“Good morning James, do you miss me?”
Still transfixed, James looked at the girl in front of him as if in disbelief. “Grace.”
“Gosh. I miss you so much James.” The girl called Grace rushed straight into James' arms, ignoring the surprised face of the man.
“When did you come home to England?” James asked after managing to overcome his shock.
“Just yesterday and come straight here as soon as my business with my stepfather is done. I'll stay with you.” Grace said showing the large suitcase still left outside the door.
“But... What's wrong with your apartment?” James asked in confusion.
“I sold it so I could stay with you.” Grace replied chuckling.
In the past, Grace was James' lover since they both stepped on the fourth semester. Two years ago, Grace moved to Finland to live with her troubled mother and stepfather. Grace has since left James without giving any more news.
And now the girl had suddenly appeared before him, smiling and looking at James exactly as the girl had done. There was a bit of pleasure in James seeing Grace, but now things are different. Already there was Natasha in his possession, he could not possibly divide his heart with another.
“James...who came.” Natasha's voice from behind rippled James' daydream. Natasha looked at him full of question marks.
“Natasha. Introduce, he's Grace..” James said introducing his guest.
“I'm James's girlfriend. Well, if I hadn't gone back to Finland we might have gotten engaged by now.” Grace continued James' words, “kamu Natasha. James's Sister. I hope you didn't trouble my James with your potent attitude huh. From now on I also live here, so you should get used to living independently.”
“Grace..” Erang James.
“Why James. Didn't you used to complain with Natasha's spoiled attitude, that's why you rarely go back to Russia. But now that you take it easy, I will teach Natasha to live independently.” Grace said confidently regardless of Natasha's paled face. “Now can you bring my suitcase to James.”'s room
“Let me just.” Sela James, but her steps are held back by Grace's hand checks.
“Let your sister, she should be taught independently. You recall. Anyway I still want to be with you.” Grace said, immediately pulling James inside, leaving Natasha still in her place.
Finally with great difficulty, Natasha brought the large suitcase to James's room. He really did not expect all this time James saw him as a spoiled child. Is that wrong? His father always fulfilled all his requests, so did Daniel who did not hesitate to give a lot of abundance of affection even when he did not need something Daniel would buy him. Yes, father and Daniel not only gave an abundance of treasure, but also a considerable affection. Only James, only that man ignored him all this time for hating his efficacious attitude? Grace's words not only struck her heart, Natasha seemed to have just felt a loud slap.
After putting down Grace's suitcase and removing a trace of tears, Natasha went back down to the kitchen for breakfast. But again he had to swallow a bitter pill as soon as he saw his cooking for breakfast with James almost barren at eating Grace who sat down while not stopping chattering beside James.
“Natasha. Come here, we have breakfast first.” Call James to see Natasha silent in the doorway.
Natasha glanced at James' plate which was still full of his cooking, but his appetite was gone. “I'm late for college.” Refuse to turn away.
“I'll take you.” James said from his seat.
“I can do it myself.” Natasha without looking.
James's body was instantly oblivious, fully aware of what Natasha was feeling at the moment. In just a moment they spent time together, but in an instant they were separated as if an invisible abyss was stretching between them. James never imagined this would happen when he had lived happily with Natasha.

It's been a few days that Grace has been living together at James' house. The situation there made Natasha even more uncomfortable. It is not just limited movement, though, but also often get unpleasant treatment from Grace especially if James is not home not to mention coupled with his heartache to see every night James and Grace sleep in the same room. Although James has said that nothing will happen with Grace and will quickly ask her to move, it is still Natasha who is most hurt right now.
In solitude, Natasha sits waiting for James in a small park near the campus. The man had promised to pick him up even though James had not yet appeared even though it was now more than half an hour from the promised time. Sometimes Natasha looks back to check the streets in the park looking for James and many times also swallow Natasha disappointed because she has not seen the man come.
Tired, bored and disappointed. That's how Natasha feels right now. He could do nothing but wait for James to arrive, and he tried to contact James many times, but the man's cell phone was off.
As she looked around, Natasha saw something unintentionally. Empty cans that roll in the wind are seen issuing a variety of bright colors. Astonishedly, he stared without a blink of the can. But the colors he had seen instantly disappeared once the can stopped. Encouraged by curiosity, he went to the can. Careful he rolled it back.
He was not hallucinating right now when he saw the colors reappearing. Like getting a new toy, Natasha rolled back the can over and over again until someone who suddenly appeared before her stopped the can with a leg.
“Hai, can you return my can.” Pinta Natasha raises her head with a pleading face.
“This?” Asked the man to play a can under his feet.
Natasha nodded quickly with a hopeful look. The man instead gave the can as Natasha expected, but stepped on it to a dent.
“You ruined the color of my can.” Natasha is upset.
The man chuckled at the annoyed Natasha half-dead. Ignoring the unknown man, Natasha turned her attention to the garden swing that was creaking in the wind. The swing also let out a colorful every creak making Natasha unconsciously walk up to him.
Natasha's attention to the swing was again distracted by the sound of a loud knock from behind. The man who had disturbed him was still there. Banging iron board play with wood. The colors that were removed from the man's punches were more beautiful because they were more rhythmic.
