The Heiress'S Love

The Heiress'S Love
Chapters 20. Color in My Life

Synesthesia…

Synesthesia is a neurological phenomenon in which the brain gives rise to multiple perceptions of sight, sound, or sense responses. For example, he will see red when he hears or reads the word “senin”, while every hear or see the word “selasa” he will immediately see blue.

Natasha reads every tip she gets from the search engine on her laptop carefully. It has been a few days since the incident in the park happened, he was increasingly able to see the colors of every sound of an object. Unsatisfied with what he got, Natasha kept looking for something strange in him until late at night.

Chromesthesia

Another common form of synesthesia is the association of sound with color. Some people hear everyday sounds like doors opening, cars honking or people talking can trigger seeing colors. For others the color is triggered when hearing a musical note being played.

A wall clock in the room caught Natasha's attention. He could see the gray color dimming every beat heard. So it's called Chromesthesia. Inner Natasha.

The creaking of the door again caught Natasha's attention, slowly the door of her room opened. He rarely locks the door at night because James usually goes in to say good night. Like tonight, after the door was slightly opened the man appeared.

“You haven't slept?” James asked in wonder.

“I'm just going to bed.” Natasha closed her laptop and went to bed. “You just got home?” Ask James.

“Iya. There's work I have to do.” James said to himself beside Natasha.

“Task lecture?” Tanya Natasha frowned.

“Of course.” James retracted Natasha's hand, guiding her to rest her head on her chest.

Natasha leaned her head back, listening to James' colorful heartbeat so soothing that it made her eyes feel heavy to open.

“Sleep darling.” James's whisper peaked Natasha's head.

James looked up at the ceiling of the room. Thinking will forever lie to Natasha with what she has been doing. His life is always surrounded by danger, his hands are always covered in blood since he joined the Dark Devil, a syndicate of hitmen led by Jason's uncle Natasha. And he can't just get out of the syndicate. Now he regretted the decision taken without thinking.

In the morning there was a commotion in the kitchen. Grace, who orders Natasha to make breakfast, looks angry because what Natasha cooks is not what she wants. Feeling annoyed that her hard work was not appreciated, Natasha snatched the bag and left just ignoring Grace who was getting angrier seeing her off. He ignored James who came down from the top floor with a curious face. It was better that he leave for campus as soon as possible to avoid the snake woman.

James who felt ignored, immediately stepped foot into the kitchen to find out what had just happened there. There, Grace was sitting with an annoyed face with a plate full of food in front of her.

“What's up?” Ask James.

“Your sister really doesn't know it's lucky. I've been hard-earned to cook breakfast, he casually says my cooking is not good. See he left it just like that.” Grace said grumbling.

“Leave it. Here, I'll eat it.” James sails a red plate in front of Grace.

“Already, do not need to eat.” Sergei Grace.

“I'm hungry.” James said briefly, ignoring Grace's ban. In an instant the food had already been devoured by him, ignoring the annoyed gaze of the girl in front of him. “By the way, have you got a new apartment?”

“Not yet. Do you think it's that easy to get a new apartment. Anyway I want to fix our relationship James. Did you really not forgive me?” Grace.

“I've forgiven you Grace, but our relationship is over. Understand.”

“Do you already have a new lover?” Grace asked suspiciously.

“There or not, it has absolutely nothing to do.” Answer James.

“I think it has to do with Natasha. He's your brother James, even if you're his foster brother, you can't be with him.” Grace said to remind.

“Enough Grace. We've been over this repeatedly. Within a week quickly move from here.” James immediately left.

“Hai slackers, wake up. Lessons will start soon.” Said Sean while kicking Natasha's chair.

Despite feeling annoyed, Natasha still did not budge from her position of laying her head on to the two hands folded on the table.

“Still too early to sleep in class.” Sean took a seat next to Natasha. While waiting for the girl to respond, Sean tapped his fingers on the table.

Natasha who heard the knocking changed her position. Seen Sean's nimble fingers moving on the table accompanied by colorful colors that surround him.

“What today are you leaving alone again?” Sean asked, stopping his finger.

“Iya.” Natasha was disappointed.

“Until now I still can't believe James is your brother.” Said Sean.

“Why?” Ask Natasha wonder.

“She rarely leaves and comes home with you, moreover her attitude that seems not to know you if you cross paths.” Bright Sean.

“James was like that long ago.” Natasha said, “dia invited me on vacation to Spain this August.” Cheerful next.

“Oh yes? Is he really going to do it?” Sean's lips.

“You don't believe it?” Natasha pouted.

“No. A guy like him will only disappoint you.” Sean said frankly.

“He already gave me the ticket.” Natasha.

Sean responded with an indifferent shoulder kedigan. He's been watching James for a long time, not just James. Even Natasha's friends who have moved are not spared from her attention. It was just this time that he was close to Natasha after no one else was close to the girl.

“My stomach hurts once.” Natasha's complaining squeezed her stomach.

“Have you not eaten?” Ask Sean worriedly.

“Already. I'm going to the toilet for a while.” Pamit Natasha is out of class.

“Do not long-long.” Sean's message before Natasha disappears behind the door.

After Natasha died, Sean seemed to sit pensive. From the beginning of seeing Natasha, he was already interested. But he did not dare to approach Natasha for fear of harming the girl. So he quietly began to follow Natasha, finding out about what was around the girl. Sometimes when his longing whacks mercilessly, Sean will stand outside Natasha's house. Even if it did not see the girl directly, but it was quite a medicine for her.

Minutes have passed into hours. Without feeling the first lesson hour is over. That's when Sean realized Natasha hasn't been back to class since the break this morning. Encouraged by anxiety, Sean went out to find Natasha. One by one the toilets were close to their class, he checked. Sean has not found Natasha. There was only one more toilet that he hadn't checked.

Arriving at the place, Sean sees a warning sign the toilet is being cleaned. Without caring for the warning, Sean opens the door, which turns out to be locked. With just one break, the door was wide open. Sean saw a lot of puddles there and a strand of hair on the floor. With wide steps, Sean approached one of the rooms whose doors were held down by a broomstick. Sean threw the broom away and opened the door. In the room Natasha is seen squatting with a soaked body.

“Who did this to you?” Sean asked coldly. He grabbed Natasha's shoulder and shook her. Only the headband that Sean got in response from the girl.

“Sial!” Maki Sean is full of anger.

The jacket she wears and drapes on Natasha's body. Be careful Sean helps Natasha to stand up. Not only this time Sean saw Natasha become a victim of bullying and the cause was only one. The man who claims to be Natasha's sister is the reason other students tortured Natasha. He didn't think anyone would dare to do this again to Natasha after he had cleared up the people who tortured Natasha first.

Not caring for the curious, astonished gazes of his classmates, Sean snatched his and Natasha's bag. His mood was too bad to serve some questions that came out of the mouths of his friends who could not stem his curiosity. With a hasty step, Sean takes Natasha out of the campus unaware of a pair of eyes staring at him full of hate.
