The Hated Savior

The Hated Savior
CHAPTERS 108

The small light star became a lamp amid the dark ruins of Candana Palace. A long hallway with stunning relief ornaments to tell a beautiful country that now only leaves dark memories.

After walking down a long hall, Aquila has now arrived at an altar with a statue of a wolf and a Goddess with flower runes that indicate that she is the Goddess of love.

"It's come this far, just a little more...." Aquila said as she placed Vent Leger's living jewel on the altar that was already filled with dust.

"Open a hope, then,

It is a life,

Light and darkness converge,

It is a symphony that will not end,

My request is to convey,

For the return of the pillar which has disappeared." Aquila uttered her wish wholeheartedly and channeled her entire mana into Vent Leger's life gem.

After a long time Aquila channeled mana and mana now reached the end and will be exhausted. Aquila felt a pain that began to creep up on her chest and ended with blood flowing out of her mouth.

"S-a little more..." Aquila said by strengthening herself with a stabbing taste in her heart.

A gray light shot out from within the gems of life bit by bit and finally the entire stone of life glowed entirely, and over time the light that came out from the gems of life formed the silhouette of a small-sized animal and in the blink of an eye turned into a big one with a gallant body.

After all that passed, the light disappeared into the body of the animal which turned out to be a wolf with a crown and bearing the jewel of life attached to its forehead. His eyes were still closed but slowly opened and showed a silver-colored net.

"Thank God.... I think I can take a break for a while..." Aquila said in a soft voice but full of relief for her success awakened one of the pillars that were gone.

The wolf was still silent at the altar and digested what had just happened to him who was already asleep in a peaceful world.

Bruck...

The sound of falling objects made the wolf realize from his daydream and turned his attention to the falling sound that was not far from where he was. And what he saw was a girl with silver unraveling hair lying with a pale face and a stream of blood decorating her chin that formed a straight line.

The wolf that was none other than Vent Leger the pillar of wind directly descended from the altar that he had raised and approached Aquila who was already unconscious.

"Why is this human scent so similar to Catarino and the others?" Her question was astonished while sniffing out of curiosity.

Amidst his confusion, a purple snake of medium size instantly attacked Vent Leger by opening its mouth wide baring its sharp fangs. Sensing his self-threatening danger, Vent Leger instantly dodged and growled warily.

"Hey.... Adrian...!!!! Why did you leave me....!!!" Shouted Shiro who was still inside the dark passageway.

Shiro could not see in front of him as the light shining down on the place dazzled his eyes which were still adjusting to the dark passageway. And when he got to the place where Shiro and Adrian were headed, there stood a wolf staring at Adrian, and Adrian stared intently at the wolf.

"Catarinos? Is that you?" Ask Vent Leger to make sure.

"Yes, that's my name, and you..." Shiro replied as he observed the wolf staring fixedly at his curious self.

"Wait.... This aura.... You're Eger?" Said Shiro who was very surprised because what he thought was dead and could not come back again turned out to be in front of him without leaving a scar and his fur looks smoother with a wind motif that has become features of Vent Leger.

"It's me, shouldn't I have left this place, but why can I go back?" His words echoed those of Shiro, and Vent Leger was very surprised and happy with his return to gather with his other brothers.

Shiro immediately ran towards Vent Leger and hit the body of a wolf who still did not understand what happened to him, and his daydreams instantly froze because of Shiro's sudden embrace he thought.

"Thank God, I don't think I can see you back." Shiro said happily.

"I'm also very happy to see you back, but who is that human and the purple snake that attacked me?" Vent Leger asked curiously.

"You don't know Adrian? That purple snake is Adrian!." Shiro said in a slightly high tone because the wolf in front of him did not know Adrian the pillar of the night.

"I can't feel the aura from her, it's only natural that I don't know her." Vent Leger said because indeed he could not feel the aura of the sizzling purple snake threatening on him.

"Where is Aquila's sister?" Shiro asked as he observed the bright surroundings at the altar but other than that it was only darkness.

"What do you mean it's the man Adrian is protecting?" Vent Leger asked as he glanced at the purple snake that was none other than Adrian who looked at him with hostility.

Shiro immediately looked around and saw Adrian hiding in the dark and only showed his head. Then Shiro quickly walked towards the wary Adrian, and sure enough he saw the weakly lying Aquila and a pale face.

"Why do you care so much about that human being, all those humans are so rotten with deceit." Vent Leger said in a suspicious tone, indicating that he really hated all humans who live in the world Callista.

"I understand how you feel, Eger. But do not equate our brother with a human who once hurt you and enslaved our other brother. I hope you don't look at Aquila's sister as much as they do." The word Shiro commemorates Vent Leger for his hatred towards humans that is still inherent in his soul.

"Make what? And that man is not our brother. At least we're just being used by that vile human." Said Vent Leger who was stubborn because of the incident he experienced.

"As far as you are Eger. Just so you know, he was the one who saved you and raised you back with the sacrifices he made. I hope you understand Eger." Shiro said while holding Aquila on his back and Adrian who was still tightly attached to Aquila's body, then left Vent Leger who still did not accept the fact that he was resurrected by humans brought by Shiro and Adrian.