“Why stop?” Natasha's protest saw the man no longer banging on the wood.
“What's the reason?” The man turned around asking and looked at Natasha amusedly.
“I want to see the color again.” Natasha.
“You mean listen to his tone?” The man confirmed Natasha's words. He again knocked the wood slower than before while paying attention to Natasha's reaction.
“You see that? The color is very beautiful, but dim because you hit it not as hard as earlier.” Bright Natasha.
Back the man chuckled at Natasha's words, “there is no color there, there is only a beautiful tone.”
“You think I'm hallucinating.” Natasha was upset.
“No. I thought you were a Sinesthetiker.” Said the man.
“For people with more brain capacity, you suck so badly in the vocabulary.” The man's lips chuckled, “Sinesthetiker, a person with Synesthesia.”
“What is dangerous?” Natasha approached the man, interested in what he had just gotten.
“I'm Sean.” The man reached out, ignoring Natasha's question.
“Natasha.” Reply Natasha.
“I know.” Short word sean, “ayo, come with me.”
Sean dragged Natasha out of the park. He took her around many places visited by street musicians. Although initially Natasha looks objected, finally the girl revels in enjoying the beauty of color in her life that she just got. In an instant Natasha forgot her promise to wait for James to pick her up. The man he had just known had done little to show what he had not realized.
“The colors are so beautiful, they look bright.” Natasha cried every time she heard the beautiful tone sung by street musicians.
Or, “astaga. That guy broke the color.” Natasha grunts every hear of street musicians who play their instruments originally.
If only the person who did not understand what happened to Natasha, maybe the girl was thought to have just used illegal drugs to make her hallucinate. But it was not the case with Sean who had been watching Natasha for a long time, and the incident in the park was just a coincidence that made him get acquainted with the girl.
“You like by today?” Sean asked as they warmed up in a cafe. The day had indeed gone by the night when they realized the time that had passed.
“Yes, I'm so happy. All this time I was unaware of the colorful existence in my life.” Reply Natasha enthusiastically.
“Maybe you have it long ago, it's just disappeared and only now your synesthesia appears again.” Sean said he thought.
Natasha kept quiet remembering her childhood. He used to love the song especially Nathan piano game that always makes him cheerful because every twang piano keys played Nathan has a beautiful color.
“I remember now. When I was a kid, I loved listening to my brother play the piano. The color of the music it plays looks amazing to me.” Natasha.
“Then why did you lose that color all this time?” Sean asked curiously.
“My brother no longer plays the piano. He'd rather spend time practicing martial arts and also shooting.” Answer Natasha.
“Maybe because of that synesthesia is gone.”
“But how do you know I'm a Sinesthetiser?”
“Lucky guess. I noticed you earlier while playing with an empty can.” Sean replied chuckling.
“You owe me one can.” Natasha's gerutu recalled the fate of the can earlier.
“I'll replace it better later.” Said Sean.
“You promise.” Natasha moved her little finger.
“Appointments.” Sean's voice greeted Natasha's little finger and linked it to her own little finger. They exchanged looks and smiled.
“I have to go home. My brother must be furious if he finds out I came home too late.” Natasha said she realized that it was getting late now.
“Will I take you home.”

Sure enough, when Sean's car parked in front of the house they cross paths with James' car that runs from another direction. From inside the car, Natasha could clearly see the man's anger. Even when Sean came out with him down, James just stared coldly at his new friend and told Natasha to go in. James's spark of anger grew even more burning as Sean presumptuously kissed Natasha's cheek in front of the man before they parted ways.
“Where have you been? I was looking for you in the park, but you've disappeared.” James said sharply after they entered the house.
“I went to play with Sean.” Reply Natasha lirih.
“Didn't I tell you to wait in the park.” Jerky James.
“I've been waiting for you there for over an hour, but you didn't come either.” Natasha defended herself.
“Why not call me?”
“I've done, everything is connected in mailbox.” Erang Natasha, “I'm tired, James.” He continued before the man asked another question that would lead them to another quarrel as usual.
James breathed a tired breath. She followed Natasha into the girl's room. Since Grace's arrival, she feels Natasha is getting away from her. That was what made James anxious, let alone seeing another man blatantly approach Natasha right in front of him. I want him to beat that guy.
“I know you're not comfortable with Grace's arrival. But please hold on a little more. I've asked Grace to find a new place to live, she's been able to support it. Grace has accepted that our relationship was impossible to repeat. Please be patient.” Pinta James hugged Natasha tightly.
“I don't want to interfere in that matter.” Natasha lirih.
“Tasya..” Frustrated Erang James, breathed deeply to ease his immortality. “I have two plane tickets to Spain. There'll be a La Tomatina festival later this month, we'll be there for the holidays. How?” He continued to remember two tickets that some time ago he deliberately ordered for a holiday planned long before.
“But we have no college holiday schedule.” Natasha said astonished.
“We truant a few days. It's just me and you.” James said expectantly.
Long enough Natasha was silent weighing James' offer until finally she nodded in agreement.
“I love you Natasha.” Blissfully, James clasped Natasha's lips and kissed her deeply and passionately.
