The Hated Savior

The Hated Savior
CHAPTER 118

Life is always a dream in a dream in silence. The song of the winter wind brings sleep to living creatures who hibernate sleep in comfort.

Minami walked in the bustle of human activity in the Zemlya kingdom who cried out to peddle the wares of those who were still cultivating in their stalls. No children's laughter could be heard were just baby cries of unknown origin.

Laughter of crows along with the cries of the babies became very common for the people of Zemlya who are always haunted by sounds unusual for newcomers. So also with Aquila who always sat by the window accompanied by a book given by Vent Leger and Helios that Aquila had not had time to read and accompanied the laughter of ravens of unknown origin.

"Sister, can Leil be here?." Ask a little boy with a light brown mane with honey-colored eyes.

"Come in." Aquila answered while reading the book in her hand.

"Why? Is there a problem?" Aquila asked after seeing Soleil's trembling hand.

"No, sister, Leil just felt uncomfortable because of that ugly crow's voice." Obviously Soleil uttered what did not make him uncomfortable alone.

"Then, where are Rugiel and Adrian, aren't the two of them always with you?" Ask Aquila back.

"Leil didn't know, when Leil woke up Giel and Adrian had disappeared. And so, Leil came here." Answer Soleil who had slept on Aquila's bed.

"Oh, then, sleep here. I'll accompany you." Aquila said that was still sitting in front of the window with a pile of books that were obsolete in time.

"Thank you, Brother Dita." Soleil said, then began to fall asleep again.

"Not to think about. Sleep on." Aquila said as she glanced at the teenage boy who had fallen asleep.

"So fast as you fall asleep. He is the only one who likes to fall asleep. It's like a sleeping princess." Aquila muttered and continued reading the book that had stopped.

As time passed, the surroundings were still the same as before, a gloomy purple light still shone on the Zemlya empire accompanied by the chirping of crows who did not know when it would stop making a sound. As well as the cry of the baby that always decorates into the accompaniment of a song of grief lamentation from a child abandoned by the mother.

"Sir Aquila, I'm in." Shouted someone from behind the door of Aquila's room that was always closed, and the one who asked for that permission was none other than Shiro

"Come in." Aquila.

"Sister, has Aquila not felt anything strange lately?" Shiro asked directly without making small talk as usual.

"of course. Did anyone in this empire perform baby sacrifice rituals to extend their lifespan?" Aquila asked as if she didn't care.

"Yes, but I don't know her yet, brother. My other brothers are searching for the existence of that vile man." Shiro said grimly.

"No need to rush. At the festival, he'll show me the trunk of his nose." Said Aquila who seemed to know the events in the future.

"What's right, aren't we going to free Adrian's main body?" Shiro asked who remembered their initial plan that would free Adrian's main body confined in the Zemlya imperial palace.

"No need, later we will free Adrian's main body." Aquila said by closing the book she read aloud to make a voice that seemed to affirm her words.

"Alright, I will inform those who are discussing in the main room." Shiro said as he walked out of Aquila's room.

"Nothing, you sleep here. I'll take care of something important. If sister Nami and sister Leave ask about where I'm just tell them I'm going for a minute." Answer aquila before leaving the room.

"Ep... Leil will deliver Dita's message." Soleil said obediently.

"Then I'm gone." Aquila said with a reassuring smile before closing the door.

Aquila walked away from the room she occupied and towards where the pillars gathered in the guest room that was discussing the very matter of human survival that was in the shade of the pillars living in the territory of Adrian.

The five of them looked serious about what happened when they came to the Zemlya empire, which had already disturbed mothers who had babies. No matter women or men, they are forcibly taken and do not even hesitate to kill the parents of the baby.

"So, Eger, do you know the existence of the main culprit of all this chaos?" Ask Helios.

"The aura is very faint, I can't detect it at all." Vent Leger replied, shaking his head in a sign that he did not find the perpetrator of the abduction of innocent babies.

"Then, what are we gonna do?" Ask Rugiel while staring one by one his sullen-faced brothers.

"You don't need to think about it for a while, what we're now doing is liberating Adrian's main body." Said Aquila who suddenly appeared.

"Sister Aquila, since when was Aquila's brother here?" Helios was surprised.

"Since you talked about the disappearance of the babies." Answer Aquila.

"But brother, this imperial palace is heavily guarded. There's even a trap in every corner where Adrian's main body is in brackets." Said Vent Leger.

"Hem, wouldn't that be fun?" Aquila said with a fluffy smile. But not with the face of Vent Leger who does not expect that people who are considered as brothers by them really like dangerous things.

"Sir Aquila, are we just breaking through?" Ask Helios to make sure.

"of course. I'll be the bait, I haven't moved my stiff muscles in a long time, and you're freeing Adrian when that happens." Aquila answered as she spread her hand.

"Son, wouldn't that pay for the identity of the big brother, with the appearance of this big brother they would know that we did it." Shiro said he considered the safety of all of them.

"Let's just calm Shiro, I won't do such a reckless thing" Aquila said, then instantly transformed into her previous look with jet-black hair with blue and red eyes.

"Haa.... W-did I not look wrong, brother Aquila is that rumored demon?!" Vent Leger's question was in disbelief.

"Of course this is my first look before I turn a level into a god level." Aquila.

"N-can't be?!"

"Eger, that's right. This is our brother, the Messiah the devil proposes." Helios said with a stern face.
