young master and his army have caught up with us!!"

"What!?? How's it possible??" asked one of them in surprise mixed with wonder.

When Hu Tao arrived near the entourage, he stopped his horse's footsteps. He looked sharply ahead, it turned out that they were all ready with their respective weapons to welcome Hu Tao's arrival.

This also made the young leader's troops pull out their weapons and prepare for alert.

"I want to meet Dad!!" hu Tao said loudly to the group of thirty people.

"Heh don't be arrogant you boy!! Will you suddenly come here with a lot of troops" snapped one of Hu Kai's entourage while looking to the left right observing the siege of Hu Tao's troops.

Lin Tian who heard this had already raised his arm and was about to break the person's head with a long-range punch. However, this action was stopped by Hu Tao.

Not long after, from inside a fairly large and beautiful horse carriage, out three people dressed in luxurious clothes. They were Hu Tao and the Beautiful Demon Twins.

Seeing his son sitting with a gallant attitude on a horse's back carrying such an army, his heart became astonished. So he quickly stepped forward, followed by the two women and said.

"Hu Tao, what do you want!?" asked the old man a little snapping at his son.

Hu Tao got off the horse and replied, "Sorry father, but now I have taken the seat of the Hu family leader. I'm here to talk to dad so I'd like it"

"Durrect boy!! How dare you rebel against me huh!?? Finish them!!"

Hu Tao's words had not been resolved because they had been cut off by Hu Kai who was angry because of his son's actions.

Hu Tao was surprised, he had not made any preparations at all but a group of people had stormed towards him, so quickly he gave orders to the troops.

"Face them!!"

Clashes are inevitable. In the middle of the mountain range that stood high and majestic, there was an all-out battle between two opposing forces.

"Dad know, don't be fooled by them!!"

Right now, Hu Tao was fighting against his own father. As he commanded, from the side of his army absolutely no one dared to interfere with the father and son's fight. They were very obedient to Hu Tao not to touch Hu Kai.

Those five people were the Southern Wind God, Lin Tian, along with the three Hu family elders. Although they ganged, but it cannot be said that they were superior.

Because of those poisonous nails, they became very careful in attacking. Until the battle is balanced.

"Hiaatty!!" Shouted the Southern Wind God with the first elder from left and right.

They both carried out a punch full of energy in each arm to knock one of the women down.

The two palms met the delicate palm of one of the twin women. Then, the other woman moved as fast as lightning sending a counterattack as the two arms of the monk and elder were still stuck together with the opponent's palm.
