Flashes of lightning continued to creep through the clouds and followed by the deafening roar of thunderbolts, the roar of ferocious beasts rang out from within the forest not far from them.
The black cloud continued to expand with lightning that continued to be seen, a thunderbolt fell to the surface of the lake that was churned by the blowing of strong winds. After the lightning flash was lost the surface of the lake was reflecting smoke and was dragged along by strong winds.
"Well, that's amazing." Aquila was amazed by the flash of light but Leave and Minami stared in horror at her nona who was fascinated by the previous thunderbolt.
"Rugiel...." Shiro said with sadness. Aquila who listened to Shiro's shrill voice immediately stroked her head to calm Shiro down.
"Just calm down, we can definitely save Lossiel." Aquila said comfortingly.
The strong wind howled loudly, the tree where Aquila was hiding now becoming unsteady, with them forced to come down from their hiding. The soldiers saw a man they thought was a stranger, but not a white cat on a girl's shoulders.
"Isn't that the cat yesterday that made a fuss?" Ask one of the people in the line.
"True, it's the cat. If we can catch him, you'll give us a great gift." Said the other with a greedy look towards Shiro.
Ghauu.......
Screeches and roars were heard so loudly from inside the cave that they broke their intention to catch the troublemaker.
From inside the dark cave appeared faintly the head of an eagle with its sharp beak, after coming out completely from inside the cave visible real forms of animals that look faint before.
"What is Griffin?" Aquila did not believe it.
"Rugiel. That's Rugiel sis." Shiro said repeatedly. Minami and Leave became wary of him especially the soldiers who wanted to pounce towards them.
"Oh. so you brought your life here." Shouted someone on Griffin's back.
"Sorry, do we know each other?" Said Aquila casually and did not forget her flat face.
"You're still acting presumptuous before me....." The southern imperial general took a black ride because of Aquila.
"Compulsive? you're saying I'm arrogant old man? And we just met now. So there's no reason I'm greeting you" Aquila denied with sarcasm.
"How dare you, when you have made my son barren!" With a red face.
"Oh so you're his parents? It's only fair that he doesn't have manners." Aquila's scathing remarks instantly made the general speechless.
"You.... Griffin attack him..!" His orders to Griffin. Then Griffin's mouth opened and a bright yellow mana gathered in his mouth and shot it towards Aquila standing up.
Shiro swiftly turned to the size of that Griffin and made a barrier from the deadly attack.
BUUMM.....
A huge explosion and black smoke rising high, strong winds blew out the smoke and exposed what was inside the black smoke.
A large hole with the ground destroyed, but the person inside was not injured. The general and the soldier were surprised that there was one of the pillars protecting Aquila.
Leave quickly makes a cage from the crystal and keeps the soldiers still gathering while Minami hunts down the soldiers who attack him and makes him unconscious once a blow. After that Minami threw it easily towards the cage made by Leave before.
Aquila pulled out her sword from inside the necklace of her dimension, and walked casually towards the general who was still standing beside Griffin. The sword of Aquila that touched the wastelands caused dust and Shiro walked beside Aquila.
"So old man, why don't you take care of your work. Why bother taking care of me with your weathered bones?" Aquila said with the insults seen on her face.
"You are also a little girl. You better just give up and accept your fate of dying in my hands."
"Unfortunately, who are you? God?"
Griffin stared intently at Shiro, and flapped his large, broad wings and flew towards the still thundering storm clouds. Shiro took out his white wings and flew into the dark sky.
The general took out his sword hanging from his waist, the black armor adding to the terrifying impression that emanated from his direction. Without talk or provocation, the general swung his sharp cold sword at Aquila who was still relaxed where he stood.
Aquila casually instigated the sharp attack by shifting her body to the right and kicking the general's back violently.
The general fell on the barren ground as a result of Aquila's attack with blood flowing from his nose. The General attacked again but the same incident as before happened again but with a sword stuck on the ground to avoid his body falling to the ground.
"So old man, you better just go home than fall again and again." Aquila said as she put the sword into her container.
"Don't say much..." The general immediately drained the mana of his sword and charged back towards Aquila.
"Old man, have mercy on your porous bones." Aquila caught the general's hand and then twisted it behind her.
"Based coward! Let go of me.!" The general tried to remove his hand from Aquila's grip.
"Old man, don't move much. A broken bone later.." Aquila's warning to the general who kept trying to get rid of him.
Aquila took off the grip of her hand and then pulled the general's hand back and broke it with her elbow wrapped in Wister's harness.
The sound of a broken bone was muffled by the sound of a strong wind but the scream of pain could not be hidden by the strong wind.
"Agh...."
"I told you, don't move much. Old man doesn't believe it." Aquila said cuek and cleaned her hands by patting repeatedly.
The pain in his hand could not bear the anger of the insults that continued to be uttered from Aquila. Then take the sword that fell on the arid ground and attack back. Aquila casually continued to dodge and picked up the sword she had entered then casually swung to fend off.
The general's sword was cut in half, but the general's sword was thicker than Aquila's.
"ups.. Sorry I didn't mean it." Aquila said indifferently and then swung her sword back and slashed the general's right hand with her sword.
"Ughhh must be very sick." Aquila said pretending it wasn't her fault.
"Aghhh..... You dare to do this to me!?" Frustrated the general as his right hand was severed. With blood flowing from his arm and a broken left hand, the general was unable to resist and could only endure the pain of his hands.
