Gabrielle carefully laid Elea's body on their bed. When he came home from the Young Family residence, he found his wife already sound asleep with her head leaning against the sofa. It seemed like Elea had spent some time drawing while waiting for her to come home because on the table there were some papers that contained scribbles of her hands.
"Elea, what exactly happened to your past? Why does everything feel so complicated to digest?" gabrielle said as she stared fixedly at his wife's face.
Elea muttered softly as Gabrielle touched her face. She turned to Gabrielle and fell asleep again.
"Darling... What would happen to you if you knew about the secret they were hiding? Will you feel broken?."
Gabrielle sighed softly while rubbing her face. He pensively remembers his conversation with Mr. Bryan, Elea's real father.
Flashbacks
"Mr Bryan, my mom and dad said you've met at the funeral. Is that true?" gabrielle asked as she looked deeply at the man sitting in front of her.
Yes, after dinner was over, Gabrielle deliberately asked for time to talk to Elaa's father. Although Elea's father did not show any strange gurgles when Gabrielle mentioned the problem of the baby being dumped, somehow Gabrielle was even interested in extracting information from him first rather than Elea's grandfather who clearly knew the secret.
"True Young Master. I should have come to see you that afternoon, but because there was something I had to send Patricia who came there" Bryan replied honestly.
"No problem, I can understand. If you may know, who did you visit at the funeral?."
Gabrielle's forehead shriveled at Bryan's suddenly sad face. She felt that something was wrong with her father-in-law's response.
"Don't answer if it makes you feel uncomfortable, sir" Gabrielle said.
Bryan smiled wryly. He then shook his head. "It's okay Young Master. I was visiting the grave of my son and wife from my first marriage. They both died nineteen years ago right after our daughter was born into the world."
"I'm so sorry, Mr. Bryan."
Bryan nodded.
"Thank you, Young Master. Oh yeah, my daughter's name is Eleanor Young. It was the name my wife would call me every night. We are both looking forward to Eleanor's presence until an accident leaves Sandara severely injured. Eleanor was saved, but shortly after my wife died she also left. It seems like the two of them did deliberately want to torture me "sad Bryan said.
Gabrielle tries to find lies in Bryan's every word. Instead of getting what she was looking for, Gabrielle was shocked when she saw Bryan crying with his head down.
"Young Master, I'm sorry if I'm going to say a little disrespectful to you. I just want to remind you not to make mistakes that can make you lose loved ones. It feels really torturous, Young Master. Want to die but the angel of death never come to pick me up" continued Bryan Pilu.
"There's no point regretting what happened, Mr. Bryan. It's all over anyway. But if you may know, what mistake have you made to suffer like this?" ask Gabrielle to investigate.
Bryan finally dared to show his face when Gabrielle asked about the mistake he had done to his late son and wife first. With a heavy heart he finally told the sad incident that was experienced by the woman he loved so much.
"You know Young Master, whenever I come home from work, Sandara will always greet me with a very warm smile. Never once did it appear that he was experiencing the pressure that came from both my parents. Sandara was an angel, she bore the burden of suffering alone just because she didn't want to see me fight with my parents. And the big mistake I have made is to realize too late that all this time I have been pulling Sandara into a steep ravine. In this house, he was treated much worse than the servants. Even in a state of great pregnancy, she was forced to do heavy work until she fell down the stairs. And yes, you can guess what happens next, right? My son and wife had to leave because I was the one who neglected to look after them both."
Gabrielle's breathing was so heavy that she knew that she had suffered before she was even born. But Bryan's explanation never answered Gabrielle's curiosity. He was quite disturbed by the tomb that read his wife's name.
"Mr Bryan, was Eleanor born a twin?."
Bryan was stunned to hear Gabrielle's question. "No, Young Master. Our only daughter is Eleanor. And now he's living in God's heaven" Bryan replied honestly.
Gabrielle's eyes widened. He then looked towards Ares who was also being shocked just like him.
"So your son is not a twin? But how did this happen?" asked Gabrielle unconsciously.
"Eleanor, she's there now...
"Young Master Gabrielle" called Ares in a pretty loud voice.
Just barely. Fortunately, Ares quickly stopped Gabrielle from saying that Elea was in her house.
Gabrielle who was aware of her mistake tightened her jaw. He then rubbed his face rough to redden.
Bryan who was still curious chose to ask again. He felt strange because his guests were like knowing his daughter who had died since infancy.
"Sorry Young Master. If it's not wrong you mentioned Eleanor, my daughter. Why do you look like you've known him?."
There was a long sigh coming from Gabrielle's mouth when she realized that her father Elea was suspicious. His intelligent brain immediately turned around looking for an excuse.
"My mind is still distracted by the news of the baby that was thrown away earlier, Mr. Bryan. So I'm talking a little ngawur" replied Gabrielle of origin.
Bryan ria after hearing that answer.
"Oh, I think you met the spirit of my daughter, Young Master. That's why I was shocked when you mentioned Eleanor's name" Bryan said.
Gabrielle smiles. Not wanting to talk wrong again, he immediately resigned from there. For now, this information is more than enough. He would find time again the next day if there was a chance to come back to visit.
"Then excuse me, Mr. Bryan. It's late, I'm sure you must have been very exhausted after taking care of the company. Take a break, and please extend my greetings to the rest of your family. The food in your house is great. I like.!"
"Thank God if you like him, Young Master. Thank you so much for coming to our humble home. Be careful on the road" said Bryan politely.
"Together, Mr. Bryan."
Flashback Now
"Elea, even if you're not a member of that family, I promise that your happiness will still be a top priority for me. I won't let you get hurt, baby. Not going" Gabrielle said solemnly.
The only thing Gabrielle could think of right now was Elea's happiness. Her heart was incredibly sick considering Bryan's words saying that Elea's mother had very bad days while she was pregnant. After a satisfied contemplation, Gabrielle decided to immediately follow her wife to go to dreamland. He grabbed the tiny body and then held it very tightly.
'I love you Eleanor Young.'
